"nice place good price"
Hotel was perfect for what we needed. The only thing that was not the best was the breakfast. Not alot of choice and what was available was not that good. Otherwise a nice place to crash for the night.

"Good deal for the money - not a full breakfast"
The Pros: We used an iPhone app to find a room last minute deal while we were in the area and decided to stay. Of nearly 1/2 dozen hotels nearby, it pointed we chose Econolodge. "Econo Lodge in IL"
Specifically wanted a hotel with pool so we could swim laps for excercise. Pool was too cold most of the time. They only began heating pool water warmer on a Sat night when several families came down to use it , but only after one family had already left pool area because of water temp. Had excellent breakfast.
"Good place to stay"
It is a good place to stay, the rooms are old and smells little odd, may be because they have microwave & refrigerator in the small room. Other than that no complaints.

Booked four rooms -All rooms smelled like cigarette smoke, experienced dirty bedspread, ants on desk,room wall, lobby and breakfast counter area. One room had clogged bathtub and cobwebs in corner of ceiling.
The pool was very cold and when she said the heater was on we went back later and it was still cold. I went there because they had a pool and I didn't get to swim because it was to cold for me. The breakfast was better then average, but the pool was supposed to be part of the entertainment for all of us to enjoy.

Room clean. Shower had great pressure. Pool out of order. First night, I smelled cigarette smoke wafting up from room below. Second and third nights, cranked the AC colder to keep fan running more, and the problem went away.

i picked this hotel cuz it had a pool.. and at check in i noticed it was closed... but figured i would go in the morning.. in the morning my family and i got ready and went to go but it was closed.. the people never informed us of it until then! my two year old wanted to go :-s so make sure its open before your stay!
