Nice clean facility in Storm Lake convenient for a downtown walk to the movie or to other local/fastfood restaurants. Good value

motel was very nice, only problem was that I had reserved a smoking room, because of my husband, and we ended up with a non smoking. they said they couldn't switch with us as a football team was coming in and they were booked full. This may be the filthiest hotel, with the worst customer service in existence. The entire facility reeks of cigarette smoke, even the non-smoking rooms. Breakfast is served until nine, I showed up at 8:40 for breakfast on my checkout day and was promptly asked to leave the breakfast area so it could be broken down. I went outside to find my truck had […] been broken into during the night, called police, and asked the front desk clerk if they had video surveillance. I am a Faculty Member at Buena Vista Universtiy and stayed here for a conference. The staff was helpful and friendly and check-in was timely. The room was very clean and neatly arranged. Free Wi-Fi makes work easy. If you can't get into the King's Pointe Resort, this is your best bet. Also better all the way round than The Sail Inn.

Glad they offer a refrigerator & microwave, but found it odd that the paint was pealing in the shower stall. Good enough otherwise.

we were there to visit the college and our stay was very comfortable and the staff was very helpful

Overall a nice stay at this hotel. Storm Lake downtown very close and a nice walk to most locations.

Small room showing its age. An envolope was left for me at the front desk prior to our arrival. An employee left it in her folder and took it home with her. It was not returned to the motel prior to you check out 2 days later. Motels are limited in this town.

The hallways smelled of cigarette smoke and the internet service was extremely slow. Breakfast was also very disappointing as is was just some packaged items and not worth bothering with.

Asked for a non-smoking room! Got a smoking room, could not sleep because the beds and pillows smelled so bad. Loby and hallways smelled like smoke also. Taken back by the odor of cigarettes as soon as you walk in.

A nice Super 8, not a fancy hotel, but good quality for a Super 8. Only complaint was black hair in the shower, before it was used by us, but not the end of the world.

Hallways reeked of smoke, rooms were slightly better. At least there was a coffee maker, frig. & microwave in the room!

The staff was wonderful, very friendly and helpful, going above and beyond to help and direct us when we needed it. The hotel itself was clean, well-maintained, and worth every penny that we spent on our night there. I would highly recommend this to others visiting Storm Lake. Nice little motel and easy to get to. Would stay there again. Only drawback is that the continental breakfast could use a waffle maker and mini moos for coffee. Other than these 2 little things it was a very nice stay.

The location of Storm lake was great to meet relatives but the Tyson plant really smells, we could not wait to leave. The Super 8 was an ok place to stay, it was away from the lake. Do not swim in the lake.

The motel was very comfortable, clean and located at the north end of the business district. We will use it again the next time we are in Storm Lake.

Hotel was excellent. Breakfast could have been a little better with the addition of some cream cheese or peanut butter for toast or a bagel.
