The Hilton Bonaventure was a great hotel for location. However, there was no real coffee shop for breakfast in the morning. Not everyone wishes a buffet in the morning. The floor reading lamp was not functioning in the bedroom.

Had a great time in the pool....really neat in cool weather! Hotel is connected to almost everything in downtown! Great in the winter if it's cold. There was little need to go outside

Staff are very friendly and rooms are very clean. My French is poor but their english is great. If you are concearned about language, there is no problem here. I never once felt as though I could not speak with anyone. Beds are super comfy!!!! Located in the heart of Montreal and connected to the underground walkway that leads you to Central Station, […] shopping and restaurants. Tourists in our own city. Lovely get-away.

Staff was great from the moment we arrived....Only drawback was it was News Years Eve and just to many kids staying there..It became very loud in the hallways....

Wonderful hotel in Montreal. Close to all

My girlfriend and myself spent a wonderful NYE in Montreal at the Hilton Bonaventure and it was a very beautiful experience and very convenient location to get to pubs, shops, and bars.

The hotel is very nice, clean and overall awesome. Its located right in the center of everything. The metro can be taken right underneath the hotel which is very convenient. I would stay there again in a heartbeat.

We recently stayed at the Hilton Bonaventure. Hotel is conveniently located near a lot of attractions.We attended a Mtl Canadians hocky game and were able to walk to the Bell Center. Plan to visit again no negative comments about this Hotel

My girl friend and I have visited this hotel twice and both times we've been satisfied with this hotel and it's proximity to all of downtown Montreal. It is easy to access from Hwy 720 and is connected to the underground city when it is cold in winter. Easy to get to; great location for shopping and the Bell Centre; a little dated; slow cleanup of room service (I didn't have room service, but noticed room service trays outside of rooms for over 12 hours before they got cleaned up); friendly staff, nice lounge for a drink; pool was clean however not easy to access when a lot of people are using it; […] no ramps to upper level rooms which made it tricky with luggage; no carts for moving luggage from parking which is separate from the hotel. This hotel is GREAT in every aspect. Its highlight: the heated outdoor swimming pool all year round.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay, genuinely nice personnel at all levels, comfortable room, easy to get around Montreal neighborhood. Good food, no complaints. Would recommend staying there.

This hotel is fabulous. YOu can get a view over the city or over the gardens. The gardens are beautiful, The pool is heated year round and outdoor. the room is beautiful and comfortable. The staff is extremely kind and helpful. We arrived much earlier than our check in time and they had a room ready for us. The hotel is much nicer than other hotels […] at higher costs. Located right across from the train station. The staff are very professional and friendly. Unusual layout as the inside rooms surround a private rooftop garden, although there are no views of the city they are incredibly private and quiet and I highly recommend them. All staff comport themselves as if it were a five star property, they cannot do enough […] for you and treat you as an impotrtant guest, nothing is a problem or issue exceppt that your stay is as comfortable as possible. Since we first stayed at the Bonaventure over 40 years ago when it was new, we are familar with it. The hotel occupies the top 2-3 floors of an office tower. it has a large central pool and beautiful surrounding landscaping (don'y miss a walk around). The rooms are standard Hilton and a bit aged. The staff is also standard Hilton - good, but not great. […] If you have to be in downtown Montreal, it is worth considering, particularly when you can take advantage of the outdoor pool. Room was wonderful , very comfortable, clean and peaceful, overlooking landscaped gardens - a haven. Two frustrations was that the phone was not connected and the wireless internet didn't always work. The pool was a huge bonus but we found the officious lifeguard somewhat tiresome and the shower room was not up to the general hotel standard (awkward […] door to open with key / showers that didn't work / old fashioned lockers) .....but the gorgeous sunbeds made up for these drawbacks. Had a very pleasant stay at the Hilton Bonaventura Hotel Montreal. Our 17 members of our family enjoyed the hotel and especially the location to the Old City... ED

