My wife and i stayed for 3 days over the weekend and the staff was friendly and made our stay comfortable. It was I've of the best priced hotels on the area and MOST important it was CLEAN!! And it didn't have that old locket room smell! We would definitely stay again.

The check in process was quick and easy. The room was very nicy and the bed was comfortable. Excluding the outdated exterior and reception area, I was very pleased with the stay.

The stay was pretty good except for the breakfast. There wasn't much to the breakfast by the time I went down around 7:30 except some hard boiled eggs and a few muffins. They were out of coffee and I had to head out walking to find something to eat. Thankfully there is a Tim Horton's nearby. I was surprised to find that the hotels in Michigan are all smoke free, which is long overdue; however, the smoking area being just outside the main entrance was disappointing. Having a sheltered designated smoking area away from the building would improve the appearance of the entrance and make arrival and departure of the majority of guests more pleasant. […] The overall condition of this hotel is a bit on the older and grimier side. Because of the non-smoking law, I'm assuming that there were many more people coming and going in the halls. The interior walls are not well insulated. Noise in the rooms is the result. I stayed 2 nights. The second day, when I returned to my room, my key did not work, as the front desk clerk, when checking me in, activated the key for only the first night. Frustrating! Lisätietoja

Older hotel but clean. Could use an upgrade. Breakfast bar isn't that good but it's advertised to be limited. It served the purpose for our needs.

Very nice, room was clean and the people friendly. Nice breakfast. No gym, but they provide a day pass for a local gym.

My stay was very pleasurable, quiet, room was clean. The staff was very helpful and friendly. I found the guest laundry a pleasant surprise. Breakfast was good.

The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The price was fair and reasonable. The location was perfect and close to everything. I would stay here again when needed.

Just needed to have a place to sleep and to eat breakfast in the morning. and La Quinta was a great place. Rooms were nice, and clean. It was in a nice area of town. Breakfast was delicious and fresh. Everything was just what I needed!

The hotel itself was not in the best cleanliness condition. The drain in the tub was very slow and the shower curtains were dirty. Towels were very thin. They did clean the room everyday and were attentive to our needs. It was close to my daughter's house so that is why we stayed. Many stores and restaurants all around . Toilet clogged in first room and night manager helped move us at 11:30 to an upgraded room. It is definitely a value hotel - no extras or frills at all - but the staff makes up for alot.

The bed was very comfortable and the shower was wonderful. The continental breakfast was very satisfying. The staff were friendly and very competent and responded immediately to any request.

This place was way beyond our expectations. Most comfortable bed and pillows I've ever slept on in a hotel. We will never stay anywhere else now. People were so friendly and rates were fantastic. We were even able to keep our dog in our room and there was a place to walk him. Thanks!

The hotel was great, once our catastrophe was resolved. The hotel changed our room type from 2 doubles to a king. With a family of 4, that was not going to work. Luckily, someone came in and cancelled a room while I was trying to find another one. Not sure I would take the chance of staying here again.

The first room was in a hallway which smelled like smoke eventhough this was a no smoking hotel. The room was not vaccumed properly. I found a bug behind the dresser and it looked like no one had cleaned behind there in awhile. The second room was better but the blanket was dirty and ripped...The microwave and fridge was very old and dated and needed […] cleaning. I wqas given a new blanket but they were not very new and the hoptel needs to update them in my opinon. The bathroom was at least clean...I smelled smoke on the second floor . The elevator was dirty and needed cleaning. Overall it was ok for A NIGHT STAY but i would not stay any longer in the future unless i was stranded ... Lisätietoja

I have stayed in this hotel many times. Great location for my needs. Its sad to see it deteriorate. House keeping the worst. Broken ironing board. Splatters on the walls,vacuming not done very well dirty mirrors. Yuk!

I frequently travel on business and have equipment that i have to take with me. For security purposes and company policy, i have to keep my equipment in my room and not leave it in my car overnight. It is very frustrating to arrive at an hotel and be told that the elevatror is not working. I was only here for a night. The bed was comfortable. The shower was decent. The room was pretty small, but that's great for a short stay. The hotel was pet friendly - my dog enjoyed her stay. I chose this hotel because of favorable reviews but I was disappointed. The room first appeared to be acceptable but on closer look, it was not really clean. It had been dusted around the middle of the furniture and the edges of everything had lots of dust. I decided to clean the entire top of the counter in the dressing area and also cleaned behind […] the ice bucket. The white cloth I used was filthy. I know the blankets do not get washed between every guest but the one on my bed had long black hairs and had so many holes, stains and rips, I went down to the front desk and asked for a clean one. I was brought a clean, fairly nice one by a maid with a filthy smock on. The bed, pillows and furnishings were nice and the area and location is very good. I'm very particular about how clean a hotel is. La Quinta was clean and the service was wonderful. Great people at the front desk and the free breakfast was a plus. The hotel is close to restaurants, shopping centers, the highway and the Canton Ikea. I would stay here again.

I live only 35-40 miles from this hotel so as a general rule I have no need to even consider staying there. However circumstances had me in the area on both a Mon. night and Tues. morning and I knew Mon. would be a long day even before I got to the area for my early evening business. I didn't pay much attention to the place but it served my limited needs well and I have no complaints about my relatively short stay (barely 10 hours). Overall we were very happy with our stay. The check-in was super fast, which was appreciated as we arrived at 3 am after the UM/ND football game. The room was very clean and ample in size. The bed was clean and very comfortable. We do have a few suggestions though. Please consider adding the bowed shower curtain rods that so many hotels are using. Nice place, but very disappointed that we could'nt watch a tigers ballgame in their home town. Also the tv reception kept coming in and out. Fox sports Detroit isn't that expensive.

the hotel was just off freeway and it was quiet for street noise. Also it accamidated my truck and trailer not problem.It had hd tv with hd channel was cool.

We have stayed at this hotel twice now, and both visits have been great. The hotel is conveniently located to I275, and the personnel here are friendly and efficient. The breakfast has a great variety. Waffles are delicious. There are many restaurants, shopping centers, and gas stations located close to the hotel.

The hotel staff was courteous and helpful. The hotel and my room was not very clean. I've stayed here a few times in the past but am not likely to revisit.

We spent 2 nights there and we never had our room cleaned. The cleaning lady handed us an extra towel and marked our room clean...It WASN'T. When we told the front dest personel, they told us our room was marked clean. It was not touched nor were the beds ever made. Also, by the main elevator we noticed glass on the floor that looks like it came from […] a broken glass beer bottle. It was there throughout our 2 day stay. The Staff were all kind and friendly. The room was clean and the beds were comfortable. The only complaint I have is it is being billed as a smoke free hotel, but the hallways smelled like smoke.
