My family and I stayed at this hotel for the weekend, we had no complains about the room or cleanliness of the hotel..the only complaint is it is not near any good restaurants or scenes or shopping..if you are looking for quietness and relaxation then this is the place..otherwise I would definitely recommend spending a few extra dollars for one in the […] beach. We were searching for a hotel located just off I-95. We always have had good luck with Hampton Inn and this case was no different. The front desk staff were friendly and the room was comfortable. I was apprehensive about staying here, but pleasantly surprised. It was quiet, clean, convenient, and served breakfast. I have no problem staying again. They have plans to redecorate, so that will be even better. The staff is very friendly

They failed to tell me that construction was going on on the floor below me.... I had classes til midnight so getting woke up by hammering and such was not a pleasent thing...Also the bed was hard, the La Quinta inn I had need staying at was not only cheaper but much more comfortable.... Staff was very helpful and hotel is close to water taxi, (for easy access to Everbank Stadium) and other downtown attractions.

Among the best customer service I've received in a hotel in recent years.. Chris, Ben, and Sandie were friendly, helpful, professional and responsive. The housekeeping staff were also excellent - efficient, friendly, and accommodating. Made my stay very comfortable and stress-free.

Keep looking. Supposedly this hotel has great marks and scores. Really? Lobby could be impressive if it were clean and did not smell moldy.When you go upstairs to your room you will be met with more filthy carpet and dirty walls. If youre just going to watch your team play the Jags or Hurricane event then this hotel is for you. The Staff were pleasent nice and professonal. But the bed was very incomfortable and the TV keeps losing the signal. The room looked nice when we walked in. Dont spend 2 or 3 nights here. air conditioner did not work properly. maintance came in and 'fixed' it and said they could not do anything after 11 PM room did not get "cool" until the next morning when we were leaving air coditioner went on/off all night and was very loud but did not cool. we have never had this kind of problem before. we will continue to use Hampton Inn

The hotel is very convenient to numerous restaurants and attractions such as Minor League Baseball Park. The employees were very friendly and helpful. Would recommend to other travelers especially if on business travel as the breakfast is good and the happy hour is good.

This hotel wasn't bad at all. It was conveniently located near the downtown landing where my family walked to see the fireworks. Most of the staff was friendly, especially a little sweet white girl. (Forgot her name!) There was also a very nice food attendant who was so sorry she ran out of bacon one morning when me and family went for breakfast. There was one black female with dredded hair at the front desk who needed some training on how to be friendly and courteous to customers and I can't believe she didn't know any information concerning the surrounding area monorail system. When asked, she was short and cold as if she was being bothered by us asking. Other than that, staff was great. The breakfast was ok. The first morning there were cheese omelettes and bacon. I made some instant grits as well in there microwave and that helped the dry omelette, but overall after spicying things up a bit, it tasted good. They also had danishes that were fresh and not stale. I zapped them in the microwave and they were satisfying. The next morning they didn't have the omelettes but dry powered eggs and sausage patties. The eggs really needed something but the sausages were good. The third morning I made waffles that turned out pretty good but the waffle didn't have alot of flavor to it, and if it wasn't for the sweet syrup I wouldn't have bothered eating it. Overall, there were alot of choices so I can't complain about free food. The only other problem with the food other than the dry powered eggs was the running out of bacon on our third day there. I love bacon and I wanted some that morning but they said they had ran out. They may could use some better supply methods when ordering foods to make sure there is enough at hand. As for the room, the only complaint I have is concerning the poor lighting over the tub area. The Hotel was not close to any restaurants. Everything was close to the beach which was 30 minutes away you had to get on the highway. Bad location I would recommend people to go get a hotel close to the beach.

I frequent Hampton Inns because I could always count on comfort and cleanliness. That changed with this Jacksonville Hampton Inn. Dirty towels replaced as clean ones, spilled soft drinks inside and outside of elevators that remained unclean for the weekend. Carpet stains everywhere and cold coffee - instead of "priceless" it was worthless.

