I have stayed at over 50 Marriott properties around the world and this was one of the nicest. The staff was fantastic, as friendly and helpful as they could be, the pool was warm, the hours of operation were great and we were able to start and end every day with a dip in the jacuzzi due to the extended hours. Sitting on the balcony watching the water was peaceful, but then you would have military ships and helicopters go by and it was not something you can experience in many places. Very clean room and bathroom. The breakfast buffet is awesome, the best omelet I've ever had. The service by everyone is excellent. I had a bay view room and it was fantastic. Very convenient to get to the parking area below via elevator. Plenty of parking. Computer at the Business Center was always available. This is a beautiful hotel on an even more beautiful island. Breath taking views. Spacious rooms. A super responsive staff. Only complaint was a very slow drain in our shower and the sofa bed sleeper in our room was twin sized and broken. We had our 4 children with us and they loved the pool!

Fun and easy water taxi to convention center. Only downside is if you have room credit and can't use it all dining the gift shop is really lacking in options.

We love staying here when we visit San Diego for a convention. There is a water shuttle that takes you directly from the hotel to the convention center across the bay. Coronodo Island is away from the hussle and bussle of San Diego. Pleant of eating places just down the walk way along the bay. I also like this island because it's great for biking.

We stayed here in March with 4 adults and 4 kids ages 12, 10, 7, and 5. It is conveniently located just off the bridge with great walking paths and a 5 minute walk to Ferry's landing with shops, restaurants, and a supermarket. The pool is HEATED which is very rare in California hotels so we were able to use it despite temps in the 60's. Response to […] any questions or requests were immediate---great service. This hotel is located right at the foot of the coranado bay bridge, getting to and from the mainland is a snap by car or by ferry. The hotel is very nice and the view is fantastic. The next time I am in San Diego I will stay here again. The only thing I didn't like is they charge you for Internet access and to print your plane boarding passes.

This hotel offers a great location, beautiful landscaping and well appointed rooms. The hotel staff were very efficent and friendly. Only two complaints: 1) upon arrival we were not impressed with the cleanlines of the room (carpet very badly stained & a dirty towel lying on the sofa. the hotel staff dealt quickly with this to correct as best as possible 2)in […] comparison to other similar resort style hotels experienced recently, this hotel charges extra for such things as guest coffee & internet access in the business centre. There was a constant humming sound the 7 days we were there, and a family with children above us (242) that were very very noisy. I had to call 3 times. But, I just wouldn't come there during the Holiday Season again. Thank You for a very friendly and accomodating staff.

Here are some issues with this hotel: - safe was falling apart - outlet came out of its socket - phone message was blinking since we were there - sink got clogged - door to room was not easy to use (harder to open door than all other rooms I have used in recent memory) Would prefer to fine a nicer hotel to stay at in my next stay at Coronado although […] the choices appear to be limited. After the Hotel Del got too expensive, I chose this hotel as an alternative. It is not too expensive and yet is a very nice place. The staff is unfailingly friendly, it's on the water, the hotel is attractive and had many creative quirks (we like the daily changing fruit slices -- oranges, pineapple etc. -- in the water cooler for example), and it's […] very close to the rest of the island including the Del. Hotel Accommodations were great...ordered room service because I was to tired to go to restaurant. Food was excellent. Overall a great experience here. Rooms are very spacious & clean. View from room was to San Diego and bridge overpass. Very nice.

Location...Location...Location! This is a beautiful property adjacent to beautiful San Diego Bay, with a fabulous view of downtown San Diego across the water. It's an easy walk to the ferry to downtown and the shops/restaurants that are clustered by the ferry dock. And it's only a 20-30 minute walk to the other end of Coronado "Island", the location […] of the famous Hotel Del Coronado (must see). The staff is very friendly and accomodating (allowed a quite early check-in). Self-parking was a tad steep at $22, but was underground and felt secure. The room was very comfy and nicely furnished. Nice bed and linens...above-average bathroom with separate big tub and walk-in shower. The outdoor jacuzzi was great. (Being December, it was too cool to use the pool.) BTW, lovely landscaping! We have stayed at several hotels on the island and this one is by far my favorite for the price. Beautiful rooms with an even more beautiful view. Great pool for kids. The boat shuttle across the bay was perfect for heading into San Diego. Fantastic in every way! Great location, my room had a view of the bay, the San Diego Skyline and the Coronado Bridge. 15 minutes to everything San Diego!

Can't wait to go back!

This hotel is so conveniently located in Coronado island. It is within walking distance to a shopping center and a grocery store. The lights are just magical at night when looking st the Coronado bridge and the reflection it gives upon the water. It is so laid back and friendly there that my only regret was that I had to leave.

We were celebrating my birthday for a one night stay we live in Escondido. The Marriott Coronado was the most beautiful hotel I've ever stayed at. The staff was amazing and very close to great food. I can't wait to come back for another special stay!!!

