Olin nyt kolmatta kertaa samassa hotellissa. Paria seikkaa lukuun ottamatta olin erittäin tyytyväinen. Suurin harmi oli se, että bide-suihkua ei ollut, ja se suihkujärjestelmä, joka oli, toimi alkeellisesti. Säätö ei toiminut, vaan vettä tippui jokaisesta kolmesta kohdasta, vaikka miten olisi säätänyt. Veden tulo alkoi aina kylmällä vedellä, ja sitä siis tuli joka tuutista. No, kyllä tilanteen kanssa oppi pärjäämään. Toinen harmi oli se, että vaimoni yöpyku katosi liinavaatteiden mukana, ja takaisin sitä ei saatu.

Kiva pieni hotelli hyvällä paikalla. Pirteä sisustus. Siisti. Aulassa iPadit, joista voi pikaisesti tsekata tärkeimmät uutiset ja menokohteet. Pieni huone ja yhteiset varsin siistit saniteettitilat.

Olin viisi yötä Pod-hotellissa. Hotelli on siisti ja mukava, ainut harmi koitui meluisuudesta. Seinät ovat ihan pahvia ja kaikki kuuluu läpi. Olin yksinäni kahden hengen huoneessa, ja se oli yhdelle hengelle juuri sopiva - esim. sänky oli leveydeltään max 140 cm.

"The Pod Hotel - loistava sijainti"
Yövyin Podissa kahteen otteeseen, ensin viisi yötä omalla kylpyhuoneella varustetussa huoneessa ja myöhemmin neljä yötä jaetulla kylpyhuoneella. Jaetut pesutilat ovat todella siistit, lähes aina vapaat ja niissä kuuluva musiikki tuo yksityisyyttä, eli säästöä havittelevalle single shared on tosi toimiva ratkaisu. Oman kylpyhuoneen helppous on tietysti […] plussaa, joten kyllä siihen toisaalta kannattaa panostaa. Huoneet ovat tosi pieniä, mutta niissä on kaikki tarvittava. Huonekalujen ja tekstiilien kunto on erittäin hyvä, uuden oloinen, ja huoneet siivotaan huolellisesti joka päivä. Hotellin asiakaskunta oli kaikenikäistä, fiksua ja hyvin asiallista. Hotellin sijainti on mahtava. Kulman takana on ruokakauppa sekä lukuisia ravintoloita ja hyviä pubeja. Myös pikaruokapaikkoja on lähellä jos äkkinälkä yllättää. Hotellin omassa baarissa en ruokaillut, kun muu tarjonta naapurustossa oli niin hyvä. Keskuspuistoon ja Times Squarelle kävelee vaivatta, ja samoin ostoksille Lexingtonille ja 5th Avenuelle. 6- linjan metropysäkki on ihan lähellä, ja sillä pääsee helposti alemmas Manhattania. Lentokentältä pääsee myös edullisesti ja vaivatta ihan hotellin lähelle, 53rd St & Lexingtonin asemalle (ensin Airtrain Jamaica stationille ja sieltä E-linja tuolle pysäkille). Kokonaisuudessaan aivan loistava hotelli hinta-laatusuhteeltaan, ja tulen varmasti yöpymään Podissa toistekin. Lisätietoja

Pod-hotellin huoneet olivat nimensä mukaisesti erittäin pienet, mutta toimivat, siistit ja freessit. Hotellin ohessa oleva kahvila oli myös erinomainen. Kattoterassi oli myös mukava plussa. "Clean, Comfortable and good value"
Great hotel, rooms were small but perfect for a long weekend. Stayed in a bunk room with shared bathrooms. Never had to wait for a bathroom and they were always spotless. Good location with lots of bars and restaurants nearby and only 10 min walk to 5th Avenue. Will definitely stay here again

