Four Points by Sheraton Norwalk - Norwalk

i switched rooms twice due to mod smoke odor

We needed a hotel for one night in Norwalk CT and had a pleasant stay at Four Points. Staff, particularly Jared at the front desk, were helpful and pleasant. The room, while not unusual in design, was very clean and large and the beds and pillows were very comfortable.

Very friendly and extra clean!

I have stayed at this hotel a number of times, but this time was not very good. I booked and paid for a King Bed and they didn't have one for me. While the room was clean the battroom was not fully made up, not facal soap and the bath cutain was falling off. The rooms heating system as loud and turned on and off many times during the night. I almost hesitate to post a rave review - the hotel itself is nothing special, but it completely delivered a great experience for a very fair rate. I stay in hotels @ 100 nights a year so have my own rating system. The bedding was wonderfully luxurious and the hotel was quiet and the staff attentive. Upon researching hotels in the Norwalk area, this was the only one I found that accepts pets. Suprisingly, the hotel and the rooms were very well kept. The staff on the other hand was very rude to me and my family. There was no service to speak of at all. If you are looking to be left alone, this is the place for you.

We stayed in the Four Points on our way home from NYC. The room was comfortable, although it was a little cold when we first arrived. The elevators and lobby could use a little updating - the carpets looked pretty threadbare, but the room itself was nice. Rate doesn't come with breakfast (additional $7+ dollars/adults). This hotel is just making 3 stars - maybe leaning towards 2-1/2 stars. The bathroom is very old (tiles are so old they look dirty - but aren't), and when entering the room, the heat is not set low, it's turned off... It took nearly an hour to get to a temperature at which I could take off my jacket. Overall, it's not a terrible place, but maybe a bit […] overpriced for what it is. Owners are certainly not focused on updates.. It does have a restaurant and room service - which is unusual for a property at this level, but other than that, it's a very average property at best. The hotel was under construction and generally in poor repair, the staff were incompetent, the guests were loud, the rooms were dry and the sheets were like rubber, and the breakfast wasn't good. Would not return.

This hotel was great because it was pet friendly. Our room was large and the pillows and bedding was really top notch. We had a 4:33 am false alarm which ruined a beautiful sleep. The night before the meeting room next door had a very loud religious meeting which lasted until 10 pm which was fine for us except we are seniors who tend to go to bed early. […] They offered to move us but that was more difficult than the noise. We really didn't utilize the bar, dining room or small work out room. We were visiting people in Stamford CT The room was clean and comfortable. The only unfortunate thing--and at no fault of the hotel's...........the fire alarm went off at 4AM and everyone had to be evacuated. Those alarms are very, very loud. The room rate is always reasonable. The rooms are comfortable and clean. It is convenient to several major roadways so it is conviently accessed. The restaurant on site serves good food at a reasonable price. Service is usually very courteous and helpful. I stay their at least 2-3 times a year.

6am woken by the incessant alarm in the next room which was going off for 30 mins; then the fire alarm went off caused by a toaster somewhere. Communication was appalling. Staff could not reset alarm until fire service arrived. Fire alarm kept going off periodically for close to an hour. There was table serving breakfast to a bunch of school kids just […] along from my room (which may have been the location of the offending toaster). Noisy and close to occupied rooms. This is a very nice, comfortable place to stay...we enjoyed our short stay...it was comfortable and clean. The staff was very courteous.

The beds and pillows in the Four Points are amazing!!!!!! Nice and clean rooms, friendly staff.

Another great stay over Labor Day weekend. Clean, comfortable, quiet, even with utility workers present after weather emergency. Front desk helpful with questions. Room available to check into early was welcome. Big pillows and flat screen TV with extra channels also welcome. Will definitely be back.

The hotel lobby and staff were great. The breakfast was also very good. However, the room was dated (in need of renovation) and the bathroom was dirty. We weren't able to open the room door because it was stuck and their was no soap in the bathroom. HGI is a better choice.

Nice hotel, friendly and greeting staff. Good size room (we were 3 people in a twin bed room). Aircon was a bit noisy, but not too bad. Recommended.

I expected a little more for a Sheraton. I booked a room with a refrigerator and when I got into my room I did not have one. I asked and was able to receive one for an additional cost. Price was not the issue- more of the point. Room was clean, bathroom tile/grout was discolored (not mold but hard to describe), very stingy on towels, overall appearance […] was 1970's look- golds and browns. Again, not really bad I just expected more for a Sheraton. I would stay again but I found other hotels with nicer rooms and less money. Lisätietoja

Great service, lovely room, good pizza restaurant next door, easy access while traveling. We'll stay there again!

Clean, nice staff, but the rooms need updating. Carpets seem old and worn.

I stayed here for only 1 night when I was celebrating my birthday in NYC. The convenience to the City is amazing (20-30min drive), and the hotel is in a nice location, don't have to worry about people breaking into your car or any of that crap! I'd definitely recommend staying here if you're in the Norwalk/Stamford area or for a quick route to NYC. It's also convenient to catch the train in/out of NYC if you'd like to do that instead! The bed alone is worth the money. Like sleeping on a cloud, covered by another cloud.

The hotel was satisfactory. It was close to where we had a party to attend.

Location was close to where I had to do business. Overall, I was very satisfied with the hotel and the staff. Everyone was friendly and helpful to me. I would definitely stay at Four Points if I need to be in the Norwalk area again. The only knock is that the AC unit was a bit loud, but I was still able to sleep well at night.

We went for a one night stay on ur way to a get-together in Brooklyn. It was very clean and well appointed. We enjoyed our stay. I recommend it highly.

Good customer service, nice rooms; no microwave or fridge but for the price, no problem.
