Palvelee hyvin asiaansa, jos joutuu yöpymään Seattlen kentällä. Pienoisbussi vie ja tuo hotellin ja kentän välillä. Sisältä hieman vanhahtava 70-luvun tyylinen.Lentomelua.

Varasin huoneen huomaamatta, että huoneissa ei ole omaa kylpyhuonetta. Asia harmitti kunnes pääsin hotelliin: todella kivat, modernit huoneet ja riittävästi suihku- ja WC-tiloja vaikka yhteisiä olivatkin. Aula ja yhteiset tilat oli sisustettu kivoilla vintage-jutuilla ja alakerran aamiaishuoneessa oli koko ajan tarjolla teeä ja hedelmiä. Lisäksi löytyi muita juomia ja pientä syötävää automaateista ja pesukone asukkaiden käyttöön. Aamiainen oli riittävä: jogurttia, hedelmiä, vohveleita, paahtoleipää, mehua, kahvia. Ympäristö oli täynnä pieniä ravintoloita ja baareja, joten valinnanvaraa ruoan ja juoman suhteen löytyi. Kaikki nähtävyydet kävelymatkan päässä. Liikennettä oli reilusti, saattaa haitata herkkäunista.

We have not complaints what so ever from the hotel. Breakfast was superb, make your own waffles, to erder omelettes, etc!! Pool was tidy and kids just loved it. Rooms were spacious, we had two king size beds it the room and we still had enough space. Shuttle service to the Seatac and near by locations worked without troubles! We highly recommend it!

"Perfect location"
I've stayed at the U. Inn several times. I was disappointed with this stay only because my room was in the older part of the Inn, which I have never stayed in (it was a dull and drabby room). I lived with it since I'm only there to sleep. Love this hotel. Love the location. Friendly Staff, Clean room. The only thing I was a little disappointed in was the mattress. Large fluffly pillows, but one look at the bed made me think that the mattress may not be the best one i've slept on. I was right. I like to stay at the University Inn when I have Dr. appointments at the Univeristy Hospital or at Harborview. The parking is free. There is a shuttle across the street that connects to the Hospitals. There are good restraunts within walking distance. The rooms are large and clean. There is a fridge and a microwave. We had read the comments about this hotel and expected a clean but worn down hotel. Instead we found a modern hotel with the friendliest staff I have ever met. Nice, clean and very pleased as we had a Dr. appointment which was right across the street. We had stayed there one other time and the staff was very friendly and helpfull. The only down side is that the breakfast bar dosen't really have much to offer.

The hotel was nicer than I expected. Clean, friendly and well maintained. The problem was that the University area was much less bustling than I had hoped. This hotel is a great choice if you need to be in that area, otherwise I suggest downtown. Just more to do.

We could not be more PLEASED by the amazing service we received at the University Inn. Not only was the hotel perfectly located to where we needed to be but the SERVICE was beyond compare. The staff was the nicest hotel staff we have seen in a long time. They were extremely accomodating and kind.

Shuttle to UW in <10 mins. Wlaked from Medical center back to hotel in 20 mins. 5 min walk to Uiniversity Ave which is packed with cheap to modertely priced dining. Would reccomend to any visitor to UW.

"Great Hotel, minus one thing"
We had a great stay here. The proximity to the University was great since we were in town for a college game. Free parking, and a great price were perfect. My only complaint was the pillows were terrible. Maybe we were unlucky but they didn't make it a great nice sleep.
"Nice stay, tricky location"
The hotel was a bit dated, but not necessarily in a bad way. It had a certain retro charm to it, especielly in the looby. The room was a bit small as others have noted, but not overly so. The bathroom floor creaked when we walked on it as a floor might in an older home. The shower was roomy and the rest of the orom was comfortable. At first I was concerned […] about the amount of traffic noise from Roosevelt, but it wasn't a problem at night or in the early morning. The staff was friendly and the continental breakfast was fairly basic. The one nice surprise was the pineapple cupcakes every night from 3 - 7. The location on Roosevelt was a little tricky depending on where you need to go. Since it is one way, getting back up to the U-District can be a pain, especially in heavy traffic. To get to I-5, cut across Roosevelt to 42nd then turn right on 7th and take it up to 45th. Thankfully it’s easy enough to get *to* the hotel from anywhere in the U-District or I-5, though it’s easy to miss the entrance to the parking area. Definitely check out the breakfast at the Portage Bay Cafe (right next door) while staying here. We had a pleasant stay and would stay here again. Lisätietoja

Spent 4 nights here. Very comfortable and clean. Convenient for parents of UW students moving into apartments or dorms in the area. Breakfast buffet was decent and healthy. Parking lot filled up quickly and if I returned to the hotel late in the evening, I sometimes had to find street parking. That would be my only complaint. The Hotel University Inn is near the University of Washington, restaurants as well as bus routes. It is convinient for visitors ot the University.

Our stay at the University Inn lived up to the wonderful reviews on hotels.com. The staff was exceptional and the location was perfect for our purpose (UH vs. UW football game). However, the most surprising thing was that in this day of being nickel and dimed for every little thing, is that just about everything was complimentary. Continental breakfast, […] shuttle to downtown and other key locations, Keurig coffee w/ Tully's K-cups, self-service laundry, wireless Internet, bottled water, and even parking--all included in the room price! "University Inn...not what it's cracked up to be."
I thought I was getting a very decent hotel for what I paid...however....the pool was tiny and hardly gets any sunshine...The room was very small and cramped. (I'm not sure if all the rooms are the same) It being a hot summer day/night during our stay, we used the air conditioner... but it didn't seem to regulate the temperature so we kept having to […] get up and turn it off and on...since we would freeze and then later get too hot. The furniture and bedding was definitely pleasing to the eye, but for a summer night, the comforter was way too warm...so needless to say we did not sleep well. The TV needs to be replaced because the picture kept looking funny...(it wasn't the cable, definitely the tv). The breakfast was acceptable. I give the hotel some credit for trying to make updates...you can tell it is an old hotel that they tried to upgrade with paint and new furniture, but at least our room needs a new AC and a new tv. "The special extras make up for the minuses"
Stayed here the day before the Seattle to Portland bike ride - chaos! But the staff at the University Inn handled it quite well. Welcome cupcakes, Keurig in the room, eco friendly water bottles, and quirky artwork made for a nice stay. The fact that they started breakfast earlier than scheduled for all the riders was a nice plus. Downside was definitely […] the bedding - loud sheets, beds that are too soft or too hard. We were in town for Seattle Rock n Roll race and this was a last minute purchase that I do not regret. The room was great and the beds were really comfortable. Parking was not a problem. The surrounding area provided easy access to UW and I-5. We stayed at this Hotel because our daughter had appointments at Seattle Children's Hospital. It was a very short driving distance to the Hospital and the clinic was across the street. Three of my co-workers and I shared a room at the University Inn and were pleasantly surprised. The room was plenty big for all of us (we had to share beds, but were already agreeable to this), the room had two vanities, one inside and one outside the toilet/shower room, and the hotel offered a complimentary breakfast! "University Inn staff were excellent"
The hotel was convenient to the UW Medical Center, which was my reason for travel, and the staff were very helpful from before I checked in through the entire 2 days. The room was nice, clean, and comfortable. The evening and morning snacks were nicely done. If I have the need to be in the neighborhood again I would use the University Inn again.
