Great hotel and wonderful staff. This hotel exceeded my expections and I will definitely stay here again.

I was looking for a reasonably priced, reasonable quality hotel close to the airport and that is what I got from this hotel. An added bonus, which the hotel web site fails to emphasise is that it is about 5 minutes walk from Eastwick SEPTA station (which is on the city to Airport line) and therefore if you are travelling there without a car, or would […] like to go into the city centre once you are there, it is very easy. The walk is quick and easy, but slightly disconcerting in that the 'path' is actually a marked off 'lane' on the road, separted from the main carriageway by a cycle lane. The hotel is also next to a restaurant (Ruby Tuesday). The hotel looks fairly new, and is well maintained. What stood out to me was how quiet it was, I didn't hear any noise from other rooms, the highway or airport. The complimentary breakfast was good.

The breakfast was a very nice variety of hot/cold food. We chose to stay by the airport rather than pay for higher rates and parking in the heart of the city. The drive into the city was minimal, about 15 minutes or so. My biggest complaint with the room was that we had 3 adults and one child and the double bed rooms were two full sized beds instead […] of two queens. Very nice hotel, convenient to the airport. There is also a train station nearby to take into Philadelphia.

room was more than adequate given the rate I paid however, the full size bed was too soft - and for the first time in many months I had difficulty falling asleep - which is very rare for me. The a/c was difficult to control and NOISY. While I've stayed at better, this was a good deal and for one night it's do-able. The room was very clean and I have experience as a hotel room attendant, aka "maid." I gave comfort a four because the bed & pillow were a little lumpy. The mirror in the room was a little distorted and actually made me look thinner! I was there for just a short trip and it was very convenient for me to drive into the city. The hotel was nice overall, but the location was not that good. There was only 1 restaurant w/in walking distance. The staff was helpful but not that knowledgable about the area. It cost $20 for a cab to the stadiums. Good place to stay for the airport not if you are visiting. Great (and free) breakfast bar!

The Hampton Philadelphia Airport has very nice rooms, and they are clean and well maintained. The staff is friendly and helpful, and the continental breakfast and shuttle bus are excellent amenities.

Lovely room, comfortable bed, very very clean and courteous staff

I was satisfied with my stay . The staff was pleasant and very accommodating. I only wish I had gotten up in time for the continental breakfast! I did have coffee on the way out and it was good! Thank you.

Great deal for park & fly!

We enjoyed the cozy room, easy going staff, and the location. Hotel is very close to airport, casino, and restaurants. House keeping was persistent with trying to enter the room to grant service. Yet on a later return to the room we realized that fresh towels and the bed were never made:-( Thank goodness the room had plenty of spare towels! 20 minute cab ride at $28.50 plus tip from downtown made this very inconvenient for me during a recent convention I was attending. However, hotel was traditional Hampton Inn terrific with great b-fast and caring staff. Fitness center has just 3 pcs of equipment. Stationary Bike was broken.

This was the best place we stayed on our trip back East. Better than the Sheraton!

The good: This hotel's location was near my brother's house in the suburbs. The beds were comfortable. The room was quiet of airport and traffic noise. The fitness room, while small, had nice equipment. The staff was accommodating in moving our room, which initially was too near the ice machine. The mediocre: Breakfast was just OK, but fine for free. […] Rooms had a somewhat musty smell, but not worse that all hotels. Bathrooms lacked enough towel racks, a non-leaky shower curtain and easy-to-use products. Too few outlets in the room. The not excusable: People were in the pool splashing around after midnight. In fact, they were there until 3 a.m. In spite of complaints. Second, the driveway immediately in front of the hotel was blocked with cars one night. This preventing people from parking by the entrance while checking in, or, in our case, dropping off passengers under the awning because it was pouring rain. Sadly, this was reported to Hampton Inn proper, who promised a voucher, which still has not shown up. Overall I thought the hotel was comfortable and a good value. Very reasonably priced when compared with surrounding motels. Room was clean, good hot breakfast (excellent coffee). Would stay there again if I am in Philadelphia.

Staff was helpful and polite, and were able to get me checked in early. Room was clean and comfortable. A previous reviewer had commented on the tube TVs, they have replaced all TVs with flat screens. There wasn't a refrigerator in the room and I thought I had read they were in all the rooms. It's an important ammenity for us b/c our 4 month old takes a refrigerated med. We called and simply said we had hoped for a refrigerator and they brought one to the room within about 20 mins! No hassle at all. Room was a nice size, outdoor pool, very convenient […] too. Spent a Saturday night here so I could get my grand daughter on a 8:00 am flight on Sunday. Hotel was comfortable and clean. Shuttle driver more than accomodating as he took us to the airport and returned my later, when the flight left, to get breakfast and be on my way to Ohio.

The only request I would have for this hotel is to upgrade the televisions. Other than that I love how close it was to I-95 and its about 20m from downtown.

Location close to the airport, free bus transport every 30 minutes, also to the railway station, breakfast already at 5:30 am. Very good staff, clean and large rooms.

Clean/comfortable convenient hotel stay here for Penn Relays and would recommend to anyone.

We use Hampton Inn frequently, because we are confident of their product. Again they were up to standard except for the shuutle service from the airport which we had to call 3 times . No explanation was given even though it was mid afternoon, ie not an unusual late /early call.

I asked lots of questions as to how to catch the train and got all of my questions answered. The woman staff at the counter even walked outside with me to make sure I understood how to get around the fence at the hotel next door. I appreciated her patience with me.

I really like the price, especially since I was only spending one night. There is one restaurant right next to the hotel, but if you want anything you have to drive several minutes. Stayed for a long weekend and the room was great, staff was friendly and building was well kept. Continental breakfast was ok, but did include a hot item everyday. Would definitly reccomend.

This Hotel is what you would expect for the price. No frills, a place to stay. This is not a bad thing, the room was clean, the people were nice, easy to get into the city, and free breakfast.

The room had tons of roaming, buzzing noise, which made it difficult to sleep. There is no service at the front desk in the morning. Everyone's bill is simply put on the counter and YOU have to flip personally through all invoices to find yours. This is so much against any imaginable privacy policy....

The area around the Philly airport is Ghetto. I flew in for a training that was taking place at the Residence Inn and had looked into booking there, but the prices were sky high(twice what I paid at Hampton.) I'm glad I didn't. The Residence was very low quality. The food was disgusting and they had Divorce Court playing on a 24/7 loop in the lobby […] so all the hotel staff could watch while they were supposed to be working. The Hampton had decent breakfast with hot waffles and some healthier options. The fitness room isn't much to speak of, just a treadmill in a small room. It's a two block walk to the train that will take you into downtown. The thing about the location is that you are basically in an industrial area with no access to good food or anything. There is a Ruby Tuesday across the lot from the hotel. I drove around one morning looking for a place to grab good coffee to no avail. There was not even a Starbucks or anything, but there were a number of Adult novelty shops and strip clubs! overall a good (functional) experience at the Hampton and I was reasonably satisfied with Philly only because I had a rental car and could drive into a nicer area to eat and hang out.
