Springhill Suites by Marriott East Galleria - Memphis

Our stay was wonderful, the rooms were very clean, and the hotel amenities were good. We will stay again if we are ever coming to the area. The person at the front desk could have been a little more friendier but the rest of the staff was great.....4 1/2 stars out of 5.

As usual, my stay was uneventful. Everything was clean and nice, the Staff was helpful and pleasent, and the proximity to major highways and shopping makes all the better.

Good. Free breakfast was not great. But everything else was good.

I have previously stayed in this brand of hotel in another city, so I had a good expectation of what it would look and feel like. I have to say that overall I was not disappointed with my stay there. My only complaints were: the battery in the smoke dector went out and the bathroom wasn't as clean as I would like. The smoke dector problem was fixed […] within minutes of calling the front desk, and I cleaned the bathroom with the can of lysol I bring on all trips. This was a nice clean hotel in a very nice neighborhood with lots of places to eat, etc. We will definately stay again.

Went with a friend and two kids. The double queen suite allowed me to have my own bed. The teenager had the foldout. The kitchenette also had a desk since the teen had homework. The kitchenette and fold out couch were a little divided from the rest of the room, this worked out since the kid had homework and wanted her own space. We were very happy from the clean welcomeness of the Lobby and desk personnel to walking into our room after a long trip. I stayed at this hotel while House Hunting. Kristin and Brittney were working the front desk during my stay. They were Outstanding. My wife requested an additional blanket due to a medical condition, they not only brought it to her but they warmed it up in the dryer for her. I have stayed in many hotels and this was a very nice hotel. The kids had a blast in the pool, the breakfast was great. They had the softest towels I have ever felt at a hotel. The bed was nice and comfy.

This hotel would compete with any 5 star hotel. The staff were incrediable. Everything about this hotel was A+. Even the continental breakfast was perfect. If looking for an excellant place to stay while in the area.....this is it.

This hotel far exceeded our expectations...nice spacious suite was perfect for our family of five. The pool was super clean and warm. (though the hot tub was a tad too hot) And the customer service was excellent! They helped us with all our needs and called the room after we got there to make sure we were settled okay. Modern look and features, like IPOD stand and speakers, flat screen HD TV and wireless high speed internet in our room and also a well equipped exercise/laundry room on second floor. Room decoration was nice and the layout, functional, but for a suite that accommodates four or five people, it lacked drawers. Besides a few hangers, there was no place to store our clothes, which were left on the floor during our entire stay. My family of 5 really enjoyed our stay. The staff was friendly and helpful. Everything was clean. And the pool was WARM!

The SpringHill Suites hotel was great in many ways, and I particularly enjoyed the big and comfy room. But this hotel is not environmental friendly at all, and produces a lot of garbage. In the rooms they have paper plates and plastic utensils, they have soaps, condintioner and shampoo disposable, rather than keeping it in dispensers on the wall. Thus […] both the packaging and the left-over content is thrown after we leave the room. We did not put down the note on the pillow stating that we would like to have new towels, still all the towels were changed when we returned. The complimentary breakfast only had disposable jam, butter, and so on, as well as plastic or paper utensils. Room was clean. The staff was friendly and helpful. The queen size beds were very much appreciated as well as the pull out bed/ couch. Breakfast was nice. and the location to nearby shopping mall was a definite plus for "Black Friday."

I stay at many SUITES hotels because I like the extra room. Springhill is a bit dated and tired. Staff was friendly, bed was comfortable, room was clean. Close to Wolfchase Galleria for your shopping fix.

The Springhill suites is the best hotel for the price in the area. They have a free breakfast, pool and spacious clean rooms. I have found other hotels in the area to fall short. the Springhill Suites was a breath of fresh air in comparison.

This was,without a doubt, the most enjoyable stay in a motel I have experienced. The folks were friendly,helpful, courteous, and just plain pleasant. They offered great directions to locations we needed to find, there were little amenities and treats that showed up when unexpected. The facility was clean, quiet, and comfortable in every regard.

I expected more based on the hotel rating. I stayed in hotel with the same rating the night before that was nicer in every aspect for less the night before. I switched to this hotel because other family was staying here.

Was very disappointed with the age and the lack of cleanliness of the hotel...especially for the price we paid. Lobby, halls, elevator and breakfast area were all dirty. The room was somewhat cleaner but very dated...old tv's, linens, bathrooms, etc. We have stayed in much newer, cleaner, and nicer places for alot less $.

the room was very nice except the bathroom had some damaged tiles on the floor.very clean and comfortable and spacious with nice ammenities.good breakfast.the hotel could use a little updating(automatic doors at the entrance would be nice)the staff were very friendly and overall it was a very pleasant place to stay

Hotel was not very clean. During our stay a little league ball team was staying and mngt let the kids run through the hallways until 1am and it started again at 6 in the morning. Breakfast area was a wreck and we could not eat there.
