Hampton Inn Lake Buena Vista - Orlando

Very nice hotel and friendly staff. Breakfast was good. Included both cold and hot items. Transportation to WDW on specific times. Latest ride back was before the fireworks, so own can would have been better choice.

That really says it all. There were a few nice things about the place - some of the staff was helpful, however the list of disappointments overshadowed anything positive. The breakfast was low quality with something dry resembling eggs, but it was free so it was worth the money. Our biggest complaint comes from carelessness of the housekeeping staff […] followed by ambivalence in the management staff. My son and I went to Legoland together and had a nice father/son day that we decided to commemorate with a caricature, drawn by one of the Legoland staff. Cost of admission for the two of us plus the caricature was around $150. The drawing was stored in a poster tube, and kept in a Legoland bag. The hotel housekeeping threw it out while we were away. They left foodstuffs out, and other actual trash in bags was left in the room. When we spoke to the staff late at night after determining that our momento was missing, they offered their apologies but no help. They could not reach their manager, nor housekeeping, and said they would follow up the next day. They offered us a flashlight so we could go look through the dumpster ourselves (amongst shards of illegally thrown out flourescent bulbs and other things). Even though there was a shift change, the person getting off didn't offer to help (they operate with a small front desk crew). The manager spoke to us the next day, said he inquired with the housekeeping staff which of course could not remember anything, and basically threw up his hands and said he didn't know what else could be done. I played phone tag with him after that but I was always the one initiating the contact. They offered no compensation or make-right of any kind. This hotel did not operate as if it were a location that cares about reputation or providing a hospitable environment. We went there because of the generally good reviews up to that point. Very Nice Stay. Manager was kind enough to lend me a charger for my IPAD since i forgot mine. Room was clean, breakfast was nice. All around a very good experience

Very good service, have to wake up a bit early to get breakfast and a seat in the morning but not to much to worry about. Clean, efficient, and extremely comfy surroundings. Room was on point, definitely recommend this hotel.

Kind of surprised..breakfast bar was not kept up very well. Had to ask for forks, had to ask for spray for waffle maker. Spills were not cleaned up promptly. Also...to the moron that asked us to stop banging around that was beneath us...the "banging" that you heard was the firework displays at Disney...if you had called the front desk instead of disturbing […] us...you may have found that out..:) Not a good practice to go knocking on doors when you don't know what is on the other side. Just used to a certain standard and "perfectness" with Hampton Inns...not seen here..oh... and turn the temperature on the spa down...we saw no warning signs or rules posted near the spa as far as rules..and warnings...all in all... comfy beds and hot showers was all we needed...:) Lisätietoja

Only complaint: the nice HD flatscreen TV was hooked up to an analog cable. All the HD programs were very fuzzy. Everything else was great.

when I booked this hotel I asked if they had shuttle service to Magic Kingdom was told yes. The failed to tell me that it only ran 2 times in morning & 2 in the evening. Was not happy about that as my husband has to use wheelchair and it was inconveniet . we wasted our tickets for the Magic Kingdom as I drove in the morning with plans to take shuttle […] back after he rested. I didn't want to drive in the dark. Also the park is 10 miles from the park. I would not recommend it to anyone wanting to go to Disney. Lisätietoja

The hotel is awesome for the price you pay.Nice, new and very clean. The location is perfect if you like to be close to the best restaurants and Disney. We will stay again, we had a great time.

This was a very good hotel for the money. Nice breakfast area with helpful staff. Close enough to all the attractions. Would not reccomend the shuttle service to Disney unless you are okay with being on their schedule as it only runs once in the morning 8:50 and twice at nite. 6:30 & 10:00.

God location and free parking. room was comfortable but dated. Free wi-fi was a big plus. Breakfast &coffee was very good. I have stayed here many times and think it's one of the best values in the area.

This hotel was perfect for my stay. I was in Orlando for business, but also had some free time and had easy access to Disney World. The staff was great and the hotel was very comfortable and clean. I would stay here again if I was back in the area.

Hotel was close to everything and the Mickey waffles were a treat in the morning. They need to clean up more often in breakfast room, keep the syrup replenished. And possibly add another waffle iron.

Great place to stay. Good breakfast with lots of choices and very large dining area. Would stay here again.

I have always booked at Hampton Inn due to the great beds but I think this one got the wrong mattress. Mattress was too hard and covers were lumpy. Just need to get new softer mattress and covers and it would of been much better.

