Had a later flight and was counting on the shuttle transportation. Called the day before to let them know I would be arriving late and was never told that the shuttle service only ran between 7 am and 7 pm, my flight came in at 9:30 pm so I was out of luck. Took a taxi that ripped me off by feigning being lost and taking wrong turns even though I had […] my GPS on and was telling the driver how to get there. The room it self was okay and the bed comfy but the next day I awoke to find only coffee free and if I wanted any breakfast, even a lousy doughnut, I had to pay for it. Several very good restaurants (and shopping) within 5 mins walking distance of the hotel. Room was very comfortable, and kids enjoyed the pool all day long. Only complaint - and it's a minor one - was the length of time it took to get bedding brought to room to make up the sofa bed for the kids. Why not have the bedding in the room's closet?

I hadn't stayed at this hotel in many years and was pleased to see they have a restaurant now. It's very convenient for breakfast especially. Everything was more modern and the staff was very helpful. It was definitely a pleasant change. I would stay there again.

The Courtyard is close driving distance from the Ft. Lauderdale airport and activities. The hotel is clean, modern, and in a very safe neighborhood. They do not have free breakfast or room service but they do have a bistro that’s open for breakfast and early dinner. For a small latte and oatmeal it cost about $8. They also have a little ‘marketplace’ […] where you can buy snacks and wine any time. Since I was traveling on business, the best part for me was that it was very quiet, located right next to a huge shopping complex with a lot of places to eat, and located about 2 miles from Rt. 95. The young lady at the front desk who checked us in was very nice; however, another person that we dealt with re safety deposit box was rather casual about it. The beds were very uncomfortable - too soft and the A/C was noisy. We appreciated the new look of the lobby.

I was at this hotel once and it was a great experience so I went back. This time they are in the middle of reservations, but the great service was still there. Very central hotel, great shops and restaurants close by.

I would offer this regarding my stay: I think that upon confirming the room the day before the hotel staff should have made me aware of the renovations that were going on. It would not have hindered my stay but communicating that would have been less of a surprise when I arrived. Additionally, I had my room reserved for four individuals. Upon check […] in I asked about the stay for breakfast rate and since that was included with our stay we could have breakfast in the eating area. I was told that yes, my rate included breakfast. However, again they did not communicate with me that it was only applicable to two hotel guests so we were very surprised the next morning when we were asked to pay for the other two guests. Great quiet location, close to shopping, mall, and restaurants. The only thing that I thought that should have been mentioned, was that the lobby is under construction, being completely remodeled. This is the worst Courtyard Hotel I have ever stayed in during my 30 year business travel career. No bathroom, towels, or wash clothes. When they were requested we were told they "were in the dryer", this was a 9 pm at night. We heard nothing further even though at 11 pm I went to the desk to inquire. When I called in the morning they told me they "ran […] out". On the way back to the room, I saw maid's cart with fresh linen and towels on them, and took them my self off the cart as they were never delivered. I spent two nights at the Courtyard by Marriott and I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. The room was very nice and staff was very helpful and friendly. Also loved that is was a few short minutes away from just about everything; The Westfield mall & several great restaurants like Red Lobster & Carabbas

Tub did not drain, bathroom walls had hair and mold on them, maintenance came in to room to inspect tub said they would fix but was no better, changed rooms after the third day - new room tub did not drain and neither did sink. Very friendly staff and just convenient for staying a short stay without any fuss and bother, you ask and you'll get it. except there is no bar or restaurant, but you'll not need to have that in a hotel when you are on holiday. There are loads of places to go and try within a mins. away if you have a car.

We usually stay at the Hampton Inn hotels but decided to give this hotel a try as it seemed very close to the mall on the map. The Hampton Inn is actually closer to the mall. Very nice and safe area. This was our first time driving in the US and we felt very comfortable after a day driving in the area. Our room was on the second floor and we had an […] ok view of the area and it was nice having a balcony. The shower was lovely. The room had a musty smell at first but this disappeared (or we got used to it) after the first day. It would be nice to have a fridge and/or microwave in the room instead of having to go to reception to use the microwave. I thought the "The Market" was a little deceptive on the website. It seemed like a 24 hr shop but it wasn't. On the whole we enjoyed our trip and the hotel. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. I loved everything, especially the staff at the front desk who were so attentive and polite as well as welcoming. They handled a complaint about noisy teens quite well!

This is a clean and well maintained hotel that is twenty minutes from the beach and airport. Many restaurants and shopping are within a couple of miles from the hotel.

THE HOTEL IN VERY CONVENIENCE FOR THOSE WHO WANT TO GO SHOPPING , OR IF HAVE TO WAIT FOR A CRUISE

The hotel is very near to Broward Mall and accessible to Sawgrass Mills Mall within 10 minutes or so. There are numerous shopping and eateries around the hotel that can keep you quite occupied. Quite accessible to 595 as well which links to you to everywhere in 15 minutes. The beds are comfortable and the are very clean. I'll stay there again.

Courtyard by Marriott Fort Lauderdale Plantation is a very nice, clean hotel. I didnt have much interaction with the staff but nighttime security is good! I would stay here again and I'm pretty fussy about where I stay..
