Hotelli oli helppo löytää ja katettu ilmainen parkkipaikka oli hyvä. Bank Atlantic Center ja Sawgrass Mills kävelymatkan päässä.Todella siisti hotelli ja tilava huone. Varusteena mikroaaltouuni oli positiivinen yllätys. Sisääntulon yhteydessä sai ilmaiset suklaacookiet! :) Viivyimme hotellissa vain yhden yön, joten emme ehtineet hyödyntää kaikkia hotellin mahdollisuuksia, esim allasosastoa ja fitness centeriä.

Olimme hotellin asiakkaina maaliskuussa 2012 1,5 viikkoa. Hotellissa tehtiin tuolloin pientä pintaremonttia, joka ei kuitenkaan haitannut asumistamme ollenkaan. Lastenallas ja tenniskenttä olivat pois käytöstä, ovia ja ulkoalueita maalattiin, eivät haitanneet menoa. Aamupala sisältyi hotellin hintaan ja aamiaisaika oli 8-11, joskus ovet avattiin myöhemmin (eräänä aamuna 9.05), mutta aamupala oli runsas ja syötävää. Huone oli siisti, joka päivä huone oli päiväsaikaan siivottu. Parveketta huoneessamme ei ollut, en tiedä oliko oikeastaan kenelläkään joilla oli merinäköala huoneesta? Yhtenä iltana pikkukeittiömme lattialla oli 3 torakkaa, muuten saimme olla rauhassa ötököiltä. Hissejä oli kolme (hotellissa oli yli 10 kerrosta) ja hissit olivat kovassa käytössä, ja siksipä ehkä melko hitaat. Allasalue oli siisti (paitsi yhtenä päivänä kun pari poikaa kantoi aamupalansa altaalle eivätkä korjanneet roskiaan pois...) Allasalueelta pääsi rannalle, mutta portti oli lukossa ja takaisin hotellialueelle pääsy oli siitä kiinni oliko allasalueella joku ystävällinen joka avasi portin. Allasalueella oli myös baari, josta sai juotavaa ja pientä purtavaakin päivisin. Hotellin alakerrassa oli pari pikkukauppaa, ja hinnat tietysti sen mukaiset. Seuraavaksi lähimpiin kauppoihin oli jonkin verran kävelymatkaa, bussilla tosin pääsi helposti ja halvalla mm. South Beachille ja toiseen suuntaan ostarille (Aventura Mall) ja halvempiin päivittäistavarakauppoihin. Alueella on paljon espanjankielisiä, mutta pärjäsimme myös englannin kielellä. Hotellissa oli ympärivuorokautinen vartijapäivystys. Auton sai vuokrattua hotellilla sijaitsevasta autonvuokraamosta. Ajo Miamissa oli melko vauhdikkaan näköistä, joten me tyydyimme ajelemaan bussilla edestakaisin :) Alakerrasta löytyi tourist-info, joka järjesti asiakkaita erilaisille retkille, halvemmalla kuin varsinaiset tour-paikat. Nettiä pääsi myös käyttämään samassa paikassa hintaan 2 USD/ ½ h. Hotelli oli öiseen aikaan hiljainen, sai nukuttua, kun ta

"Close to Fort Lauderdale Airport - not!"
This was the fifth La Quinta we stayed in during a week travelling from Dallas Fort Worth. Lovely location but our journey from the airport seemed more like 9 miles than the advertised 2.6m. Not a major problem but the pick up was disastrous. We called the hotel from the airport three times in total over a period of an hour! We were told to stand in […] the wrong place and this meant when the shuttle did arrive he drove straight past us ... after an hour's wait this was really not funny! We both had a sense of humour failure at this point. The driver when he eventually linked up with us was not apologetic at all and indeed did nothing to improve our overall impression of the establishment. On arriving, the receptionist hurriedly checked us in and again no real apology. Lovely room, overlooking a lake so no problem with physical nature of hotel. Next morning we ask about return to airport but with only one shuttle on the hour the timings were no good to us. We ordered a taxi rather than face the challenge of mis-timing of shuttle and the surly driver. However, when the driver arrived, the receptionist had disappeared and he went looking for her only to have no luck and eventually we got together by just approaching men who appeared to be taxi drivers and wandering through hotel reception. As we had an early flight to catch and were concerned about the length of the journey which had taken 25 mins the previous day, we just left. However, this time the journey was under 10 minutes door to door and well worth the $30! This was the most expensive La Quinta we stayed and the least friendly, service driven and could not compare to our other experiences. Only stay here if you are happy to put up with poor service. This hotel was very nice. The beds were more comfortable than I expected. We were going on a cruise the next day, so I booked this hotel for the ability to park for free and get a shuttle ride to the port. One thing they did not mention when I booked was that there is only one shuttle time to Port Everglades which was 4 hours before our cruise was expected […] to board. "Nice place to stay....."
I enjoyed my stay but would rather be closer to restaurants. I didn't feel safe walking to one in the dark alone. The hotel was actually really nice, sitting on the water, very quiet place just kind of out of the way for me.

