I'm not someone who ordinarily likes large hotels, preferring small boutique instead, but I can safely say this was the most fantastic weeks stay in any hotel I've stayed at. All of the staff were courteous, helpful, professional and above all smiley. Great amenities, fantastic food, clean, it was altogether wonderful. Excellent and friendly staff and very good facilities, hotel room well kept but could do with some small redecorations, loose floor tiles and painting on balcony. Very good access to a good beach.

I could not recommend this hotel highly enough. From check in until check out, the experience is fabulous. Lovely rooms, even the 'basic' rooms have fabulous beds and great amenities. The staff are truly helpful and friendly - nothing is too much bother to them. They are so friendly and relaxed, you immediately feel relaxed yourself as soon as you […] arrive! They had details of our last visit last year and referred to details of our previous suite etc - little touches that make a big difference. Restaurant and bar staff wonderful. The food is beautiful in all restaurants- but, the evening buffet is 40 EURO and that's the only thing I wouldn't consider good value. The champagne bar at sunset is gorgeous! Starwood preferred registered guests - take your Starwood member card as we got 10/15/20% discounts at selected restaurants on the food. Huge amount of extremely comfy sunbeds around the pools and on the grass areas, so no crowded areas and no rushing down in the morning with your towels to reserve a bed! The bar on the beach is great with a little bit of chillout Ibiza-esque music and again great food and service. The beds on the beach aren't as comfy as the pool beds, but better than average beach sunbeds. This is a great hotel for business and/or leisure and they are very accomodating to guests with families - although you are never disturbed by 'family' noise. Can't wait to return next year! Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the hotel. Cleanliness of the hotel and friendliness of the staff were excellent. The beach was beautiful as were the swimming pools and grounds . A truly relaxing holiday and a hotel that we would be delighted to return to visit or to recommend to others.

Brilliant facilities - pools, tennis courts, grounds, restaurants & lovely staff. Coupled with the hotel the August weather was amazing. Totally relaxing and close enough to Vilamoura for great evenings out.

This hotel could be great a large luxury resort hotel somewhere that you dont want or have to leave for your entire holiday. Everything that you see on the hotel website is accurate. An abundance of restaurants beautiful pools and sitting on a cliff overlooking a beautiful beach but during our say in late June the Air Con in the bedrooms was switched […] off during the night. While prices are typical of any 5 star resort the 29 euro bottle of Planalto wine was 8 euro in the restaurant across the road. The 1.5L plastic bottle of water at the Beach at 5.5 euro was 17 cents in the supermarket. Ok not the end of the world but still.... This hotel markets its many pools, services and spectacular garden and ocean views. On the positive side, the staff were very helpful and spoke good English, the breakfast buffet was superlative and there is an elevator to the beach. We visited in April, or "low season", so many of the amenities were not open. Our "deluxe land view" was of the parking […] lot, the room was not soundproof, the internet connection was not stable, and we did not receive welcome amenities. The hotel required the use of its taxi service, which was about double the cost of regular taxis, and the tours offered through the hotel were also more expensive than locally arranged tours. It is in the municipality of Albufeira, not the town, so a car or taxi is required. Olhos d Agua Beach, which is a gem, was described as a 5 minute walk, but was a 1.5 km walk. We have stayed at this hotel 5 times, and have always enjoyed the beautiful grounds and excellent service. Unfortunately, after 5 months without rain, it rained every day we were there! Here lies the problem with the location of the hotel - when you leave the grounds there is a small row of shops/cafes and a little supermarket, but nothing much else. […] You can get a taxi into Albufeira or Vilamoura where there is plenty to do. As we stayed at the beginning of April, not all the bars or restaurants were open at the hotel, which was a shame. Eating here is very expensive - almost 50 euros each for the evening buffet. The small Italian restaurant (next to the breakfast room) served an excellent set menu (54 euros each) and for about 15 euros each extra you could have a glass of wine to match each course - 5 in all - and all very large measures! Breakfasts here have a very good selection, plus free flowing cava if you fancy a bucks fizz or two! There are lots and lots of steps down to the beach - it would be quite impossible for elderly/disabled. There are free sun loungers and a beach bar. The cliff top champagne bar is lovely to sit at on an evening and watch the sunset, but could do with a little background music. As this was an Easter holiday, the hotel was overrun with toddlers/young children - whose parents seemed quite happy to let them run around the food areas, carrying full plates, or lying around on the stairs where someone could easily fall over them. We never once saw the staff ask them to move or be careful. Nice to sit at the golf club house and watch the golfers tee off. We have always enjoyed the comfort this hotel provides, but without the sun making an appearance, it is quite a boring place to stay. Lisätietoja

We went to this hotel for two weeks starting the week before half term. The hotel was only half open - especially the restaurants. The pirate ships that are much vaunted on the website were closed and would be until July (we went in May). In the first week there was no poolside service so drinks were bought at the outdoor cafe. When asked if these drinks […] could be brought to the pool the answer was 'no' no when asked to borrow a tray (there were a few on the bar) the answer again was 'no'. In a hotel of this 'quality' and price the answer should be 'yes' unless it is illegal. None of the ice machines worked at all throughout the stay. The room was often not serivced until after 4pm. The second week had nore restaurants open however this did not make up for the first week. Beer was expensive and a bottle of water was over 10 times the price of the supermarket at the hotel gate. The staff in the cafe had no idea about customer service and certainly went no way to making you feel that they wanted to serve you. As examples, food came out cold (I mean fridge cold onion rings) and when it was sent back the reason were questioned in a way to suggest we were wrong. This happened more than once. We spoke to other parents and they were equally disappointed with the level of service. Très bonne situation, bon hôtel très agréable, mais, les restaurants sont chers à l'intérieur du complexe, et à ce niveau de prix, on aurait apprécié une navette gratuite, ou le prêt de poussette, au lieu de ça tout est payant... dommage. Au final, nous avons déboursé autant en à-coté que le prix des chambres...

Das Hotel war sehr sauber und überall wurde man sehr zuvorkommend behandelt. Fragen wurde stets freundlich und kompetent beantwortet. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und waren bereits mehrfach dort. Der Service hat bisher nicht nachgelassen.

Dette hotellet var nydelig, godt vedlikeholdt, og plassert over en flott strand. Vi var der utenfor sesongen, så prisen var bra. Ingen av bassengene ute var oppvarmet, men det er innendørs basseng som holdt en god temperatur. Een mooi hotel op een prachtige lokatie. Het ontbijt is zeer uitgebreid maar wel elke dag het zelfde. Diner buffet kost s 'avonds 45 euro p.p. maar de kwaliteit is dan wel erg goed en de keuze enorm. Alom een top vakantie gehad (5 dagen) dit is ook wel genoeg in december.
