I pick this hotel because it was very close to the theme parks and including the fair room rates. The room was clean and chilly from the air conditioning. No serious compliments but only that the doors are thin that will hear people entering and exiting their rooms. Room was clean, confortable, spacious and modern....the only negative I would say was the weed smell on the whole floor due to one of the other patrons...but great one night stay.

Great modern rooms in a great location, but make sure to bring your ear buds if you plan on sleeping in come morning time. The walls to the hallway just may be made out of construction paper because one morning tome hits you can hear the maids in the hallway as they are cleaning rooms, and people conversing as they make their way through the halls. […] Only 5 mins from Busch Gardens! Im glad that I read and listened to the comments of other customers. This is better than the other hotels in that neighhborhood that are rated the same stars or higher stars. It is located conveniently close to Busch Gardens (not walking distance) and many restaurants. Our room was clean, quite, and felt safe. The wireless Internet signal was good.

As usual, I was very happy with this hotel. I stay here a lot because of the convenience and quality of the property. Something you don't rate is how comfortable the bed is--very important to me. I have never had a bed that was uncomfortable. the INN was in a good neighborhood, lots to do close by. Very clean and well kept. Defenitly a great place to stay when in the Tampa area.

The young lady at the reception desk was very energetic and helpful upon check in. Our room was neat and the the Hotel is conveniently located to the University Mall and several resturants. We would defintely stay there again.

We were traveling with 3 standard poodles. They graciously accepted us & them. ( No extra charge for the dogs!) The room design was good, the beds very comfortable, OK shower. The breakfast bar was mostly bread items. The only draw back was a sour smell to the carpet. I can only assume the previous pet owner soiled the floor & the carpet had to be shampooed. […] But we were so happy to get a hotel to accept our pets, we didn't mind the smell! Lisätietoja

Had to drive very late from Orlando to Tampa for quick stay. Arrived at the hotel around 11:30pm and was in the room about 5 minutes later, quick service and she even offered us a botttle of water for the room since apparently I looked thirsty Will stay there again.

I stayed at this hotel for one night and the bathroom was extremely dirty and the shower curtain looked as if it hadn't been washed or cleaned for a long time. I stayed there with my family, 2 children, my mother and my boyfriend and there was no food or a hot beverage available at the hotel. I had to get in the car and get the kids out of bed and get […] them in the car so we could go out to find food and beverages. After a long day at Busch Gardens, that was the last thing i wanted to do. Next time, i would rather pay more and stay at a clean place where there is food available. Lisätietoja

We stayed here because it was proximate to a meeting at a hotel across the street.. Everything was positive including the expanded continental breakfast which included apples and oranges-belgian waffles, bagels and the normal other usual. Several restaurants are within .5 mile walking distance via sidewalk alongside the 6 lane Fowler Ave.

All was pretty good but the breakfast was the worst I have seen since hotels like this started offering them. The fitness room can use some updating. The associates were great. Very accomodating.

Great rates, clean & comfortable room, pleasant staff, & good continental breakfast.

Everything about the hotel was fine except that we were in a room across from the fitness center, which got noisy at about 6 a.m. Next time we will know to request a room far away!

I was very pleased with my stay. On my last night the air conditioning went out and they couldn't get it fixed and all the rooms were booked up so they couldn't move us to another room. However, the manager did promise to compensate us for our next stay. I would reccomend this hotel to others.

The room they gave us was dirty. There was a crumpled up tissue next to our bed and hair in the toilet and bathtub. Disgusting.

We could tell the hotel was recently renovated, new furniture and all. Nice rooms and decent breakfast for the rate we paid. Pool area was good. Excellent location if you are visiting Busch Gardens or Island of Adventure.

