The Maximilian had comfortable clean rooms, excellent staff and an outstanding breakfast buffet (included). The location was a few short blocks from the Old Town Square and Josefov districts. We stayed for a week and enjoyed the hotel very much.

I was pleasantly surprised when I arrived. It is a small boutique type hotel but the staff was very friendly and helpful and the breakfast which was included in my prices was great!

Great room, clean and nice decor. Loved the Nespresso machine. Concierge was very nice, location is very convenient. A little more expensive than other hotels in Prague, but was reasonable compared to similar hotels in other cities. Good quality shampoo and toiletries. We liked the room so much that we didn't want to leave and explore the city!

Can highly recommend this hotel: clean, quality accommodation, great location - walking distance to almost everywhere. Only small hinderance was the 'noisy' bedding and uncomfortable pillow - but maybe that was just me! Don't let it make you not stay here - I'm sure if i have asked they would have given me other bedding.

Hotel Maximillan far exceeded our expectations. From the time we first checked in during the wee hours of the morning the staff was more than friendly and accommodating. We liked the modern streamlined decor which was carried throughout the hotel, including the 2 public communal "libraries". We appreciated the free WiFi and the 2 public computers available in the aforementioned communal rooms. In addition to the rooms being spacious and comfortable the decor was simple and appealing. The included breakfast was particularly appealing, it was delicious, plentiful, and the waitstaff attentive. The hotel was conveniently located.

The hotel was conveniently located to the Old Town Square and many places of interest to visit. It was quiet, clean, had a great breakfast, and the staff was very professional and helpful. There is a business internet center which was great to use.

A great hotel in an excellent location. Room was very clean with very good facilities and decor. Breakfast was fantastic and staff were very friendly.

Right in the historic part of town. Great location. Super modern. Great facilities. Parking a bit high around $45 a day. Reception staff very matter of fact. Very professional, however very businesslike. It seemed that every member of the reception area was very impressed with their position. Very robotic. If you did not ask the right question, you were out of luck. Did not try to go out of their way.

Wonderful hotel with excellent location, quiet street but just 5 - 8 minutes and you are in the center of everything. Good size room, excellent bedding and service. The only small drawback I can see that if you are staying in the Red Tower, elevator only goes to the 5th floor and you need to take stairs to the 6th where my room was.

Beautiful modern hotel based in central position with easy access to main attractions. Exceptionally clean, comfortable, welcoming and relaxing hotel. Friendly knowledgeable staff. Excellent varied choice for breakfast

Nice design and decor, comfortable beds (despite the two-twin-bed-mattress version of a king size bed), tasty breakfast included, tea and snacks available all day, great location. Staff went out of their way to help me make a very early flight including packing breakfast bags since we had to leave the hotel at 5 am. All in all, this is one of the best hotels I've ever stayed in.

The Hotel Maximilian is outstanding. It is located in a nice area of Old Town Prague, close to the Old town Square. We felt very safe walking there at night. Service was excellent - they exchanged currency, arranged fixed price taxis, gave us good recommendations and were very cheery and helpful. The room was in the Red House, which we recommend, and the heat was comfortable and easily adjustable. The carpet was a bit worn, and that's my biggest complaint. There was a very nice bathroom with a wonderful tub. We didn't actually get the breakfast at the hotel but there are plenty of restaurants near by. We went on the recommendation of friends, and were delighted with our stay.

Location is perfect! 5 min. walk to old town and 15 to Charles Bridge. very modern on the inside,very sheek and confortable. room was quiet, comfortable and great value. sometimes shampoo/coffee was not replaced, but that's the only bad point. watch to NOT take the hotel taxi as they will charge 3x what a regular taxi will. Staff was very helpful and friendly. great pubs/cafes/restaraunts close by...try DaNico for EXCELLENT Italian at the corner of Ramova and Dlouha!

To our surprise, breakfast was not included. Parking was also pricey. Know the details before you book as the web information was vague.

