GuestHouse Inn Rochester - Rochester

The hotel could use a face lift for the interior but other then that we will definately stay there again!

i was in town for a wedding and chose this hotel because it had both continental breakfast as well as a pool for a reasonable price. the breakfast was good. nothing fancy, but they had a waffle maker, which is nice. the pool was nice and warm and the hot tub was nice, too. the room was nice, too. overall, i'd stay here again if i needed to.

The floor had not been vacuumed when we arrived. Did not receive housekeeping one day. Did not replace empty kleenex box. Condition of entire building needed attention. Only positive was the pool was a nice temperature and not freezing cold.

The size of the suite was fabulous; I've had apartments that were smaller. The queen-size beds managed to be cushy yet firm. The front desk clerk was very efficient and calm despite my arrival during a rush of other guests. Housekeeping needs to learn how to clean in the corners!!

The hotel was close to Mayo Clinic, we were a little disappointed in the room as far as dusty. We stayed 3 nights and the maid didn't clean the sink and the bed looked like they didn't take much time to make the bed. Breakfast was good.

They clean our room once in the whole time we stayed. We had to ask them to clean the bathroom. I think for the amount of money that we paid we should of received better customer service!

I am used to a very cold weather and sleep in a 60-64 degree bedroom. I could not set the temperature for sleeping low enough. The signage was not as good as it could have been - it appeared you had to go outside to go to the pool, I do not think that was correct since it was in the teens and snow outside.

Was pleasantly surprised how big our room was. Even though the hotel is older the room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was nice too.

Stayed for 30 days. Rooms are large with kitchen and large warmed pool and spa. Breakfast was awful with very limited choices and worst coffee/juice ever tasted. Cleaning in room was superficial at its best and non-existing at its worst. Staff friendly. This was our 1st time that we stayed and this hotel in Rochester and I will defintely stay there again and recommend it to our family. It is located only a few minutes away for the Mayo Clinic and also has many well known restuarants, stores, bakery, grocery story close by. We checked into the hotel late, however the night clerk, Joe, was very helpful and friendly. The beds were very comfortable.

Very nice setting. Our room overlooked a small meadow. Very pastoral. The desk service was great. The room had everything we wanted. My wife said the continental breakfast was good. Shuttle to and from med centers was excellent. Ate to much at Famous Dave's. The car service tucked near by ( separate business) was also excellent. Did you want your car […] serviced in any good way? They will do it. Totally hope we don't need to go back for med stuff, but if, you will find me at GuestHouse Inn. Thanks Lisätietoja

I don't know who these people are that are giving this hotel good reviews! It was a pretty crappy hotel. I should have known with the word "Inn". Very out-dated. Parking sucked, elevator was slow. Breakfast was gross and the person restocking the food was even more gross! You're definitely getting what you pay for here. It's a cheap hotel. One of the nicest hotels I've stayed in for the price. Good breakfast! Quiet!

We were very satisfied with the room . We are definatly thinking on using the same hotel for our next years swap meet week end vacation. We did'nt get a chance to eat at the restaurant conected to the hotel, maybe next year. I would definately recamend your hotel to anyone wanting value for thier money. hotel could use some deep cleaning, housekeepers didn't throw away garbage or pick up the bed spread we put purposely on the table Didn't clean out coffee maker. so not so sure the tub got cleaned either....indoor and outdoor doors are filthy and windows the same way. Sorry, it was adequate in a pinch..

very close and easy to get to the clinic, inside pool, parking places fill quickly.

very pleasant hotel, very convenient to what I needed to do in Rochester. There was a good restaurant- Famous Dave's next to the hotel. My only quibble is that we were mildly scolded for entering the restaurant through the hotel. If they want to discourage this, take down the sign in the hotel directing people to the restaurant.

There were negatives and positives, so I will mention both. First the positives: the pool was open until midnight, the continental breakfast was pretty typical, but with more to offer (we loved the waffles!), the heat worked great, the price was decent, parking ws easy, and the staff were friendly and helpful. Now the negatives: the decor was a bit […] dated, the wallpaper was pealing in the bathroom and the wall was cracked, there was a large spot on the carpet that looked like a fresh spill of something gross (it looked like it may have been vacumed over, but needed a scrub), the beds were a bit hard and the pillows were flat. Overall these were all minor things that are common in a "cheeper" hotel. It wouldn't deter me from staying again at a good price for a nights stay. Lisätietoja

Hotel was perfect for what we needed. Close to some fun spots around town and a very friendly staff.

The hotel was very affordable and I would recommend it.

I was a bit skeptical with the other reviews on line but it was extremely convenient to where I needed to be and the price was right so I figured most people who take the time to comment are complaining anyway.
