Excellent for the price it was. Nice, clean neighborhood of Ann Arbor near the North Campus of UofM. Buy the room for double beds because the price is about the same but more roomy. That is what I did - alone. Free room phone calls around all the USA ! I liked the simple breakfast too - it was all fresh and ok tasting even if it came out of bags...Danishes were great ( I do not usually even eat pastry). The only negative I found was that the walls are not the thickest! Ask to live in the 3rd floor and in the court yard (front side). While in town try Red Hawk's fajita salad, and Olga's Kitchen! ( I used to live here for school in the 90's and they have been around since!)

Sarah at the front desk was the most helpful and professional person I have had the pleasure in dealing with in a very long time. She was great and very helpful in assisting us with our reservation change through hotels.com.
"Nice Lobby"
The lobby area was clearly remodeled recently, making a nice first impression. That did not carry over into the rest of the hotel. Small pool, no continental breakfast. King room was tiny, but it had a nice HD TV in it. Nothing outright bad, but nothing special either. I've had better value elsewhere.

This Marriott was conveniently located by the friends we were visiting. Rooms were clean and comfortable. However, the air conditioning unit was quite noisy when it was blowing cold air.

But it wasn't close to our wedding in Hartland. room, bed and faculities were good but the buffet breakfast was not worth $8.99

When we checked in, we were not able to get a room with a frig. But before we got unpacked, the manager brought one to our room, plugged it in and we were very happy that he cared enough to do that for us!

Our daughter and son in law moved in to their new home in Brighton, so we went down to help and see their place. The hotel would have been all but impossible to find without our GPS. The room was small but comfortable. I was a bit disappointed about the clean up charge for pets. We were only there to sleep, the rest of the time we were gone. My husband and I got a great price for a room from Hotels.com. At check-in, we were able to have some special requests met and were pleased with the service. Overall, we had an excellent stay and would recommend this hotel.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room & beds were nice and we got a restful sleep. The coffee in the morning was wonderful.....I enjoy a full body flavor and they supplied that!

I chose this hotel because of the location and the reputation of the hotel. First the spa had been removed, I was under the impression there was a continental breakfast wrong again. "Marriott Brighton"
Great location - near highway and shopping and food. However, the actual room was small with very little bathroom countertop or closet space. The sofa was a pull-out bed and we frankly could not picture fitting one or two more people into this space. We were not in the room much, though. Bathroom sink cracked - unexpected in a Marriott.

Everything was great except for the fact that the faucet in the shower came off when I tried to use it so it was really hard to impossible to change the water temp. Sure, we could have changed rooms but we had so much stuff and were so tired we just bore it instead. Good beds and pillows.

This facility provides a clean comfortable room at a reasonable rate.

Very clean and the people were friendly. Would stay again even though the traffic in this area is horrendous.