This is a small modern hotel in a quiet part of the old town, with many nice resturants near by. The room was spacious and clean. The staff were helpful and friendly.

This hotel was first class in every way - location, cleaninless, service etc. If you want to stay in Prague your should stay here! It was only 5mins from Old Town Sqaure and there are lots of restaurants and bars to visit along the way. The staff were extremely helpful and we were really impressed with the room. The 'Haribos' sweets were a nice touch! I really couldnt say anything negative about this hotel.

I stayed at the hotel for 4 nights and was very pleased with the service. it was a clean hotel with a comfortable bed. It was right in the middle of everything and an easy walk to all of the tourist sites.

Couple of gripes: 1. The elevator (the only elevator) was broken while I was there- my room was on the 4th floor. I checked in on a Friday and the staff told me the elevator would be fixed on Saturday- it didn't happen. 2. Wireless internet access was only provided in the lobby level- and not in the rooms. Otherwise, Maximillian was a very nice hotel- great room, quiet, and an excellent location- only a 3-5 minute walk to the old town square.

We really enjoyed our stay here. The rooms aren't huge, but they are modern and clean. The location is Josefov/Old Town. You can easily walk to Old Town Square and all the touristy stuff, but also to great neighborhood places e.g. Bohemia Bagel and Bakeshop Praha. The hotel has several common areas. There's a lounge with an "honesty" bar where you can help yourself to alcoholic drinks and snacks and you just put your name/room # down. Coffee and tea are free all day. There's also a library with newspapers and magazines, many in English. And then there's a business enter with 2 PCs and a printer. The PCs were much more current, with both Firefox and IE in recent versions, than we saw in other hotels. The service was very nice. The elevator was broken for a couple of days and the staff did everything they could to help us.

Very nice hotel, well worth the price, would recommend it. Small hotel, friebdly staff, right in centre. Room and hotel were to very good standard with good breakfast.

This was a great hotel located in a beautiful section of Prague.

We found the hotel location to be better than the location of top hotels. This is a boutique hotel that seems to want to serve it's customers but because it is small it was missing some features. Our room was clean and large so it was a comfortable stay.

Upon arrival I discovered Hotel Maximilian is rated as one of the outstanding small luxury hotels in the world. What a find!! Only disappointment was that the booking through hotels.com meant that breakfast was not included in the price (for other travelers, breakfast was included). A great looking buffet but we would have had to add $25 per person. However, free access to computers and internet, an open coffee bar all day, immaculate and beautifully decorated, great location -- highly recommend

This is a very comfortable hotel, service is excellent, and the location is perfect. It is a very short walk from Old Town Square, but the neighborhood is quiet. A short walk in the other direction takes you to the metro, and there is a mini-market around the corner for beverages, etc.

Hotellet er lille, med en fantastisk service. Gode fælles faciliteter. Stort og velassoriteret morgenbord.Værelserne ikke impornerende, men absolut OK. Smilende personale. Et roligt hotel med god professionel atmosfære.

Superhyggelig hotell, beliggende sentralt og rolig med kort avstand til det meste. Meget god standard på rom og frokost. Betjeningen var hjelpsomme og svært serviceinnstilt. Et hotell å anbefale.

Hotel haut de gamme avec des chambres spacieuses, très propres et une literie exceptionnelle ! D'autre part, il est idéalement situé (au center de la vieille ville) tout en étant très calme. Je le recommande vivement notamment pour un we en amoureux...

Hotellet som helhed er godkendt! Morgenbuffeten, som koster 20€ pr. person, er det hele værd - der er ALT! Personalets service er i top. Værelserne er pæne, rene og moderne indrettet. Der er gratis internet på værelset og på hotellet. Mit eneste øf er sengen og dynerne. Dynen er en tyk vinterdyne og sengen forholdsvist hård til min smag. Samtidig bruger de nogle lagner, som virker lidt som plastik, hvilket gør nætterne meget varme!
