When I opened the door, the room looked made-up. I set my things down and went immediately out to meet up with friends. Later that night when I arrived back, I noticed a dirty towel thrown under the sink area and the toilet had feces in the bowl ... it had not been cleaned... and there was no soap or shampoo. Rooms clean but the smell of cigarette smoke mixed with cheap airfreshener was overwhelming

One clerk at desk, waited for check-in. The hotels.com registration was in their system no problem. 3rd floor room. Hallway in 3rd floor smelled strongly of carpet fresh, but there was little to no odor in room. Tiny, stall-like bathroom. Wireless internet. Adequate, basic breakfast included. Very good value. Clean room. Friendly staff. Breakfast included. Only drawback is thin walls and ceiling. It's not very well soundproofed.

The smell of smoke was a real deterrent to us. Walls were thin and so were the towels! The breakfast was terrific and coffee was HOT! Beds were very comfy.

This hotel was sufficient. I would not recommend it for more than one night or two at most. Continental breakfast was included; again nothing fancy. Cereal, fruit, coffee, muffins, and waffles. The microwave did, however, set off the fire alarm at 5:30am!

The only thing that bothered me was the smell in the room. I asked for a non smoking room. When I opened the door, it smelled very much like a smoking room. People that I went out with even asked me if I started smoking again because my clothes had been hanging in the room. Cheap price and comfort

Okay... -third floor is still "smoking", which means any non-smokers have to be on floors where they are "stomped upon" by the floor above. -rooms are trashy-looking:..doors falling apart, texture off the ceiling, stains -breakfast is extremely basic... -noise:if you come on the wrong night, like a Saturday, forget it. You will not sleep at all. Overall: […] this is one of the less expensive of the major hotels....but in all honesty, you can get a hamptoninn for the same rate if you press a bti, and hampton's are a TON nicer. Good low-cost alternative - Hotel was clean, warm, decent beds, great flat screen tv, friendly staff, responsive to requests. The room we were in had a large patch on the ceiling from a repair, the window didn't completely shut, and the public areas and outside of the hotel all showed signs of wear and age. Very convenient to two major highways. Modern, clean,well kept rooms. Nothing bad to say. Price was very good.

Hotel was comfortable and clean. Many, many restaurants, shopping centers, malls in the immediate area. Chose this hotel as it is right off Mass Turnpike and very easy to find. Would stay there again and would recommend to anyone traveling in this area of central Mass.

This hotel like all La Quinta's that I have stayed at have quality and comfort equaling hotels that cost more.

The hotel had no power or heat or breakfast in the morning and offered no compensation for the inconvience!

We found the location to be ideal for our needs. I had read other reviews before going and yes, they were true...there is a very bad 'smokers smell' when you walk through the Hotel doors. you notice it immediately. The smell could be caused by all the people who smoke their cigarettes right outside thefront doors and it blows in to lobby. They ought […] to not allow smoking there....it stinks! I started to grow concerned when checking in, as the lobby looked more like a bus station waiting room than a hotel lobby, based on the clientele checking in. The elevator smelled very nasty. The room was not very clean at all. Trash from the previous guest remained in the wastebasket. Hallway had a pretty high volume of traffic until after 2:00am.

I needed a bed and a shower. Both were very good. Cleanliness of the room could have been better. Towels were horrible little rags. I'm not asking for plush, just regular towels. Breakfast was OK. I would stay again due to location.l

Clean room, comfortable beds. Only complaint was that although the room was a non-smoking room, the hallway was so smokey that we had to put a towel under the door. My hair and clothes smelled like smoke. Wouldn't recommend to anyone highly sensitive to cigarette smoke.

I usually stay in Auburn when I'm attending a show in Worcester because it's much cheaper and not that far (few exits down the highway) home. This hotel is all you need. Very comfy bed, clean, tall shower.

Not too bad for one night stay. Rooms are clean, The bath/shower combo is okay. The towels are a little scratchy. Upon arrival (at 11pm), the rooms were FREEZING with 60F set on the ac. The breakfast was a little bare, with hard boiled eggs. Their waffle machine was mostly empty by 9.45am (breakfast ends at 10am).

Everything was great except that the hallway outside elevator had a real bad cigarette odor. Room was fine. It needs to be addressed by someone.

I choose this hotel based on cost and proximity to a conference at DCU. Overall, good and quiet stay but did wake up to people walking above me. (not major issue, always bring earplugs when staying at hotels if you want a great night sleep without being woken) Clean and roomy. Breakfast area was not set up to get in and out..and it got conjested quickly, […] with just a few families. It's a layout issue, so I recommend coming early and getting your breakfast. We very much appreciated the fact that our little dogs could stay free. The front lawn was spacious and well kept and we used "doggy" bags to clean up. Nearby was a very handy disposal unit to get rid of the baggies. Unfortunately, our tub drain was plugged up which we did not realize until early hours in the AM when we showered. I reported it and was […] "thanked" for doing so. The nearby "eateries" were extremely convenient as was the printed sheet at the front desk for directions in getting there. The breakfast area was clean and offered a large variety of breakfast choices. We were really pleasantly surprised with this. I wasn't pleased with the stay. the hotel had a very musty odor and the room was very dark. Was not at all comfortable with the way the room was set up. I would not stay there again. Was definitely not worth what I paid!

Hotel was very nice and staff very friendly. One of the double beds was broken and the toilet seat wasn't anchored properly and moved when sat on. Staff was helpful and provided a discount on the room rate for our inconvenience. I would use this hotel again and recommend it to others.

I was very happy with this hotel. It was very clean and I had a good night's sleep. The breakfast options were a bit limited but there is a Dunkin Donuts right up the street.

The hotel is not fancy but nice. It is less expensive than some that are closer to the school, but close enough to still be convenient. I had asked for a room with 2 double beds but got a king size bed instead. They couldn't move us to a room with double beds, but they offered to upgrade us without a charge. Nice, helpful people at the front desk and in the breakfast room. Fresh coffee and nice assortment of choices. Rooms were a good size and beds were comfortable. Room was clean. Icemaker worked! Loved the little fridge.

Maid did not make bed or clean room. we requested non-smoking and got smoking.

excellent proximity to Brimfield antiques show. food locations all great food in the morning great too. and you take pets....thats the best. Thanks again...we will return

Attended a giant Flea Market and needed a room. As I was unfamiliar with the area, and had stayed at other La Quinta locations, I was comfortable with my choice. The comment on the neighborhood reflects the abandoned restaurant next door, and the dearth of eating options nearby.

only problem was we were not about a smoking room and that was what we got. I suppose it was my fault for not inquiring ahead. we are both non smokers

If you are looking for the standard type of room very nice new and clean for a reasonable price then you have found a good hotel to stay in. Nothing fancy but very nice.
