Hotelli oli helppo löytää ja katettu ilmainen parkkipaikka oli hyvä. Bank Atlantic Center ja Sawgrass Mills kävelymatkan päässä.Todella siisti hotelli ja tilava huone. Varusteena mikroaaltouuni oli positiivinen yllätys. Sisääntulon yhteydessä sai ilmaiset suklaacookiet! :) Viivyimme hotellissa vain yhden yön, joten emme ehtineet hyödyntää kaikkia hotellin mahdollisuuksia, esim allasosastoa ja fitness centeriä.

Olimme hotellin asiakkaina maaliskuussa 2012 1,5 viikkoa. Hotellissa tehtiin tuolloin pientä pintaremonttia, joka ei kuitenkaan haitannut asumistamme ollenkaan. Lastenallas ja tenniskenttä olivat pois käytöstä, ovia ja ulkoalueita maalattiin, eivät haitanneet menoa. Aamupala sisältyi hotellin hintaan ja aamiaisaika oli 8-11, joskus ovet avattiin myöhemmin (eräänä aamuna 9.05), mutta aamupala oli runsas ja syötävää. Huone oli siisti, joka päivä huone oli päiväsaikaan siivottu. Parveketta huoneessamme ei ollut, en tiedä oliko oikeastaan kenelläkään joilla oli merinäköala huoneesta? Yhtenä iltana pikkukeittiömme lattialla oli 3 torakkaa, muuten saimme olla rauhassa ötököiltä. Hissejä oli kolme (hotellissa oli yli 10 kerrosta) ja hissit olivat kovassa käytössä, ja siksipä ehkä melko hitaat. Allasalue oli siisti (paitsi yhtenä päivänä kun pari poikaa kantoi aamupalansa altaalle eivätkä korjanneet roskiaan pois...) Allasalueelta pääsi rannalle, mutta portti oli lukossa ja takaisin hotellialueelle pääsy oli siitä kiinni oliko allasalueella joku ystävällinen joka avasi portin. Allasalueella oli myös baari, josta sai juotavaa ja pientä purtavaakin päivisin. Hotellin alakerrassa oli pari pikkukauppaa, ja hinnat tietysti sen mukaiset. Seuraavaksi lähimpiin kauppoihin oli jonkin verran kävelymatkaa, bussilla tosin pääsi helposti ja halvalla mm. South Beachille ja toiseen suuntaan ostarille (Aventura Mall) ja halvempiin päivittäistavarakauppoihin. Alueella on paljon espanjankielisiä, mutta pärjäsimme myös englannin kielellä. Hotellissa oli ympärivuorokautinen vartijapäivystys. Auton sai vuokrattua hotellilla sijaitsevasta autonvuokraamosta. Ajo Miamissa oli melko vauhdikkaan näköistä, joten me tyydyimme ajelemaan bussilla edestakaisin :) Alakerrasta löytyi tourist-info, joka järjesti asiakkaita erilaisille retkille, halvemmalla kuin varsinaiset tour-paikat. Nettiä pääsi myös käyttämään samassa paikassa hintaan 2 USD/ ½ h. Hotelli oli öiseen aikaan hiljainen, sai nukuttua, kun ta

The location is great if you like an active night life, and don't mind some loud neighbors. Parking is extra (if there is room) and this hotel definitely needs some updating in just about every aspect. Service runs from very accommodating to completely indifferent. YMMV

The room was not clean and smelled like cat pee. View out window was of a washed and dryer which people used at all hours. Washing machine was not balanced therefore during spin cycle it sounded like it was going to vibrate right through our hotel room window. Asked to be moved, but would not accommodate. Very unpleasant stay!
This hotel was great, especially for the price we got it at. The only thing bad was the pool closed super early and they tack on a parking permit charge to park in there own garage. Other then that A+ on this hotel

"Decent hotel: little run-down"
The hotel is pretty decent - in a great neighborhood. But the condition of the hotel (including rooms) was a little disappointing - it's old and run-down. Rooms are very clean, though.
Room was dirty cobwebs etc.. Husband and I slept on top of comforters. Thank goodness we had throws with us. Tub was dirt drain sitting on side of tub didn't shower and bathroom door looked like it had vomit on it. Next to noisy neighbours had security that did nothing about noise. Will pay extra for clean quiet room next visit not worth price.

Although the hotel provided me with a bed and a roof over my head, there were some minor inconveniences that were never addressed during my stay and I never received any response back from hotel management. My concerns were taken down on a piece of paper and dissappeared into "La-La Land". 1. The Wake-Up Call service you set up from your hotel room […] was off by (1) hour and was never fixed or addressed by managment. I would set it for 5AM, I 'd receive my wake-up call at 6AM. 2. "great location but old hotel"
was very pleased with the location and nearby restaurants and shops. but was very disapppointed that this hotel is much older than the pictures show. Plus our room did not look much like the picture on the Hotel.com website. All the floors were tile, no carpet, and our feet were black shortly after walking around in our room. needless to say we wore […] shoes after that discovery. the bathroom and shower was pleasant, the bed comfortable, but unhappy with the potential dirty room feel. The room I was expecting should have been simular to the pictures shown on the web site is was NOT the case. Room required some cleanliness and a freash coat of paint. Was NOT remodeled as per web pictures.

