Stayed the week before Easter 2012. The room was wonderful with plenty of space. Most comfortable room my family has stayed in due to the triple bed configuration. The pool was great with a nice slide for the kids. Very convenient to snorkle trips and the national rainforest jungle park. Pool was impressive and the restaurant had good food but the service was poor.

It was amazing. Hotel is clean has a hige pool, golf course and gym has lots to offer. Souroundinds around hotel very quite i felt salf went aroind town at night no worries. Love everythong about my trip. I highly recommed Fardo Inn. Thanks to all the staff top of line customer servive. I'll will be back.

It was great and the staff were superb the rooms were very plush and the sight from the veranda overlooking the ocean was beautiful

The AC worked. There was a bed in the room. The front desk was helpful and friendly. There are some nice views. There is a pretty awesome and affordable bakery near it. The room and entire bottom floor had a humid, brackish-water smell. Wi-Fi was only available outside oddly enough. It's located sort of out of the way in Fajardo and is too pricey for […] what it is. The resturant that they have, they have two, staff there were unhelpful and seem like they didnt want to work, I order a kids menu personal PIZZA and it was horrible and and very expensive. Convenient hotel for getting to the Ferry to Culebra and Vieques. Also, very close to the Bio Bay tours. Did not spend much time at the hotel as it was a stop over from San Juan to Culebra. Pool was nice. Rooms were spacious but uncomfortable... we were given 2 very flat pillows and the hotel said they did not have any more. Stayed here because it is close to the airport in Ceiba, we had a 6 30 am flight to Culebra. The room seemed fine but I never saw the place in daylight so it's hard to rate it. The neighborhood it's in didn't seem so great, but again, only saw it at night. Convienent to Cieba Airport. Price was right.

Very spacious rooms. With simple, minimal essential items. The TV did not work well, but do you really need it, when you are on vacation in Puerto Rico? The hotel has beautiful garden and trees all around it. Very nice view. Very conveniently located near the ferry terminal in Fajardo. It had two types of restaurants on the property. Trained to remember your names when they see you next time ;-) We checked in at 7 pm and checked out at 8 am next day, and did not use much of additional amenities. Such a great hotel that we even extended our 3 night stay to 5 nights. My only complaint was that you had to register and sign in to use the pool each time and had to be ready to pay $25 if your pool card was misplaced. Also the Hotel was built on a hill and is spread out. If climbing uphill and stairs is not your thing-- beware. Rooms are spacious […] and kept very clean! This looked like it was once THE high-end resort in the area. Some rooms appeared to have ocean views -- ours did not. However, we enjoyed our stay -- in a small unit with a kitchenette and a comfy bed. We enjoyed the putt-putt golf and the pools looked lovely. Friendly staff. We did not try the restaurants.

Nice enough hotel for the price we paid. The pools and amenities on site were wonderful, and it had amazing views being perched on a hill top. The surrounding neighborhood was less desirable, a car/taxi is needed if you want to venture away from the hotel grounds.

Other reviewers were right. The neighborhood is questionable. ALL houses have comple set of bars over entire front of the house on road approaching hotel. Disconcerting esp. if arriving at night. Room first night was in main building. Room was bit shabby, worn, no hot water. room 2nd night was in newer building - much nicer room, but still water only […] luke warm. Pros: very clean and has great views. Everyone loved the lower pool. Great service in the Blue Iguana was awesome and friendly. Miguel took wonderful care of our whole group and the food they served never dissapointed. Erika, at the front desk was very helpful. Don't miss the Golden Sweet bakery just down the hill. Good food and service, very busy( […] be patient!) great prices,They close at 5pm .Cons: No information on hotel and services in room. The phone had no directory or even a local phone book. Great hotel if you plan to take trips to Culebra & Vieques. Only a few minutes from the ferry. The rooms are spacious, updated and clean. Pool is nice for the kids. The area around the hotel leaves a lot to be desired. Only ice machine is by lobby which was quite a walk but our room had a refrigerator. Hotel restaurants were over priced and service […] was slow. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Not the easiest place to find, but worth the adventure. On sight restaurants fair. If we had more time, we would have tried more off-campus places to eat. BTW - if you are planning to take the ferry to Vieques, don't! Fly over from nearby Ceiba instead. We would consider staying here again. Rates are reasonable.

A bit dated rooms, but lovely grounds and amazing swimming pools. Great for kids. Two pools great for swimming laps. well equipped gymnasium, most up to date cybex equipment. Restaurants very limited and need car to get to others.