The Marriot wasn't as elegant as I had expected from a 4 star hotel, but was very nice and had a nice tropical theme to it. Seemed more like a great place for business and less of a romantic getaway. With that being said, we did visit towards the end of summer (Sept), so there weren't too many other tourists there, other than business meetings. It's […] off Coronado Island too, so if you want to be close to most of the tourist attractions, you might want to consider another hotel. If you have your own vehicle, driving to most of the tourist attractions will not be a hassle. Anywhere from 3-6 mile drive. PROS - Nice spacious rooms with a GREAT view of the bay and your own balcony. - Bathrooms were nice and clean. Bathtub and shower were separate. Bathtub was fairly large too. - The service people working were always hospitable. - Very nice tropical decor on the way to your room, loaded with ducks, birds and even pink flamingos outside. - Fitness center and lap pool seemed to be in great condition. No complaints. The housekeeping staff actually arranged my daughters stuffed animals on her bed. Above and beyond.

This hotel was truly a delight with a beautiful view and grounds / room accomodations. A relaxing stay for my family.

WE love this place. Unfortuantly the bed was horrible. They exchanged the mattress for us only it was worse. I begged them to replace ALL the mattresses...they SAG big time. Yes we will go back and request a room with a new mattress. It's worth another try. 4th year there!!!

There is so much activity on the harbor, a bay view was wonderful even though it was an upgrade. Loads of helicopters, navy or Coast Guard planes, boats, huge cargo ships and a beautiful view of downtown San Diego. Yet we didn't hear it while we slept. Comfortable beds and Bath and Body hair and lotion. Nice stuff!

The staff is extremely helpful and friendly. It is so quiet and relaxing. The view is amazing. We love staying here and will stay here every time we come out to visit. Just park on the street if you want to save the parking fee, which is easy and convenient.

The hotel has a beautiful view of the San Diego skyline. You are able to rent bikes and ride along the island shore and around town. It is located blocks away from the Ferry Landing Marketplace.

Excellent resort, The only area that fell short of the mark was the dining. We only ate breakfast. The staff was mechanical to unfriendly. The food was very bland. We had planned on eating all of our meals at the resort. The breakfast experience caused us to rethink that plan. All of the other staff were great.

Our hotel stay was just that. Amazing everyone was very helpful! Very helpful! and the views were great. Rooms were beautiful and very clean. We will definitely be back...Thanks Marriott employees!

I know...I know they all do it, but wouldn’t it be nice if hotels would not charge $20-$30 a night for parking on their hotel property. You are paying for a room after all. And WiFi. Come on, you could easily get this free at a run-of-the-mill motel, but hotels want to charge you $10-$15 a day for the privilege. I have not stayed at the Marriott on Coronado before and really enjoyed it. Close to everything in San Diego and on the island. Clean and comfortable room, nice amenities. Nice fitness center and a lap pool! Sunday brunch was very good. Nice views all around. Definitely will go back.

Beside the fabulous big bay view, the grounds are meticulously kept. The staff was very courteous and the room service was excellent. We truly enjoyed the stay and will come back if visiting the San Diego/Coronado Island area. Thank you for making our stay so enjoyable.

Staff exceptional, hotel dining delicious, spacious rooms. Would highly recommend and plan on staying there again. From arrival to check out it was my home away from home.

Beautiful room, pool area was under construction so a little disshelveled/hard to access (but due to the cloudy weather, we didn't use it much anyway), $22/day parking seemed a little steep since this isn't the typical dense/downtown neighborhood, loved the location (boardwalk to Ferry Landing, restaurants, etc., quiet area, view of city, etc.). My Fiancé & I truly enjoyed our stay. The brunch buffet is delicious, and well worth the price with the assortment of ripe fruit, smoked salmon, bagels, eggs, French toast, oatmeal, granola, pastries.... Neither of us ate lunch any day we were there, because breakfast was so filling! My fiancé was attending a medical conference at the convention center, […] and the hotel offers a ferry ($6pp) every half hour to take you across the bay to the convention center. I met him one afternoon by taking the ferry alone without any worry. The hotel staff is very friendly & accommodating as they allowed us to check in at 11 am when our flight arrived. Our only complaint was that the cleaning staff didn’t refresh toiletries until the 2nd day when we called to complain, but the hotel quickly took care of that issue. We are used to 800 TC sheets & a memory foam mattress at home, but we slept very soundly every night. The sheets, bed & pillows were more than comfortable. The workout facility was somewhat dated, but had more than everything we needed. We didn’t try the spa, because we felt the prices were a bit higher than what we are used to. We plan on staying here again the next time we visit San Diego. We gave it a 4 because of the maid service, but for the price our stay was delightful. Lisätietoja

Really a nice place...definetely an upscale hotel all the way - not what you would expect for the price! Hot tip - don't let them park your car - I parked on street and saved over twenty bucks...

We loved this hotel! The views were spectacular, the room size was ample, updated bathrooms, great service, and accessibility (walking and driving) was very convenient. I would stay here again, for sure. However, I was not happy about the paying for parking each night in their garage, (most hotels in this area charge for it, though) and I wouldn't expect […] the Concierge to work in your best interest to find you the best discounted rates for places like the San Diego Zoo and Sea World. Also be careful if they ask you if you want to upgrade your room. All double occupancy rooms are the same, and unless you pay for water view I found that most rooms had wonderful views. Breakfast is outrageously expensive, unless you get a special deal in which breakfast is included, I would go elsewhere for breakfast. Again, unless you must have a water view, I would say that the price for a standard room through Hotel.com is a great deal. Lisätietoja
