"50.00 dollar charge for incidentals?"
After staying one night at the Embassy Hotel in Lexington KY, I noticed four days later my bank statement was showing a 50.00 dollar charge for incinental. I contacted the Hotel and the lady informed me this is Hotel policy and is released the day you check out and its your bank that is holding up the funds. I have stayed at a number of hotels in Lexington as I travel there on a regular basis. The Embassy Suites has the best complimentary breakfast by a wide margin, of all the hotels that I have stayed at. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay, however, we had two different charges on our bill. One for ten dollars, and one for 40 dollars after our bill was paid and settled... I don't understand why...

The breakfast buffet had lots of choices, but the scrambled eggs were just plain tasteless. Other than that, the hotel was fine and the front desk people were really helpful giving us good driving directions.

We were there for three nights for the races at Keeneland. On our way home to Columbus, Ohio my husband could not find his vest with his phone in it. Pulled over and after much thinking realized he had left it in the main men's room by the lobby. Called the hotel, they went into the men's room, found it and had it Fedex next day to his meeting in Iowa. […] It was stressful for him to get on a plane without his phone from Columbus to Iowa but the hotel came through. The phone arrived at this meeting on Tuesday before the projected time. "Excellent accomodations"
Three adults and a 13 yr old stayed 2 nights in a suite with 2 queen beds, w/additional rollaway for the youth. We were impressed by the helpfulness and friendliness of everyone, the fresh and clean rooms, and the extras - happy hour drinks and snacks, and the very exceptional buffet and made-to-order breakfasts. The staff went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable. The room wins my cleanliness award. The lemonade at the front entrance was a very nice touch. When I return to Lexington, this is the hotel I will stay at.

The Lexington Embassy Suites was an excellent choice for us... near to the highway, restaurants, and easy access to the attractions. The horse farm tour took picked us up in the front lobby. "No Jacuzzi!!!"
I love this hotel. It is really beautiful. BUT, I really love to go to a jacuzzi and relax, maybe have a glass of wine (in plastic cup, of course). I have stayed in several Embassy Suites and have NEVER seen one without a jacuzzi, until now. It was the only disappointment I experienced. Its one of the few amenities I really look for, along with a free […] breakfast and free parking. Oh, there was the charge for wireless internet, which is ridculous in today's world.