"Could do with some TLC"
There was only a thin blanket and no spare blankets. I couldn't close the blinds properly so light came in. The heater didn't work. When I checked in there was only one person at the desk and a long line of patient people waiting to check in. There are better hotels at similar or slightly higher prices in the area.
"Close to broadway"
Totally enjoyed it .would do it again. Room was very dorm style but served my purpose extremely well as I was basically there to sleep and shower only. The location was a 20 minute walk to time square and subway access was right onthe way. Would highly recommend to stay there

Hotel was below expectations on every level. The bed was the size of a child's crib. At 6 feet tall I could not sleep physically on this mattress. Shared bathrooms were filthy dirty. Air conditioner produced hot air. Televsion was the size of my i pad,..Do not recommend to anyone above 5 feet tall.

We thought the value of hotel for the money was excellent. Fanta;stic location near lots of eateries and within walking distance to many things 5th Ave. Rockerfeller Center; Central Park; FAO Swartz etc. Would have given it 5 stars but heater did not work and was loud and advertised rooftop was not open. Good place to sleep, though some other guests were noisy in the hallway around 4am... not the hotel's fault.
The walls seems like they were paper thin. I could hear everything going on in all the rooms at my end of the hall. The window A/C let in the street noise. Not a great place if sleep is your part of what you seek.

i was happy for the 6 nights i stayed rooms are not large but well designed, great shower and clean service the ipod deck was a nice plus i will return when if possible

Our stay was quite good, the rooms are comfortable even if the bathroom is a little too small (if not shared!) The location is excellent and we only had some trouble when getttng change when we paid in cash (they gave us less than what we should get three times!)

My first trip to NYC and what do I want to see more than anything? The view from a rooftop and a nice meal. I booked this hotel because of all the race reviews and the fact it was my first time to this city and it was my partners birthday. Ready for a romantic week, we check in get settled walk the neighborhood then come back, order some fresh sangria […] to take to the rooftop. We get our cocktails then ask how to get there and they informed us it was closed for construction. Yay worst sunset ever. I wish the hotel would have updated their website. Haven't bunked since I was a kid, but this is definitely posh compared to camps. Really chic and the bunks were comfy. Shared baths smelled like hair dye - weird - but literally that was the only remotely bad thing.

Great room, very clean, common bathrooms were clean. We would have liked additional pillows and puffier pillows, but otherwise an excellent inexpensive place to stay in NYC. Lots of restaurants in the 'hood.

"European chic for St. Patrick's Day."
I loved my room. It didn't have a bathtub, but it did have a very cool shower. The room was a good size for me and my boyfriend. I loved the shades as opposed to dusty curtains and the windows actually opened.

"Exactly what they claim"
The hotel was exactly what it claims to be. Inexpensive, with small rooms, but comfortable, clean, and 'hip.' Great service and the downstairs lounge and coffee/wine/food bar round it out nicely. Easy access to subways and in a great part of town. Fun mix of guests - international and domestic, young and older - interesting people.

Staying at the Pod was definitely a great idea. We switched hotel choices the day before, and we were so glad that we did. Very well located, and extremely clean. many restaurants on the same street and around the corner on 2nd ave.The teeny tiny room was well designed and cozy, with shelving and places to put all our belongings. We just recently stayed in the pod hotel in NYC. The rate could not be beat, and the room was clean and comfortable. There was 2 of us and we had the bunk bed room, and the mattress was comfortable and it was nice to have the TV right there. We never had a problem getting to a bathroom or shower. "Pod Hotel - tiny but satisfactory"
My daughter and I stayed at the Pod Hotel in New York last weekend. We had a bunk bed room with a shared bath. The room was even smaller than I expected but we pretty much knew what we were getting into so no complaints there. There was only one chair so one of us had to sit on the bed if we were both sitting down. The room was very clean and we never […] had any hold up on getting into one of the shared bathrooms. The staff was very friendly and helpful. There is a beautiful waterfall/garden oasis across the street where we had lunch one day and that was really nice. The hotel is a few blocks from the 6 and the E subway lines so that was also convenient.