We spent two nights at the Hampton Inn Lake Buena Vista on this stay. We had previously enjoyed a visit here last year. We chose this hotel because it provided a clean, comfortable room, in a very convenient location to Disney World and to many local restaurants. The hotel has a great breakfast each morning consisting of eggs, bacon or sausage, Mickey […] Mouse waffles, fruit, yogurt, cereal, etc. They provide two complimentary shuttle trips to Epcot at Disney World each morning, with two subsequent pickups back to the hotel each evening. The hotel has an outdoor pool and a business center. We found the staff to be very friendly and helpful. We highly recommend this Hampton Inn. Lisätietoja

We stayed here for our first family vacation and it was excellent. It was very clean and convenient to everything Disney has. The breakfast buffet was a money saving perk that we were looking for for our family. When we came back to the room from The Magic Kingdom, our daughter was greeted with a fantastic 6th birthday surprise of balloons, party hats […] and more all laid out on the bed for her! The staff was very personable and can answer any questions with a friendly smie and quick to respond to room requests :0) We will be staying here again the next time we go to Orlando area. This was my fourth stay in Hampton Inn Chain. Always a great bed, breakfast and amazing staff! Special thanks to Dee Dee, a life saver!!

The breakfast was very nice the had warm food as well as cold. Howeve, when it came to using the shuttle bu to drop us off at Epcot, it broke down before we even got to the main street. They did send another bus quickly. Then that night we missed the bus going back to the hotel because we were at Magic Kingdom and had to swith monorails to get back […] to Epcot. We ended up taking a taxi back to the hotel costing us $18. When parking at the park is $14. We should have driven our selves. Lisätietoja

This hotel was nice - great breakfast, very clean, staff was very helpful. Only things I would change were that the cleaning staff took two of our towels (which were hung up) and the bath mat after our first night there. And they didn't make the bed. Other than that, it was a very pleasant stay.

The quality experince started at arrival with the very professional and engaged greeting from the front desk. Also the courtesy call to the room to check in on satisfaction of room made you feel special with the experience. Vey clean. Only regret was, I missed the cookies 2 nights as I had a late return. The hotel in Palm Parkway Blvd. has super comfortable beds and I loved the location. Nears Disney Parks and restaurants.

The breakfast was great and the location was perfect for our vacation. It is very close to all the theme parks and places to eat!

Everything was great - easy location to find and get to the major parks! Two things that were lacking were onsite laundry facilities and oddly enough - fresh OJ! Its Florida and you are serving canned OJ - yuck!

We stayed on;y for one night as a stop over from Orlando Airport before going on to Bradenton the next day. The hotel is excellent for comfort, location to all things 'Orlando' and to the I4 which got us to the hotel easily and for getting 'on the road' the next day. Hotel was o.k. , but we expected a bit better because of our past experience while staying at other Hampton Inns. Pillows were way too soft, which did not allow for restful sleep. Carpet in room was a bit dirty, and some of the furniture had some very noticeble wear and tear. Breakfast room was roomy and the selection of food was good.

The hotel staff was friendly and helpful upon our arrival. The hotel was nicely designed as well, very Floridian. Couldn't as for a better location, situated between Universal and Disney (but closer to Disney.) The rooms were comfy as well. Hot breakfast was really good for a hotel, they even changed things out every day for a little variety.

This was way more cozy than hotels costing three times the price... and that is saying alot with my finiky kitty tastes. Seems very recently remodeled, friendly service, located on a tree-lined street with a fun, curvey sidewalk that leads up to several restaurants, gift shops, and convience stores. There is a huge Winn Dixie Market Place supermarket […] about one mile away. The free shuttle to the parks has limited runs, but there is also a #50 Lynx bus-stop next to the hotel for easy access to the Magic Kingdom. The tap water in this part of town is a bit odd, so you will need to pick up bottled water or use the vending machines on site. Lets make no bones about this hotel....it is top drawer! I keep coming back to this hotel for a very good reason...guess what it is? It is extremely good and we feel safe there (and at home). We are leaving Fort Myers Beach in the morning to go back to this hotel prior to going back home to England.

I cant imagine other folks complaining about this hotel. The staff was friendly, the breakfast was good, and the location was perfect. Lots of restaurants around the area. I would definitely stay here again when I come back to the area.

Rooms were clean and beds were comfortable. Not sure why, but the room felt a little humid even with the air conditioning set on 70. Enjoyed the waffles at breakfast. Coffee and hot tea were available all day. Lots of restaurants within walking distance.

Overall the hotel had great service, clean room, and professional front desk staff. One suggestion would be to upgrade to HD TV viewing (fuzzy reception on new flat screen TV's doesn't work well).

Our family of four stayed for one night in a room with two queens and a microwave and refrigerator. The room was clean and well-kept. My only complaint is that the comforters on the bed were visibly lumpy. They had obviously been put through the dryer and the cotton batting in them lumped up into balls. Not a big deal - It just wasn't very attractive […] to look at on the bed or cozy to snuggle up under. The location is perfect if you are visiting the Disney theme parks. The price of the room was reasonable, especially when you consider breakfast which included a full range of "continental" options as well as hot prepared foods like scrambled eggs, bacon, cheese omelets, and waffles.
