"Just OK"
I've stayed here before with no issues, but this time the heat/a.c. unit gave all of us a sore throat. We couldn't get the temp regulated or down to a decent level to keep it on overnight and it was in the 30's. Breakfast had the greasiest bacon I've ever seen. The rest was fine. "Great Stay"
The room was more spacious and the beds were more comfortable than a much more expensive Charleston historic district hotel. The full breakfast at no extra charge was nice. The location at the end of the new Ravenel bridge was convenient to Shem Creek restaurants and Towne Center shopping as well as a quick drive to the historic downtown. "Quality Inn Mt Pleasant steps away Cooper River Br"
We knew we wanted to spend some of our vacation in downtown Charleston and in Mt Pleasant/ Sullivan Island so this was a great location. The Hotel parking lot literally connects to the walking trail/bike lane of the Cooper River bridge (aka Arther Ravenell br) Perfect for a walk at sunset or sunrise!! The only thing is they cut their biscuits in halves which makes them hard in the warmer. Still very good though. Luckily we didnt have time to swim in the pool bc its only 3 feet deep. Its more like a wading pool for children. The website advertises a gym to workout in but that is false so take your exercise outside to the nearby park! "Quality Inn Patriots Point - We highly suggest it!"
The hotel is very easy to get to by using signs for Patriots Point and it is at the base of the Arthur Ravenel, Jr., Bridge and we could see it from our room. Very clean and quiet and everyone that works here is so nice! Great free breakfast! We visit Charleston often and we will absolutely return to this hotel.
"Beds Uncomfortable"
My wife and I are 60 and we found our king sized bed to be a bit on the uncomfortable side. Everything else about this motel was just fine.

This hotel needs maintenance. Missing bolt on commode seat, bathtub water would not turn off, need to install vent fans in bathrooms. Door would not lock unless you gave it a hard slam. Bed was comfortable, after I learned to unfold the little marshmallow pillows. Room #329
A great location with easy in and out to Charleston and also restuarants in Mt. Pleasant. Housekeeping aimed to please and the buffet breakfast was exceptional. Front dest staff could have been a little more friendly but I would stay there again

it was a great place to stay, clean. My complaint is that the AC had and old musty odor and I have allergies so it made me feel as if the air I was breathing was dirty,
"The Hotel just outside Charleston, SC"
The area around the Hotel was fantastic. It was in a great location with beauty and plenty to do around the Hotel. It was a short drive to downtown Charleston and it was easy to get to downtown from the Hotel. We really enjoyed our stay and will stay there again if we are in the area. The only recommendation for improvement would be better mattresses. Booked this hotel for the night before I left for my cruise. I was very satisfied. It is a short drive to cruise teminal. The hotel is in a nice area.. Good selection for breakfast.

"Perfect Location for active break"
Right beside the walkway and bikeway on the Mt Pleasant end of the Arthur Ravenel suspension bridge, the Quality Inn Patriots' Point is perfectly situated for an active break. You can run/walk/bike over the 2.7 mile bridge to downtown Charleston, or head in the opposite direction for the beaches of Sullivan's Island and Isle of Palms, both under 10 […] miles. And on your doorstep is the USS Yorktown museum and ferries to Fort Sumpter. The hotel is clean and comfortable, and the staff friendly and obliging, although the breakfast would be improved if fresh rather than tinned fruit were provided. "Ideal location to experience Charleston"
Close to beaches and downtown Charleston. Beautiful hotel. Staff very friendly and breakfast was amazing. Can't beat it being close to the Cooper River Bridge. The only issue we had were a couple of items in bathroom not maintained. ie: door handle needed to be tightened up . . and fan in bathroom not working.

Hotel is nice and we enjoyed our two night stay. Room was clean and well maintained. Free breakfast was limited but the lady who served it was so happy it made up for it. SS Yorktown and ferry trips to Fort Sumpter are within walking distance. The hotel was clean and the rooms were quiet. It was very convenient being just across the bridge from downtown Charleston and only a few minutes from Shem Creek with all the good restaurants. Very good location just across the bridge from downtown Charleston. The rooms were clean and comfortable with a refrigerator ans microwave. However, the beds were of low quality and shook with the slightest jostle. Breakfast was heavily carb-laden and of average quality. The waitstaff was very pleasant.

"Nice alternative to expensive historic Charleston"
Overall a nice Hotel, only a 10 minute drive or $14 cab ride to Historic Charleston a few concerns were the side entrance was unlocked all night even after I notified the Hotel Staff. My hotel room was on the 1st floor and the window didnt lock.

"Very comfortable"
hot breakfast on 2nd floor off rooms was very convenient. Desk staff printed off directions & restaurant reccommendations for us. Would stay there again
We enjoyed our stay at Quality Inn. The hotel was conveniently located and easy to find. One sidebar, however, the bed was not made up after the first night., although the bathroom had been cleaned.

We stayed two nights at Quality Inn Patriot's Point . It's everything I expect for a pleasant weekend getaway. Clean. Comfortable. Helpful staff. Fabulous location. The only addition that could make it better would be an in-room mini fridge.

The Quality Inn - Suite Patriots was only about a 10 Minute ride to Downtown Charlseton. The Hotel was easy to get to, right off Highway 17 about a 1500 feet from Cooper River Bridge.

Hotel staff was very helpful on restaurants and tours. Hotel well situated to access all. Great hospitality. Room was clean. Breakfast is hearty. Quiet place. Bathroom fan wasn't working & wasn't fixed during our stay. TV reception was grainy. Overall satisfied of our stay.

Staff is friendly and helpful, familiarizing us with the area and provided printed directions to anywhere. Hotel location is close and an easy commute to both Charleston and beaches. Breakfast was a good variety of hot and cold choices.

Stay here a lot. Always have courteous service. Have seen other posts about this hotel saying the room windows don't open or that breakfast is so so. Both are untrue. Very good breakfast. Windows DO open. Overall great hotel location for touring/or anything that you're doing in the Charleston area. Good hotel for the money.

This hotel was great! The location was excellent--right by all of the Patriots Point attractions, such as the Yorktown and Fort Sumter. It was right by the Ravanele Bridge (people parked their cars on the street by our hotel to walk or jog across it), and had easy access to downtown Charleston. A complimentary hot breakfast was served, including bacon, […] eggs, biscuits, sausage gravy, cereal, fruit, four types of juice, coffee, milk, and more. Rooms were clean, as was the hotel. Staff was great, and a computer with printer was available in the lobby for guests to use free of charge. Hadn't been to Charleston, SC in over 4yrs. Thought that I was booking the same motel that I'd stayed in last time in Mt. Pleasant. Glad that it wasn't!! Has soon has you cross over the gorgeous new bridge from Charleston into Mt. Pleasant you're at the hotel! Able to walk to and over the bridge. Walking/very short drive from the Yorktown, and water/kayaking […] in Patriot's Point. Easy drive to Isle of Palms, and Fort Moultrie. And very easy to drive into Charleston. Rooms were clean, hotel was clean...only thing they need is an exhaust fan in the bathroom. The continental breakfast was very nice also. Overall, it was a really great stay. The only problem was that the tub faucet dripped and the exhaust fan in the bathroom didn't work. Other than that, very clean, comfortable, and a great location.
