Valitsin tämän hotellin, koska minulla oli lento aikaisin aamulla ja lentokenttä on hotellin vieressä. Lentomelu kuuluu luonnollisestikin hotelliin. Huone oli siisti ja henkilökunta ystävällistä. Huoneen sulake oli luultavasti palanut, koska pistorasiat eivät toimineet, vaikka virtakytkin oli on-asennossa. En jaksanut käydä valittamassa. Aamiainen ei sisältynyt hintaan. Hotellista on kyyditys lentokentälle, joka maksaa euron. Valitettavasti ravintoloiden kasvisruokatarjonta oli huono. Toisessa ravintolassa oli tarjolla vain salaatti ja toisessa ravintolassa jättivät lihan pois annoksesta. Annos oli herkullinen, mutta tiukalle kasvissyöjälle se ei olisi soveltunut.

Hotellin sijainti on melkeimpä paras mahdollinen. Todella lähellä kauppoja, mutta ei silti ns pääkadun varrella, joten hotelli oli myös ihanan hiljainen. Viihdyimme hyvin ja jos menemme uudelleen Dubliniin , majoitumme tässä hotellissa :) Ainoa miinus on minijääkaapin puuttuminen, mutta onneksi käytävällä on jääpalakone :)

Hinta-laatusuhde on erittäin hyvä. Huoneeni oli pihan puolella, joten se oli hyvin hiljainen, eikä yhtään liikenteen melua kuulunut. Huonepalvelu toimi joka päivä. Keittiö varusteineen oli riittävä oman aamupalan valmistamiselle. Kaupungin keskusta oli kävelymatkan päässä. Hyvä valinta yksin matkustavalle.

The heart of this area is broad bustling O’Connell Street with its many monuments and grand buildings. Most famous is the General Post Office, the Republicans’ headquarters during the 1916 Easter Rising. The surrounding streets have a more local feel than south of the river but still include some fine Georgian buildings and important attractions, including The Hugh Lane (Dublin City) Gallery, the Dublin Writers’ Museum and the James Joyce Centre.

The Morrison hotel is only a two minute walk to the Luas- 35 minutes to the Red Cow parking and quick access to major roads. Museums and cafes and shops all neayby.

1st and 2nd floor rooms are not v nice. 4th is better, but i have only been given this once in all my stays, after i complained one week. the rooms are very dark so not good for business use. We spent 2 nights at the hotel for New Year and cannot recommend it enough. It's in an ideal place for sightseeing - just over the bridge from all the main attractions and everything we wanted was within walking distance. The service was great, everyone was welcoming and helpful. I spent two nights here. It's in an excellent location for walking to see the sights and visiting Temple Bar. The hotel is comfortable, has a nice bar downstairs and the staff is friendly. I'd highly recommend staying here and would definitely stay here again.

"Quiet exclusive hotel"
Passed this building half a dozen times while staying in Dublin without realizing that it is a hotel. Right on the river and main roadway with the entrance on a side street. Nice room but too expensive for the area.

The hotel was fine. I would NOT consider it a 5 star hotel. We had to drive around the block 3 times to find it, as the signage is not prominent. Lovely hotel, excellent location. Friendly and efficient reception staff.. The room was nice and when Morrisson realised that a neighbouring room might be noisy, we were moved , at no cost to a more expensive room, away from the noise. My friend and I stayed at the Morrison on our trip to Dublin and loved it. The hotel is a bit dark, but that adds to the elegance. The room was on the small side, but it was comfortable. Read a couple good reviews on this hotel, but have to disagree with some of them. The hotel itself was very nice and clean but the service was horrible. First night there we were put next to the conference room/penthouse and were told it would be quiet after 7:30 pm...no such luck there. A group of people came in after and partied till 3 am. After phoning […] several times to the night manager who, instead of removing the people from the conference room, tells us to move at 3 am...what the hell is that. The second night was ok as nothing was going on. The third and last night was again loud as they put a wedding party in the room....so guess what...another sleepless night. When we check out I ask to speak to the night manager who didn't even offer to compensate us for anything, finally and grudgingly comps us our room service...whoopee doo. Nice hotel, good location, asked for a late check out as 1.30pm was too early. They would not give me a later check out without charging me and it was very expensive, this was very disappointing

Beautiful decor and lobby. Has posh, trendy feel to it. Room layout was slightly cramped upon first walking into the room, there was a huge closet which made it difficult to move the luggage in, but other than that it was clean and comfortable. Staff was very professional. Hotel lobby bar seems to attract an after work crowd looking for a trendier cocktail […] and atmosphere than what the traditional pubs have to offer. Location is just north of Temple Bar, literally across the bridge so very convenient. Area surrounding hotel was fine, but not as exciting to me as the Grafton Street area which I preferred. The hotel is very comfortable and extremely conveniently located to all that Dublin has to offer. The hotel is located on the Ormonde Quay right on the river Liffey and you can walk to practically all of the primary tourist attractions. We would highly recommend a stay at this lovely hotel
