Excellent for the price it was. Nice, clean neighborhood of Ann Arbor near the North Campus of UofM. Buy the room for double beds because the price is about the same but more roomy. That is what I did - alone. Free room phone calls around all the USA ! I liked the simple breakfast too - it was all fresh and ok tasting even if it came out of bags...Danishes were great ( I do not usually even eat pastry). The only negative I found was that the walls are not the thickest! Ask to live in the 3rd floor and in the court yard (front side). While in town try Red Hawk's fajita salad, and Olga's Kitchen! ( I used to live here for school in the 90's and they have been around since!)

The suite was one of the best rooms we've been to. Very big, with a kitchen, sofa, desk, good bed with prober linen, nice bathroom and lots of space. The area was next to a highway but still was very quiet and calm. Pretty little place. The lobby was great and the breakfast there very good (fruit, woffles, scrambled eggs, bagels, muffins, yogurt etc.). We have nothing to complain about this place and would definitely come back again!

I was impressed by the room (with two large flat screen TV's) and the quality of service. Everybody was really friendly. However, three out of four lamps in the room did not work, also the air condition was inoperative. A call to the bell desk brought a technician to my room in a minute or so (very fast) and these things were fixed. The complimentary breakfast was modest, just tee/coffee, some muffins etc. The location could not be better. Both Greektown and the GM Renaissance Center are just around the block.

This hotel was undergoing renovations...which is OK, but several of us, myself included, got flat tires in their parking lot. Seems like the construction crew isn't doing a very good job of keeping their garbage contained.

There was no hair dryer in the room. That's something I see in every other hotel chain I've stayed in. My wife didnt bring a hairdryer because there is always one in the room. The coffee mugs by the room's coffee pot were not clean either day. We used the glasses by the ice bucket instead. There was no local sports channel. ie. Fox Sports Detroit .. "Not a fan"
I'm not usually terribly picky about hotels but I really didn't like this place. The walls are paper-thin, the bed is really uncomfortable (you can feel the springs), and the pillows are a lumpy mess. My heat was not working the first night, I woke up freezing cold at 3 AM. I would echo other reviewers that the Lebanese restaurant nearby (Ollie's) […] is outstanding, though... some of the best I've ever had. Lisätietoja
"Not a restful experience"
The walls were paper thin and the hallway doors have large gaps at the bottom making any and every noise in the hallway come straight into the room. The mattress was reasonably comfortable, but the pillows were tiny and very uncomfortable. The comforter was extremely light which, when mixed with a heating system that was inconsistent at best (in multiple […] rooms), made for a really cold sleeping experience. Lastly, despite the indications on the hotel's website and on hotels.com, there was no in-room wifi, only wired access with a short cord and an odd desk. At least it was free... Nice, clean hotel. Comfortable bed and linens. Shower pressure was poor, and flat screen tv had a problem with the picture we couldn't figure out how to fix, but otherwise it was fine. "Maintenance needs work.."
The staff and the hotel were fine, however, the internet didnt work, they never replaced any shampoo, soap, etc and there was a plastic ring from a milk jug on the floor in the hallway my whole stay. The worst part is that I suspect that the sheets were not changed prior to my arrival. I didnt notice this until the AM when I looked at the other bed […] also. So I took the sheets and threw them on the floor. I believe the same sheets were put back on my bed. So either they dont replace the sheets or the sheets they do replace with are wrinkled and appear to have been used. Lisätietoja
"Good vs Bad"
The room was very comfortable and clean. Stayed at this location because of a function scheduled for the week-end. Housekeeping decided to clean public restrooms at the same time as over 50 women were served their lunch and would not let anyone use the facilities. Many people were using computers and staff did not want to share access to "free" internet […] with more than one person to conference room. Room capacity may be rated at 45 people, but could not accomodate 25 people with all of their scrapbooking supplies and need of more space than was allotted. Nice rooms, close to shopping area. Was a little far from the Joe Louis arena which was where we were going and why we were staying.

We were in detroit for a conference and chose the hotel based on location and cost. The room was average...the staff were great. Worth the money.

We were very impressed with the rooms and the service that we received. The price was amazing for the quality of the stay. The only complaint- the breakfast is not complimentary- but it was worth the extra money, it was a good breakfast. Will definitely stay again!