This hotel was clean, quiet and the location was right next to San Marco and the Riverside monorail station. The Landing was within walking distance, just across the river. The room was clean and quiet, the breakfast was good, but you had to wait forever for them to bring out replenishments. The hotel was in close proximity to the Jacksonville Jazz Festival that I attended. It was clean; continental breakfast was plenty; the staff was very helpful. The only problems I had in general were: (1) there needs to be sheer curtains behind the actual curtains because someone from the Prudential street side can see directly into the room, and (2) […] the bed was unstable and the pillows too small. When I sat on one side of the bed, the other side lifted as if I were 400 lbs. (and I weigh 170). The pillows were too small and too thick to even be comfortable. Went for the Jazz festival which was great and the hotel was close to the skyway on the other side of the river so it was quiet but we could hop on the skyway and did not have to worry about driving or parking. Everything was great, the only things I would suggest would be to put a mini fridge and microwave in the rooms and to have on site laundry  […] machines. Lisätietoja

We loved our stay at Hampton Inn on I-95! The night receptionist was very enthusiastic! Very informational, professional, and perky! Pool was beautiful! Room was very cozy, we loved the bed  Very comfortable and romantic at the same time good for a business or pleasure experience. My husband and I used this as a well deserved date. The hotel was wonderful. Clean. Breakfast was good, lots of choices. The staff was lovely and very helpful. Right there at downtown and right off I-95, super convenient. Loved It. Would recommend.

We had requested a room with a refrigerator and mocrowave, as they had specified that some rooms had them and some did not. We were given a room w/out either, and when we brought it to their attention, were told there were no other rooms available, and they would let us know if one came available. They said by the next day (we stayed there 4 nights) […] they would bring a fridge to our room. Neither ever happened, and although we tried to keep the food we had brought iced, we lost most of it. Additionally, we were attending a conference at another hotel and had asked if there was reliable mass transit so we didn't have to worry about parking. We were assured that the "Skyline" would be on our route. We specifically asked if it ran on weekends, as our conference was going on over the weekend, and were assured it did. Well, it does not, in fact, run on the weekends. These two errors cost us quite a bit of money in food and parking. The breakfast was very good, with hot food and fresh fruit, plus the usual complement of pastries and cereals. The room was spacious and comfortable. The area is nice. Stayed here as a hub for the Gate River Run. Everything was as good all in all a very pleasant experience.

I was in town for a trade show at the Prime convention center. This hotel is 5 min accross the river. Very comfortable and a good value for what i paid. I just wish it was a little closer to a few nice restaurants.

Everything was great until I had breakfast. Rubbery, cold eggs, over-cooked bacon and very flexible plastic utensils. What a way to spoil it all.

Clean rooms with big screen TV. Free breakfast was good. Nice Hotel for the price.

Location was great with the Jax monorail right behind the hotel to get us conveniently across the river. Breakfast was good with a lot of variety to choose from. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The best feature of this hotel was the bed. It was the most comfortable bed I have ever slept in. I would definitely stay here again.

This hotel was good enough for the money. The rooms were clean, the beds were comfortable, and the service was just fine. No complaints.

Clean rooms, nice breakfast and central location. Will recommend for anyone who wants to stay close to downtown area. Close to I-95.

Frankly I'm surprised this hotel only merits a 2 & 1/2 stars rating. The service staff was first rate throughout my stay from giving phone directions to answering any and all of my questions. Also the room was superior and the lobby was clean and well maintained. I will certainly stay there again.

This hotel was very clean and extremely accomodating. The staff was very friendly and the breakfast was great.

The staff at this hotel were pleasant and friendly. Had a good feeling about the hotel when I entered, the lobby was very nice and modern. My room was clean, beds were comfortable, plenty of towels in the bathroom, nice tv. The only negative was the air did not seem to get cool enough. Over all I would recommend this hotel

Room did smell like smoke even though it was a non-smoking room. We booked for 2 adults and 3 children, but the third child had to sleep in a chair since they had no way to accommodate a cot. Seems like they book for something they can't comfortably accommodate. But, it was better than paying for two rooms. The hotel was great. The staff were awesome. They make us feel right at home. The breakfasts were wonderful. The rooms were great. We were there for a conference and this was one of 5 Hotels offered to the attendees and from the comments of others staying at the other hotels the Hampton Inn was the best.

The hotel was in a perfect spot for driving to the convention center. The Landing is nearby and a great place to party. Ate at a nearby restaurant called b.b's. Fabulous food, terrible service. Not a good location for area attractions. Look near Town Center for better accommodations. Pool was closed the entire week for construction...was not made aware upon booking hotel