It was a good stay but the area looked a little deserted new businesses coming soon

I was very satisfy with the hotel, however, we were informed that we were going to have a shuttle service and when we got there, we were told that shuttle service was not provided by the hotel - Ramada Inn and we had to pay for a cab to the hotel and from the hotel to airport. We had to spend additional $70 dollars we didn't budget for.

"Ramada Downtown Hollywood"
I had a great experience here at the hotel. The entire staff was helpful and I enjoyed the sights, from the surrounding restaurants, to the beautiful open air courtyard, this is somewhere I would stay again.
Courtyard style older hotel with a few leaks and dents hesr and there. Prob gets loud when weather permits use of the pool. 40+ restaurants and shops within a few blocks. Great cigar bar right accross the street! Overall it was fine - i was out on business all day , came back to park and change. Off to eat, shop on foot, cigar for dessert, then to bed. "Price is higher than condition"
It was a business trip for 2 days. this hotel is in holloywood downtown close to beach. Old hotel building with parking garage stink with smell of waste water dripping from sewer line. rooms are ok. Force of water in shower was very low and hard to get hot water for a complete shower time. Surrounding neighbourhood at night walk does not make feel safe. We only stayed for 2 nights but found all the staff very helpful and friendly. If we come to Ft. Lauderdale again we will consider staying at the Ramada again.
"Downtown Hollywood"
I have stayed at this hotel 3 times, and each time my stay has been excellent. The hotel has a great location in downtown Hollywood. There are lots of different restaurants and bars right outside your door. Hollywood Beach is about 2 miles away and the local trolley will take you there for $1 from downtown. The hotel has a great pool and workout facility. […] The rooms are always clean and the rates are pretty cheap for the area. the only thing I dislike here is that the hotel charges you an extra $5.00 a night to park your car. "Ramada Hollywood Florida"
A recommended hotel close to the centre of town. If you want to go to the beach area then this is a 45 minute walk, although a public trolley service runs every 30 minutes Wednesday to Sunday, stopping close to the hotel. Cheerful and helpful main desk staff. Parking is available at a small cost. Easy access from I95 interstate.

After being in the room for a couple of hours barefoot, my feet were black! The rest of the room was pretty sceavy too! Breakfast included? A couple of hard boiled eggs, toast and some lame French toast that was like cardboard. Location was fine though....

Stayed in a suite, the view of Harrison Street was good. Parked the car and never used it the whole weekend. This hotel fit the bill for everything we wanted to do for the weekend (dinner, club to celebrate the New Year, dessert and breakfast) were all there within the block. Would definitely stay at this hotel again.

"Orange bowl stay"
The people were nice. The hotel was in a good location and close to the stadium, beach and had several eating places. Nice town in Hollywood.
"Great for the Rate"
We have stayed here more than once and like it. We have family in the area and usually stay here when we go visit. King room is very spacious and contemporary with a dining table, frig, micro-wave, desk and lounge chair , bed is very comfortable and housekeeping keeps it spotless. Excellent downtown location with many bars, restaurants, shops, nightlife […] and a park all within short (as in right there) walking distance. Beach is 2 minutes by car, 6 by bike. Nice pool and tiki bar and continental breakfast from 6:30 to 10:00, is nothing fancy but you wont go hungy or thirsty and the coffee is EXCELLENT! Only not good thing is the parking garage is very tight so a full size SUV or long luxury car would be a hassle getting in and out and there is also an alley with dumpsters in the back that you get a wiff of when you park. I told them about it but they said that those are not their dumpsters and they have complained also so just be aware of that if you go. Once your out of the garage its fine. This hotel is dated and could use an update on aesthetics but it does have charm and character as well that creates a nice ambiance. The location is great as it is close to the beach and in an area that has character with dining, deserts and bars near by. The area felt very safe to walk about and was comfy. I didn't like the charge for parking but in […] that area, parking would have been difficult anywhere so $6 fee for a day wasn't too bad. Metered parking for the area would have cost so much more. This hotel is terrible! They must have had a maid strike.. no sheets. Noisy bad, bad, bad all night. Wouldn't stay there again.

If you are looking to stay somewhere cheap, that's close to everywhere and somewhat decent this is the right place. Even though it has that "Red Roof Inn" feeling when you first walk in, the room was actually clean. I would stay here again.

although this was not what i expected and it was small, the staff where courteous and kind even at 3am when i finally arrived. They where helpful and made a very difficult evening/morning worth forgetting the unbelieveble journey that brought me here.