The Hilton was a fantastic hotel! We stayed for four days and three nights during the Jazz Fest/Canada Day long weekend, and just found everything from the staff, to the restaurants to be amazing inside the hotel. The concierge was very helpful in recommending great restaurants, and showed us all the best places we could walk to from the hotel. Old […] Montreal was beautiful and just a short walk from the hotel with lots of cool things to see along the way (parks, fountains, statues and old as well as very modern architecture.) The pool was the best place to be at the hotel, and I would recommend getting there by 8:00 am to reserve lounge chairs if you want them. Poolside bar/restaurant opens at noon, so you don't have to go far when you want lunch and don't want to give up your seats. La Castillion had brunch every day, and it was a full on spread of everything you could want. We didn't have vouchers, so we chose to pay for it, but it was definitely worth it for the convenience, the selection and the freshness. The chocolate danish was the best - look out for that. The room was very very clean, with great bedding and pillows. The clock radio has an iPod/MP3 player hookup, so definitely bring that along if you plan on spending some time in the room. There is nothing stocked in the mini-bar, but you have the ability to use the fridge, so bring some drinks and snacks back to the room and stock up. The shower had good pressure and the tub was really big. I'm 6'3" and even I fit in it, which is rare. Can't say enough great things about this place, we'll definitely be back our next trip to Montreal! Lisätietoja

The Hilton Montreal Bonaventure was a great experience. Wonderful staff, great service (especially poolside). Our room got a bit hot overnight but we should have checked the temperature before bed, as it was very easy to change. The Hotel was centrally located to so many places. Great place to stay!

Hotel is wonderful. I've stayed there before about 25 years ago. The reason I wanted to go this time was bc I wanted to swim in the rooftop outdoor pool at night w my boyfriend. It was v romantic :) The suite was clean, nice, well appointed. View of Old Montreal and the train tracks, but I actually like this. This place did not live up to the "Hilton" standard I had expected. The decor was 70's... There was no breakfast offered, even our room phone would be charged for local calls. Staff was courteous, check-in was fast and easy, room was large with the most comfortable bed!! Location was awesome...easy access to all over Montreal.

We stay only one night. The room was clean, great service and the king size bed was really comfortable.

We don't normally spend much time in hotel lounges, but we found ourselves in this lounge a few times and the staff was fun and especially attentive.

Friendly staff............good accommodations. Elevator to underground shopping and food courts and the Via rail concourse is underground also. All this accessible without having to go above ground.....great on a freezing cold Montreal day. Service in the hotel bar and attached bistro is slow but the food is good. Concierge was very good in recommending […] restaurant in the old town [food was excellent] and helpful in helping us finding our way around to markets etc. Cab to airport about 30 mins . and cost is set price of $38. Hilton doesnt have bus to the airport but there is a pre bookable shuttle but it stops at hotels along the way, not an option if you are in a hurry. We were very pleased with the service and generaly with the hotel: Excellent location, right beside the central rail station, close to everything, we were paying in average $6 for taxi to any place in downtown or old town. The hotel has a wonderful swimming pool on top of the roof. Very good quality for reasonable price.

The location of the hotel was great--right in downtown Montreal and close to the train station. I thought it was a little out-dated considering it was a Hilton hotel and I somehow expected more because of the hotel brand. The parking situation was not the best. As it was downtown, I did expect to pay for parking. They did have a self-park option, which […] was great since my husband is very particular about his brand new car. However, you had to pay the fee everytime you left the garage! Other hotels in the area have in-out options for their self-park garages. the staff were warm, friendly and extremely honest. house keeping was helpful and were mindful of our wants. best part was playing in the outdoor pool while it snowed.

Everything was great. Hotel is at close distance from both downtown and old Montreal. The labor day weekend was very windy and cold, so we took the car and drove instead of walking around, but I bet it would be very nice to walk in warm weather since it's very close to everywhere you need to be.