This LaQuinta was a great place to stay for a night as we were visiting family in Reg. Mem. Hospital as it's just a hop skip and a jump from their. The location is very convienent and super close to dining options. "Not worth the savings"
The telephone in my room did not work. The hotel is isolated. The people in the next room were extremely noisy and disrespectful at 6 a.m. There was only one elevator at the end of each floor. There was no restaurant or bar. This hotel was less expensive than those nearer the beach, but it was no bargain. Our overnight stay at the La Quinta Inn and Suites, Fr. Lauderdale Airport was less than we would have hoped. Only one staff person--the front desk clerk?! No TV remote in our room; had to go down to the desk to get the front desk clerk to go to another room to get one for us!! No food service at night. Packaged foods found lacking. I travel for business and stay in alot of different hotels but i had to take the time to write this hotel in hollywood was amazing the hotel is newly remodeled and very nice. great quality sheets and had everything stocked!! local to anything you might need.... not really within walking distance but still convient. Hotel staff was very accommodating. Remodeling was going on when we stayed, so more dust and noise than usual. Large rooms, comfortable bed. Service was prompt when we had an issue with the toilet. Plenty for breakfast. Complimentary shuttle to airport was prompt and appreciated.

The hotel was just newly renivated. The floor we stayed on was all brand new., The room was great. It had a microwave and refrigerator. The pool area was very nice., No traffic noises at night. They have a free continential breakfast. The lady who takes care of the area was so nice, helpful and friendly, Always replenished items as soon as it was low. We stayed here one night before a cruise and was perfect for that. The free shuttle from airport and then to cruise port were alone worth it. A shopping center is within walking distance for dinner. "Not told"
My only complaint was that I was not told this hotel is under renovation...so dust, barriers and lack of fitness room were not made clear to me. The staff was wonderful but I felt disrespected by not having this information ahead of time.

"La Quinta FLL Airport"
I choose this hotel because it is close to the FLL Airport and they have a free shuttle. It is an average La Quinta Inn. The breakfast was decent. The staff was friendly. The carpet in the elevator needs to be replaced. It was a quiet night except for the fire alarm went off at 2:30 a.m. and woke me up. We had to evacuate the buuilding. when you go to this hotel make sure they don't give you the room next to the elevator or laundy room, because when people is doing laundry talks and laugh loud. also the bip noise of the elevator was kind of annoying the rest the hotel was super clean, people nice, everything was perfect.

For the price it may be a little bit overpriced considering the barebones features. I have seen better condition facility at Motel 6 for cheaper price. But the biggest turn off was the carpets in the hall way and elevator. These seriously need to be replaced by maybe tiles also because pets are allowed. "nice place for the price"
Pleasant! although no scramble egg for breakfast
The front desk staff was very friendly and helpful as was the maintenance. As for the housekeeping........they should find a new job. Very rude!!!! An elderly woman asked for help finding her room and the housekeepers who were just speaking english suddenly did not speak english and could only speak spanish. My husband helped the woman find her room. […] They continuously blocked the room doorways with their cleaning carts. Great pool, gardens, & exterior mtce. Helpful staff & decent breakfast but not enough fruit and yogurt. Prompt transport to Port Everglades and Airport but waited 1 hour for pickup from the port. Could not walk on carpets in bare feet due to very dirty, sticky and worn carpets everywhere, very dirty windows, feathers coming out of my pillow, & small […] double beds for 4 people in a room. "Convenient Location, free internet +good breakfast"
I am very happy with the overall services of the hotel. Upon returning my room keys the hotel did not provide any document of any kind that shows that I stayed there .I always got paperwork showing my duration of stay with the name of the hotel from other hotels. This seems strange.

Great place to stay if you want to relax for cheap. Nice pool, good location. Only thing that bothered us is that they have one very slow elevator so going on lvl 6 you have to wait sometimes very long and it takes you up some time. other than that nice place
"Very comfortable accommodations"
We were very happy with the accommodations at LaQunita Inn and Suites. The king size bed was especially comfortable and my husband enjoyed the outside patio and area set aside for smokers. The pool was in good shape and enjoyed. The room was in good condition and was a very good size. Location was good as it was only a short walk to a number of good […] restaurants. Airport shuttle was on time and efficient. We suspect that the hallways will be next for an upgrade as the carpets were stained in some places and well worn. "Worst customer service experience ever"
This La Quinta was the worst hotel experience my wife and I have ever had. Upon checking in we asked to add an additional night to our stay. We were told no problem, it would be a new reservation with a new charge. They swiped my credit card and everything seemed fine until the final day came. When we returned to our room that day, it was locked and […] we were told the hotel was full and to remove our belongings .. that we had no reservation .. despite the fact that we had made it at that very desk 2 days earlier. Upon protest they were very rude to both my wife and I. We were forced to remove our belongings and were left with no place to stay the night, while I stood in the lobby trying to contact my bank to prove that we had made a reservation. Eventually I got my bank on the phone and found that I had indeed been charged for the additional night. The front desk then "magically" found the reservation that THEY had misplaced, but made no attempt to apologize or find us a room. They rudely gave us a refund for the night and that was it.
