Wingate by Wyndham - Albany - Albany

Hotel was very convienient to the highway. Quiet, clean. The front staff desk person was friendly. I would recommend this hotel to friends if they need a place for visitors to stay.

nice hotel with a wonderful locations everything was great except for the bedding the beds were terrible to sleep on and something kept sounding like it was dripping on the inside wall

There is a full service bar and steakhouse on the other side of the parking lot from this hotel. I think this is good information for anyone choosing a hotel.

THIS WINDGATE BY WYNDHAM HOTEL WAS VERY CLEAN AND SPACIOUS. MY FAMILY AND I ENJOYED OUR STAY IN ALBANY GA.

Room was very clean & staff was exceptionally friendly. Continental b'fast was great. Will definitely stay with them again.

The Wingate by Wyndham - Albany surpassed my expectations. The room was clean, the staff friendly, the room furnishings appropriate, and the complimentary breakfast abundant and served right on time. It's a great hotel for the money, and I'm planning to stay there next time I visit Albany.

we had to find a place to stay over on our trip from memphis to st agustine, and the wyndham at albany came up , i also was traveling with 2 cats, so i needed a pet friendly hotel, and i was very nervous not knowing what to expect, especially in a pet friend hotel, but i was very pleased with the hotel, apart from a slight smell in the front lobby area, […] everything was nice, the late night desk staff were very friendly and in the morning the cleaning crew were also friendly when i need to get some cleaning supplies they helped me out Lisätietoja

Bathtub slanted down in the middle and made it very hard to stand taking a shower. I notified the front desk and was notified they are changing the tubs in the rooms. Other than that, it was a very pleasant stay.

This would be a good review, were it not for the fire alarm which went off several times and took forever to turn off, and were it not for evidence that websites that criticize extreme right-wing politicians are censored by the hotel's server, resulting in slowing down the connection (which is painfully slow to begin with - too slow to get any business […] done). My room was clean( I thought ) upon arrival however, when I turned down the covlet I saw holes in the blanket. When I turned down the blanket, the sheets had black spots over it. I called the front desk and the clerk began explaining to me the problems with the drier causing black spots on the sheets and how blankets get ciggerette holes in them from […] being mixed with smoking room. ( my was nonsmoking). After a few exchanges of words the front desk clerk brought up new sheets and blankets which I had to change. Staff could not have been nicer. Extremely professional. Location next to freeway kept us awake all night. The bathroom light is attached to the bathroom fan. Can't turn the light on without having the VERY noisy fan on at the same time. Annoying and uncomfortable. Shower began with lukewarm water. For some reason there was no hot water. The hotel is centrally located right next to the bypass and all eating establishments are nearby. Great access to the Albany Mall and all attractions. The service at the hotel was top notched and the breakfast every morning was awesome. The staff is very attentive and the front desk especially in the evening were very helpful. Perfect location for our event. Well maintained inside and out. Well lit, secure feeling outside. Staff helpful and professional. Room more than acceptable. Breakfast quite sufficient with protein & assortment of fruits. Will definitely return and recomend

The room was pretty clean, beds comfortable But the bathtub and shower apparatus were just plain grubby. The surface of the tub was sticky, had pubic hair on it, and some Georgia red clay. The faucets on the vanity sink need to be replaced. The steam iron leaked water all over my shirt, which took more time to iron, ONCE I FIGURED OUT HOW THE HEAT LEVEL WAS […] CALIBRATED> and the surface of the iron had some residue on it. Good deal for great place to stay. Have good hot breakfast. Have microwave and refrigerator. The only thing I did not like about this is the entrance and exit to the hotel. It's hard and confuse to find the way in to the hotel. The hotel is sit at the corner next to the highway and hard to see.

Hotel in need of renovation. . air conditioner in room did not cool and was leaking water all over the floor leaving a very musty smell. Hotel cleaning staff left a lot to be desired. They left empty coffee cups sitting around, crumbs on table, garbage cans not emptied, no new coffee packs left, and left hair and toothpaste in sink and tub and floors […] not vacumned. When we left for Church, cleaning crew was on our hall and they were still there when we returned after Church and then lunch, still talking and visiting in hallway. Hotel was pretty run down. The hotel is clean and the staff is great but the mattresses in our particular room needed to be replaced. My wife and i had to sleep on the outer edges of the bed because the center of the mattress was severely sunk in creating a "hole " in the middle of the bed. Even with that it is a good value for the money.

I LOVE THE WINGATE HOTEL. MY FIRST TIME AT A WINGATE HOTEL WAS AT THE ORLANDO AIRPORT LOCATION AND MY FAMILY AND I JUST LOVED IT. WE HAD TO TRAVEL TO ALBANY AND SO I DECIDED TO GIVE WINGATE ANOTHER TRY AND THAT ONE WAS EVEN MORE BEAUTIFUL. THE LOCATION WAS GREAT, NICE AREA, RESTAURANTS AND STORES CLOSE - BY. THE HOTEL STAFF WAS GREAT, ROOM WERE CLEAN […] AND THE HOTEL IS JUST BEAUTIFUL. THEY HAVE A MINI REFRIGERATOR AND MICROWAVE IN THE ROOMS... LOVE THAT ! We found this hotel very acceptable in every way. Personnel was very perfessional and we would recommend them as a top notch hotel in every way.

We thought the hotel was nice and a good value. The breakfast items were picked over every morning by 730am - It was Memorial Day weekend plus several high school graduations so there should have been prepared for the guest number at least on Sat/Sun We did get full use of the waffle maker though. We would suggest better signage on the street or include […] in the directions on the website that hotel is located behind LongHorn Steakhouse -- We drove by it several times looking for it before we saw the little green sign for the hotel ( It was only as tall as entrance driveway sign of the fastfood place on the corner and you cant see the hotel from Dawson Rd. ) All in all it was clean and the staff were friendly. Almost everything was wonderful. The onissues we had are listed below. Low water pressure. shower was not very fulfilling because of the low pressure. The toilet also clogged easily because of this. While the room itself was neat and orderly, the bathroom had garbage on the floor, showerhead did not function well, tub was slanted inward on the bottom, tub water didn't drain well, sink faucet was too cramped and short. While my stay was nice, the pillows comfortable and soft. The shower leaked at the bottom a lot and looked like it had been doing it for a while. I did forget to tell the front desk, but it was quite strange that it leaked that bad. I also thought the coffee was exceptional and I really appreciated the to go cup. The only other thing that I found odd […] was how tucked away it was from the street had to hunt around to find it. A sign nearer the main road would help. We have resided at this hotel on other occasions and as with our other stays, the overall stay was very pleasant. Everything from the check in to the check out was wonderful. The staff was very pleasant, the rooms were very clean, and the food was excellent. We will be back in the near future. CLW-FL

Here you have an excellent hoptel with a real low price.

I will say the staff at the hotel was very nice and helpful; the rooms are showing their age but appeared to be clean except for a few minor details. And then, there was the massive flying cockroach that my spouse found in the bathroom early in the morning!! That is enough for me to not recommend this hotel...because where there's one...there's many […] many more. He didn't tell me until we were leaving because I would have never slept. So, all was well. They were nice enough to give us a 12pm checkout...room was okay showing it's age but looked clean enough..all seemed fine. UNTIL my spouse went in the bathroom in the early morning and had to battle a GIANT..FLYING Cockroach.