I really liked this place and the staff were super helpful. The pool was huge. As a bonus the Blue Iguana restaurant is pretty good and also full of nice people. I would caution against the shuttle services; they are convenient and do the trick, but you can save quite a bit (like 50 bucks) by booking a taxi or shuttle on your own. They were charging […] 80+ per couple and shoving 5 or 6 couples in a van to the airport, and you can book your own taxi for that much (and split with another couple to really reduce the cost). I stayed in Fajardo only out of convenience to catch the ferry to Culebra. This city is definitely not a tourist destination! I was traveling with my younger sister, and I did not feel very safe to out out (even to dinner) after dark. Fortunately, the hotel has 2 restaurants. The hotel only put 2 towels and 1 washcloth in our room...not even one hand […] towel! Even after asking for additional towels, they were very stingy on giving additional towels. For the second night, when they should know there are 2 people in the room, they still only gave us 1 washcloth!!! The floors are tile, which is fine except it stays dirty. I left an item at the hotel, and I called back the night after I checked out to tell them I would stop by the following day to pick it up. When I called the following day about coming to pick it up, they informed me that since it was after 5p, they would not be able to get the item to me b/c only one manager had a key to that room and they did not leave the item out for me...I still don't know if they are going to mail it to me or not. Wow, I am glad we found this gem in Fajardo. Its only half a mile from the Fajardo ferry terminal, so it was really convenient for trips to/from Culebra and Vieques. Also very easy to get to/from Las Croabas, the launch site for all the bio-luminescent bay kayaking tours. The hotel staff was super helpful and the pool was AMAZING! Also had a very cool […] mini-golf course and a huge (and very nice) gym. The room was average. Nothing spectacular, but it wasn't lacking anything. Very typical. It was clean and the air conditioning worked great. Shower was a bit weird--the shower head was like a locker room, so it was a hard mist. But nothing to complain about. We were really impressed that such great place was so conveniently located and for such a great price. Was actually one of the highlights of our week-long trip to PR. This hotel is within 5 minutes of the Seven Seas Beach and about 10 minutes from the ferry. It is a gorgeous hotel complete with a pool, beach pool, mini-golf course, birdhouse, and gym. Very clean, two restaurants, pretty close to beaches. Only critique were the pillows...super unconfortable

The ferry nearby the hotel has many ammenities to spend a lazy time at the pool or to labour away over the fitness center. The Mex restaurant has good food for reasonable prices. Only the staff may be slow cleaning something up

My husband and I recently stayed at this hotel and were really glad we didn't go elsewhere. This is a beautiful hotel! The views are great, even if not of of the ocean. The Fajardo ferry terminal is a 2 minute drive away (on the same road) - so convenient for our visit to Vieques. The directions to the Inn posted on the site are accurate and easy to […] follow. Our room was clean and beautiful. I really liked the high ceilings and the big shower. The outside terraces are incredible especially at night. We did not use the pool, but it looked clean and is available for use after dark as well. My only negative comment is that the food in the two on-site restaurants were overpriced - we are used to NY prices, but we expect NY standards of food for that price too. :) There are many other food options in Farjardo if desired. Nice hotel located on a hill close to the ferry terminals. Large rooms and a decent onsite restaurant. Only stayed one night. Made a quick tour or the area and didn't find it very attractive. Would stay here again but only if I needed a place to stay while making ferry connections.

Ferry service to and from the islands is easy to arrange and very inexpensive!

I have previously stayed at the Fajardo Inn (some 2 years ago) and can honestly it is still the great hotel I remember. It is quite a distance from San Juan but that is what I wanted. If you read the hotels ‘brochure’ basically what you see is what you get. The staff are very polite and nothing sees to be too much trouble...from booking horse-riding […] for a group, to scuba diving or just giving good local knowledge for a’ day trip’ out. Its a nice clean hotel with all faciilities. however unless you are planning to take the ferry to nearby islands this is not a convenient location for anything.

This hotel is close to Fajardo and the ferry to Vieques, which is why we chose it. It's comfortable, but seemed a little expensive. You will need a car, since it doesn't seem extremely close to food or transportation.

The hotel is great and the staff wonderful. The area around the hotel might make some people nervous. Fajardo is not a tourist destination, but the tourist areas are close by the the hotel is a value.

This is an old style resort, not an all inclusive mega hotel. All of the staff are friendly and helpful. You must have transportation to stay here. It's far enough from San Juan to be green and near enough to get into the city in 45 minutes to an hour. The two restaurants are serviceable with un imaginative menus. Breakfast service can be slow.

If you're looking for a resort hotel, this is not the one. However, if you want a reasonably priced hotel with a picturesque setting that is close to the ferries to the islands, this is great. Very comfortable hotel for the low maintenance crowd. It's on top of a hill that has somewhat of a view. The staff is very nice and understanding. Transportation to and from is kind of tough since it's somewhat off the beaten path. There isn't much in the area nor at the hotel. Other than a gym and a restaurant. Internet is only accessible in the lobby. […] The tv in the room is tiny (standard room). Women need to wear long pants to enter the gym area. It's close to a resort nearby to which you can go and spend the day then return. Restaurant food is okay. Overall, I was happy to stay there for the price and be able to venture out for other things.
