Extended Stay America Huntsville-US Space and Rocket Center - Huntsville

Slight musky smell in room it needed airing out. After Ac was on a while and we had went in and out a little wasn't noticeable any more. Otherwise room was exceptionally clean.

Good value. Generally well maintained, cleanliness good, staff courteous and helpful.

I chose the cheaper hotel! My former job requird quite a bit of travel; therefore, I have stayed in many hotels. This was a two night trip for my husband and I to get away. I chose Extened Stay America for the cheaper price and the kitchenette. I figured we could cook a couple meals in the room and enjoy the extra time together. I should have paid for […] the more expensive hotel right next door!!! The bed was horrible and the pillows lumpy. There was one chair ( a recliner) so when watching the small out dated tv with 18 channels someone had to sit on the bed. Insult to injury... Something in the room made me sick. I couldn't walk in without losing the ability to breath. The only response from hotel staff was "oh, I'm sorry". The only people that could benefit from this room are out of town construction workers on a budget who could sleep on concrete after their long day of work! Like you I was also lured in by the great price for this hotel. But in the end was very disappointed. Even at the price you still don't get your moneys worth. First, the noise. We had a constant tapping noise happening in the wall of our room. Annoying but somewhat tolerable. Secondly, cigarette smoke. Even though this was non-smoking suite, whenever […] we turned the bathroom light on (which activated the ceiling fan) our room was filled with the smell of cigarette smoke...Thirdly, noise! It was like there was no sound barrier between your bed and the parking lot. Finally, my girl friend found a roach in the kitchen! Eventually we ask to be moved but upon checking looking at the new room, with the old style tv, an even more poignant cigarette smoke smell, and dingy(er) looking room we decided to stick it out. By-the-way, after telling front desk about the issues to get new room there was NO apology, no sympathy, or anything! I liked this hotel very much! Rates were very affordable. The only problem was the bed was really hard, not enough pillows or blankets. I will be bringing extras if we stay again.

Conviently located right off the interstate. Check-in and check-out was simple and the kitchen w/ dishes were clean and ready for use. Just your basic 'no frills' hotel room. The room was clean, short of stain on a towel. The bed & pillows were both hard, lumpy & VERY uncomfortable. The TV was an old 19" CRT type, but did have a good selection of cable channels. My room had a mini kitchen! Everyone is very nice. Also as a 22 year old women staying alone I felt very safe.

It was great would do it again when ever I'm in town again.

For the price this hotel was great. Traveling to see my son play hockey and needed to keep costs down. I definitely would stay again.

Clean rooms. Had problem with internet connection so would not recommend it if need to be connected. No access in lobby to print out boarding passes. However other than that would recommend this place for convenience. Hotel staff was also very accomodating.

Great access off of I-565. Good, basic accommodations. Room was clean, neat and comfortable. No frills and not plush, but perfect place to lay your head and take a shower!

pros - it was cheap, close to the army base, and had a full kitchen cons - lady at front desk took 5 minutes to get me checked in because she was on her OWN cell phone talking, then the key didnt work, there was always creepy men standing by the elevator with beers that made me run to my door and lock it quick since i'm a young female traveling alone, […] the fridge smelt horrible, there was hairs left in the tub, BED WAS WORSE THAN THE FLOOR...my butt fell asleep sitting on it, there was old water leak spots on the ceiling above the tub and the worst part is that the walls were the thinnest of any hotel i've ever stayed at. the people above me sounded like they were 500 pounds a piece, i could hear every footstep all night, the people next to me on one side getting their freak on, and outside a lady on her phone for an hour cussing out someone and the neighbors to my other side hitting the walls at her. I heard at least 4 cops a night, atleast 3 planes fly by a night because it was close to the airport exit, motorcycles racing every night, and people in the parking lot reviving up their engines 24/7. I stayed there 3 nights and I had blood shot eyes every day because of no sleep. I will not be staying there again. I would rather pay more and not be cranky when I wake up... Lisätietoja

The staff is very friendly and the rooms are clean, but if you order a queen bed don't be surprised when you have a double bed in the room. The room is a queen suite, but it comes with a double bed which is misleading. If you want a bed bigger than a double you have to go with the king bed which is actually a king bed.

They charge to clean the rooms daily, they charge for wifi, and the rooms were not clean. If I had not prepaid for the room I would have stayed elsewhere. The bathrooms were awful.

this was such a bad place that was dirty amd smelled horrible that we actually checked out 2 hours after checking in and left to stay at another hotel and hope to get a refund of the second night!

This hotel was VERY close to the US Space and Rocket Center and very reasonably priced. We were picking up our child from Space Camp so didn't want to spend a lot since we would be in the room less than 10 hours. The only negative was that the bed was not comfortable. Based on the hotels.com customer reviews, we were surprised to find our first room to be very dirty. After talking with the front desk, we were able to switch rooms. The room we had originally been given was not remodeled. The second room had been remodeled. Big difference between the two! Very accommodating employees. The room was very clean and close to the space center. The pet deposit was a little high.

Nothing spectaclar about this one but what is there to be expected about a hotel in huntsville. clean room and all the appliances worked. thats all i needed.

Room was ok, bedding was just ok. The room had an odd odor, but for the price and only being in the room for 8 hrs it was all I needed. If i was planning on staying several nights and needed to spend a portion of the day in the room I would not go here.

The hotel was convenient to where we were going, fairly clean, some unpleasant odor, front desk very nice and friendly, but THAT WAS THE WORST BED I EVER SLEPT IN, (whoever sold them that bed CHEATED THEM.....)

Location - Excellent! close to University- got a tour; Rocket Center-spent half-day; 8 miles to airport; 6 miles to downtown. Went grocery shopping for breakfast and snacks - made food in the in-room full kitchen (that was cheap). We even did laundry before we home after a week of travel - nice to get home and not have to worry about that.

Just used it for one night but would be great for and extended stay(hey they should...). Definately worth what I paid. The other hotel I considered was twice what I paid. Room could have been a bit cleaner but I would return.

My husband and I were so surprised by the size and quality of our room! We got an excellent deal. The staff was so friendly and personable. We have stayed at this hotel a few times sometimes with our children sometimes without. I believe they are under renovation, but you can not tell they are very friendly and well maintained.

For one of the least expensive hotels available a good value. clean, friendly, not five star but worth more than the cost!!

Great room for the money, much better than I expected. First time in this chain, but won't be the last.

The staff at Extended Stay was very friendly. Will be in the area more and would stay there again. The staff even offered a non smoking room which was very nice since we actually wanted a non smoking but none were available when reservations were made.

My Stay at this Extended Stay America Huntsville-US Space and Rocket Center was the best southern hospitality I ever had! Hotel was great and very affordable. I have stayed in many hotels and this one was better than some of those. Water pressure for shower was awesome. Plenty of room and staff was very very friendly. Convenient location! Would def recommend.
