Munich Airport Marriott Hotel - Freising

Only there for 10 hour lay over so wish it could have been longer. Bed was sooo comfortable; free breakfast was amazing! Staff was great and very accommodating. Big conference there but they attended to everyone. I did think it was rather expensive though and therefore airport shuttle could be a free service.

This is our second stay at the Marriot and we were impressed on both occasions. Staff was very helpful, food was excellent and the rooms were comfortable.

First off the Hotel states it is an airport hotel The Hotel is 20min drive from the airport. They charge a 11 eu fee to use their airport shuttle Each way. The Hotel room was standard. The breakfast was fair not great.

Conveniently situated near the airport. Hotel is extremely pleasant, very clean, comfortable and modern. Bedroom was excellent and the meals were first class. Will definitely use again when next in Munich

I had a 24 hour stay in Freising and the hotel is just 5 minutes from the main square so ideally located. Although probably only a 10 minute walk from the Bahnhof, it's a bit of a trek across cobbled back streets so probably easier to hop a cab for about 6 euros. Reception staff were wonderful - nothing was a problem and they had plenty of helpful suggestions […] (local eateries, transport etc). A kettle arrived in my room quickly; they offered a dressing gown and slippers together with a more discreet, back route to the pool. Only downside... aircon was a bit cranky and the room was hotter than I might have preferred. The pool area could have been cleaner (I gave up on the showers) but make sure you check out the sauna area - I nearly missed it - it's very lovely and when I was there the whole fitness area was quiet bordering underused. Staff was cheerful and helpful. Breakfast outstanding. Room was a tad warm with thermostat all the way down, but jet lagged and never told anybody. Enjoyed our short stay, intend to go back with more time and explore Freising. About 15 to 20 minutes from the airport. You have to call to get the shuttle to come.

The hotel is indeed nearer Munich Airport than, say, Berlin Airport, but in no way can be classed as an Airport hotel. There is absolutely nothing special about the hotel at all to justify its eyewatering rates, even at Expedia prices - 21 euros for breakfast for example ( an offer I found easy to turn down ) I'd recommend finding somwhere else and […] spending the difference on a good dinner ! My stay at the Marriott was brief. We had just finished up our trip and needed a hotel near the airport for one night. We had a lot of bags and there was no help on check in. In fact the employees watched us struggle with the bags. You have to pay (reasonable fee) for parking 8 euro per night at a separate lot underneath the hotel. after initially having the wrong type of accomodation allocated we went down to the restaurant for dinner. we were informed there were no tables free but could eat in the bar. after waiting 20mins for a menu we were finally offered drinks and our order taken. the food arrived and was reasonable nice however the dirty plates were left on the table for […] over 2 hours. we were not offered coffee or desserts at any time. any additional drinks had to be purchased directly from the bar. definitely the poorest Marriot Hotel i have stayed in! Great service!! Extremely friendly staff. Only complaint was that the room was a bit under Marriott standards. A little worn around the edges. Overall, a good value.

This is a great hotel for anyone traveling into or out of Munich international. The staff was very helpful, and the rooms were clean and well appointed. It's an easy walk into the town of Friesing which has some good restaurants and a train station in case you want to go into Munich central (about a 30 minute ride). I highly recommend it.

We stayed at this hotel for one night as we were visiting a relative. The hotel really was to a high standard and very comfortable. I wish we had been able to stay for another night and enjoy more time in the hotel. We got a special offer that included breakfast so we really felt we had a bargain, the breakfast was buffet, cooked and continental. In spite of the hotel name, Munich Airport Marriott Hotel, this is NOT an airport hotel. The map shows the hotel being 4 miles away...that is without regard to roadways. It took the taxi 15 minutes to get us to the hotel and cost 25 Euros each way to get too and from the airport. That said, the hotel itself was great.

空港での仕事があったために前泊で利用、地図で見ると近いがタクシーで行くと かなり遠回りをしないといけないので、遠くビックリ！ 35ユーロもかかった。エアポートホテルという名前だが要注意です。 フロントスタッフはチェックインで混み合っていても他のスタッフは後ろでおしゃべり、 チェックアウトでも同じ。でもチェックイン担当者は愛想がよかった。 部屋はかなり古いが清潔だった。

Gute Zimmer,tolle Betten. Sehr ruhige Nacht verbracht. Frühstück leider nicht genutzt,da erheblich zu teuer. Innenstadt schnell erreichbar. Ruhig gelegen. Nettes Personal! Kommen gerne wieder.

Ideaal is het station in Freising. Je wandelt ca. 10 minuten door het prachtige Freising waarna je non stop in 20 minuten op het Hauptbahnhof van München bent. Tevens kun je in het hotel voor een schappelijke prijs in een uiterst"gemüdliches"restaurant eten, waarna de moderne Lounge lonkt voor een afzakkertje.

Sehr professionelles, höfliches und äußerst hilfsbereites Hotelpersonal. Gemütliches Zimmer. Regelmäßige Bahnverbindungen in die Münchener Innenstadt sowie guter Shuttle Service zum Flughafen zu preiswerten EUR 11. Alles in allem ein angenehmer Aufenthalt!
