Ramada Downtown North - Louisville

I enjoyed it and will stay in the future

Overall the stay was nice. One disappointment was, we asked the hotel clerk for a place to eat that was reasonably priced. She told us Pat's and the maintenace man told us you could eat there for about $8.00. When we got to Pat's we found cheesburgers as the cheapest meal, and they were $16.00.

I reserved a non-smoking roon but when I arrived the only room available was smoking. It smelled horrible and had to empty a bottle a febreze to make stand te smell of smoke. Horrible place to be

wonderful place. Good price. Mexican Resturant attached is good. Bike and Jogging trails are within a couple of blocks on River Rd.

very stuffy in the room, other than that good. it seemed like no air was circulating in the room. it was hot even with the air on.

As a female that travels a lot, I do not like to stay at a hotel with outside entrances. I booked this hotel on the internet but never expected they would put me in a hotel with an outside entrance and a long walk to the lobby.

Older property but very very well maintained. We researved a non-smoking room and there was no smell of smoke at all. Appeared to me to be a very safe neighborhood. A very nice pool but our visit was is Febuary so pool was closed. Easy to find. Great location very close to the interstate easy on and easy off. You are within 10 minutes of every major […] attraction in Louisville including downtown. Room was imaculate. Bed very comfortable. The hotels.com webite said breakfast not included but nobody asked so we did the continental breakfast anyway. On site Mexican restuarant was very nice with great service and lots of TV screens for Sports Fans. The only downside to this facility is the hallways are all outdoor hallways so the hiway noise was noticable at night. Loud trucks for example. The hotel was awful. The rooms smelled bad, the paint in the shower was peeling and frayed, the tub had old stains. It was awful. Just awful. One of the worst hotels I've ever stayed at. Do yourself a favor, go somewhere else.

The Ramada Inn in Louisville, KY is convenient to I-64 and reasonably comfortable. The only 2 improvements I would suggest is better signage at the entrance and a softer mattress in the room. However, the room was clean and the continental breakfast was fine.

My wife and I stay at this hotel about 4 or 5 times a year. It has been consistent. Like most, the first thing I check for is "insect infestation." We have never had a problem. Overall, it has been a clean, safe, convenient and quiet place to stay. The bed is harder than the one I have at home. Room was clean, large and met expectations for the price. It is not downtown but right off the highway and felt very safe and quiet. The down side was that housekeeping starts knocking on the door at 7:00 am and does so every hour. They do not speak or understand English.

Not great, but certainly tolerable. Beds covered in plastic but a surprisingly decent free breakfast. Very good location slightly outside of Louisville.

This was my second stay here and I was quite impressed the first time. As a result my girlfriend and I decided to stay here again about 3 weeks later. Everything was fine upon till we caught 2 bugs; one crawling on the wall and the other in the bed. I am not quite sure what these were as I have never seen anything like them before. They looked like […] ticks but much smaller and with a somewhat rounded abdomen. Neither of us have ever seen bed bugs before so even though that's the first thing that springs to mind, we cannot be sure. hotel wasn't bad close enough to downtown only took 10 mins to get to Kosair's children's hospital. Walls were thin though and someone was yelling a lot in the pool area and we had to listen to it.

My grand daughter an I stayed at this Ramada. It was close to a hospital that she was having a proceedure. It was easy to find, ample parking. The attendant gave good directions to our room. I would recommend this facility to others staying in the Louisville area. I would also consider staying there myself in the future if I was in need of a place to […] stay for whatever reason. nice veiw and is like 2 min from down town louisville ky and 3 min to Indiana

Location The Ramada Downtown North is conveniently located off the major interstate. It is about 15 minutes away from the airport and all other major attractions. There is a gas station/convenience store and Mexican restuarant located right next door. Price The motel was competitively priced, compared to other hotels in the area. Ambiance/ Condition The motel itself is a bit worn down and there was some construction taking place. It doesn't give the best first impression, compared to other hotels in the area, but the lobby was clean and well maintained. The surrounding neighborhood is quiet and calm. The room was clean, well equipped with a fridge, microwave, hairdryer, iron, etc.., and smoke-free (as requested). The bathroom had a few broken tiles and a door that wouldn't quite shut, but these are small inconveniences. Overall, the motel was a good value for the price we paid. Location is convenient, service is good, the complimentary breakfast provided a sufficient meal, and there is ample parking. It would be considered to be at the "higher end" of motels, and "lower end" of hotels. We loved this hotel and especially its location on the RIver Road. Easy access to downtown, to Locust Grove, Falls of the Ohio and other attractions. Also, we loved the convenient breakfast each morning. Yvette, one of the staff, was especially helpful to us and we would like to extend her a commendation.

The room was clean. (The bathroom had dust behind the door, but that was the only complaint about cleanliness.) The continental breakfast was nice.

Hotel is fairly typical of it's star range. Really nice pool. great riverside location for walking, biking, or jogging. What set it apart was the service orientation of the manager and front desk clerk. they went above and beyond in helping with booking issue and stay extention at the last minute. would definitely return. good value!

Frontdesk help was good if not overwhelmed. Check-in took about 20 minutes waiting for an available clerk. Room was fairly clean- bed bug check was good (no bugs) as the mattress had a plastic cover that didn't make undo noise. Breakfast was 'meh' and really should open earlier than 7:00 am. I found my stay at this hotel to be fairly comfortable and within easy access to the freeway and downtown areas of Louisville. The bed was comfortable and good pillows. The room was clean and didn't smell musty at all even though it was a smoking room. The continental breakfast was a fairly nice spread of cereal, waffles (make yourself), yogurt, heat […] and eat sausage biscuits, bagels, toast and a few other items. The staff was friendly and helpful. My only complaint was the bathroom light was not functioning properly and kept flickering on and off like a strobe light. I did not tell the mgt. about the problem until I checked out, but they immediately contacted maintenance when I mentioned it. Good value, great location and very nice inside the room. They had a small pool that I only used once, but they had towels setup pool side, which was nice. Overall I would recommend this motel to anyone wanting to stay in Louisville on a budget, why spend more money on a room when you could spend it on beer!

Was a cheap room, lots of construction on interstate! Had it blocked, luckily we found a cab that knew his way around. The man working the night shift was rude. Next morning kinda sucked bc they kept rushing checkout by knocking on the door a couple times at 9 then 1100 even though checkout was at noon! Other than that it was decent.

Great location for travelers, comfortable room, nice breakfast. Great value for the price.

Room was clean and in good condition though a bit small. Breakfast was included which was nice touch.

Obviously not 5 star super-deluxe accommodations, but really good for the price. No bugs. Slept fine. Don't remember any noise. Pool seemed clean. The surrounding neighborhood doesn't have much, but there's plenty of vending machines and a fridge to store leftovers from when you do go downtown (which is not far when driving). The hotel is a little worn around the edges but we couldn't have gotten a better price or service. That especially goes for the in-hotel restaurant where the host let us get a to go order in even though it was 10 minutes past closing time.

The room was so clean & everything was brand new!! Had a microwave & fridge in every room. Great service! The front desk staff & the staff at the mexican restaurant went so far above for us! (Great food by the way). I would stay there again in heart beat.