Went at a very busy time - during the Christmas Holiday . The Hotel is OK - Not properly staffed atl all for a busy Holiday Weekend. Could not keep up over the weekend with replenishing the complementary breakfast. After our first night stay our room was not cleaned at all - we had to ask for fresh towels. The second day we did have fresh towels - […] but the bathroom was barely cleaned - we were left a lttle bottle of shampoo that was full of hair - looked as though the bottle was pulled up out of a drain. This was my first stay at a La Quinta hotel and it was a very pleasant experience. For value, it is hard to beat - I had stayed at a Holiday Inn Express a couple miles away because of it's pet friendly policy and although it was nice, it was also about 25% more (and that's before the pet surcharge). Booked this hotel primarily for the location and the price we got on Hotels.com. We were allowed an early check-in and the staff was extremely friendly. It appeared the hotel was being renovated or recently had been due to a fresh paint or carpet smell. (No Biggie) The room was clean and the bed was very comfortable, like sleeping in a cloud. This was a nice place to stay if you are going to Busch Gardens. I would recommend for a night or two. It was a pretty basic place but everything looked clean. Hallways looked like they had better days, but the room was very clean. Would stay again.

We were very pleased with the hotel. It was clean and large. All the staff were helpful. Very close to a number of restaurants and close to Busch Gardens.

This hotel was a real bargain. The room was large, clean, and nicely decorated, and the hotel staff was friendly and helpful. I've stayed in many hotels that charged $50 or more a night than this one did and could not compare.

I did not receive help with my luggage. I had a special high number of bags to carry, mine and of my family, and it did seem to me an offensive treatment.

The staff was extremely friendly and helpful and the hotel is in a perfect location to where we needed to be. The TV needs updated (the picture was very blurry). The continental breakfast was taken down so fast. They should at least leave the coffee and cream out for the late comers. All in all... a good place to stay. We will stay there again.

The La Quinta is a good choice if you plan to spend a few days at Busch Gardens & Adventure Island waterpark. The room was clean and quiet, housekeeping did everything we asked of them including leaving us alone. The La Q is truly pet friendly with no upcharge or even a deposit - you can also have a nonsmoking room with a pet, unlike some hotels where […] they require you to stay in the stinky wing. Both parks are just around the corner, less than a five minute drive. La Q has a nice courtyard pool & gardens for the hot mid-afternoon hours or a dip at the end of the day. Very nice, clean, good sized room with upgraded linens. The front desk staff helpfully provided a map and list of local restaurants.

Hotel did not satisfy our expectations at all. We have stayed in several La Quinta hotels and always had a great expirience. This hotel was old, dirty , no refrigerater in the room, no ice machine on the floor... we had made our reservation 3 weeks in advance and still were placed in the smoking room with two young children. We love to go to Bush Gardens […] and Adventure Island and even though the location of this hotel is really good we will never stayed there again. Lisätietoja

This is not a fancy hotel, but is is safe and clean and affordable. The staff was very polite and I appreciated the continental breakfast. The location is within walking distance to USF, Moffit Cancer Center, the VA hospital and Shriners hospital.

Location, price and room were all good. We have stayed here before and find the hotel very nice for the price. Neighboring hotels are a little nicer, but the price for the other hotels is too much.

There are no frills at this place, but the price showed it. The breakfast was decent. The Windgate next door is a step up, and I will stay there when I go back to Tampa USF.

Location was close to Busch Gardens as desired, checkin was painless and wasn't crowded so nice. Breakfast was good too. Beds comfy and room was good size for the rate. I did call front desk to see about obtaining an extra luggage stand and they said they would look into it and never called back. We had reservations for a non smoking room but we were constantly smelling cigarette smoke while in our room! Called the front desk and discussed the issue with them. Was unaware there was smoking allowed on the same floor as where I was staying. It turned out there is a large gap in the door frame to the room which allowed cigarette smoke to be pulled […] into the room from the constantly running exhaust fan in the bathroom. To me, smoking should not be allowed on the same floor as non smokers!!! They did ask if I wanted to change rooms but I declined. Lisätietoja
