Walnut Creek Marriott - Walnut Creek

The hotel is very dated. The main level was under major construction, it seems part of the needed make-over. The parking garage was terribly over-crowded (though the hotel seemed far from full) and was cramped with spaces wedged into every corner. Navigating it was inviting fender-benders. It was convenient to Kaiser Permanente Walnut Creek hospital […] which is why we were in the area. We had a great stay at the Walnut Creek Marriott. Our quiet room at the end of the hall, though overlooking the parking lot, had a great distance view of Mount Diablo. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom was adequately sized with nice products. The hotel is convenient to BART, as well as all that Walnut Creek has to offer in the way of downtown […] shopping and fantastic parks. The lobby is still undergoing renovation, but we self parked and thus did not have to walk through the lobby to get to the hotel elevators. Great and convenient hotel. There were not sufficent parking spaces in the evening and we were forced to park on the street two blocks away.

this hotel charges for each computer you hook up to wifi and for each 24 hour use period hotels accross the coutry are not charging for wi fi

The lobby and restraunt are all torn up and we had to walk the gang plank to get to the front desk tat was the breginning of the adventure

Soon as I came to the front desk I was greeted rudely and was made to sign a extra waiver that the 4 ppl infront of me did not need too. Upon unpacking in my room I noticed body hairs across the bed . They did give me a new room but if the room was cleaned at all that wouldn't have happened . Really nice room. Phone didn't get reception and they moved me promptly to another one in which I did. Pleasant staff. Kind of expensive.

Excellent location. Very friendly & accommodating staff. Rooms very clean. All Marriotts are excellent.

great location making it easy to find. excellent service throughout from check in to dinner & breakfast! Clean, comfortable, spacious room. Generous work out facility for the active person. All in all, one of the best 'value for money' accommodations I've stayed in!

I'm a business woking in the Walnut Creek area and this hotel is one the is recomende to me by clients and very expensive for the price I pay the room wA small, services was bad, no Internet and I was given a complementery news peaper the never got diver to my door. Poor service not a good place to sleep or do business.

Enjoyed our stay but other visitors were not respectful of the people around them. Very loud and noisy.

No fridge, no safe in the room. The bathtub and bathroom were clean. Staff were friendly but the service was relatively slow. Young bellboys were very helpful.

we stayed here for one night of our road trip. but we were not satisfied comparing to what we expected from Marriott and its price; no jacuzzi, no microwave, no refrigerator in room and took 2 request calls and 3 hours till they sent one for us. the next night we spend at an Inn for half the price and we had all of these services. considering that Marriott […] wan in the middle of the town and the Inn we stayed in second night was in the middle of nowhere!!! Overpriced hotel due to limited choices in the area. Stayed in San Francisco the next 2 nights near Union Square. Beautiful accommodations for $30 less per night. Typical business Marriott accommodations. Will stay here again only because of the proximity to business obligations.

This hotel was very nice. close to downtown walnut creek where there is shopping and resturants. very nice area.. The staff was very pleasant and helpful.. Our room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. the bart is nearby which was a plus we took it everywhere. i will definitly stay here again when im in the area

I WENT TO BED EARLY AND I WAS AWAKENED AT 2AM BY VERY NOISEY GUESTS. I CALLED THE DESK. THEY SAID THEY WOULD SEND SECURITY TO STOP THE NOISE. IT DIDN'T HAPPEN. I FINALLY TOLD THE PEOPLE TO BE QUIET AND THEY TOLD ME TO SHUT UP. I COULDN'T SLEEP THE REST OF THE NIGHT. I HAD A CONFERENCE TO GO TO THE NEXT MORNING. NO I WON'T STAY THERE AGAIN. Plusses: Great staff, pleasant atmosphere. Rooms are fine (though our do not disturb sign was taken off the door and never replaced after the first day). Beds comfortable. We didn't use the wifi, but there's a hook up for just about everything. The lamps also have outlets, so you can plug in your chargers. Breakfast is expensive (hey, it's a hotel), […] but tasty. Staff is professional and courteous. Easy checkout. Minuses: Parking! Not enough, especially on nights with events! Also awkward to maneuver. The high school reunion the hotel hosted on one of the nights we stayed was loud (expected) and our hallway reeked of exotic smoke (unexpected). This is my second stay at this hotel. The service was excellent before. There was also a unique indoor/outdoor parking lot next to the hotel. Sadly this rented space is gone, but the indoor self parking worked just fine. I was told that if the self parking became full, that they would arrange for free valet parking. I was impressed. The rooms were […] comfortable, and had excellent desk facilities. The multimedia inputs to the HD TV, complete with conditioned power outlets was an outstanding feature. I play video files through the HDMI outputs on my laptop and camcorder; the easy access panel made hooking them up a breeze. Attention to details like that made my experience much better than the norm. When I asked about where I could buy a bottle of wine locally, I was given a complimentary room service chit for a bottle of wine and a snack. Very impressive! Hotel good , parking a hassle: inconvenient deck or expensive valet.

If you have an oversized vehicle use Valet as the parking garage is extremely tight for getting around. The Valet were gracious and very accommodating. The Front Desk agent, Syria, was very welcoming. I was impressed with how clean our room was! Didn't eat at the hotel but went to the Lobby Bar where drinks were made well and got to enjoy listening […] to the pianist. The only improvement could be a more personable bartender. Lisätietoja

Nice hotel, clean, excellent service. Parking is an issue, self park is not simple and walk to hotel from slef park on very busy street. Valet pricey for the area. Overall, I would stay here again.

We stay at this property several times a year. It is clean, comfortable, quiet and has very good service. I have found every staff member to be very curteous. The only drawback is the self parking. The parking on-site is small and way too tight. The off-site parking is a block away but unsecured. I've never had a problem but I'm uneasy leaving my car […] out there. Lisätietoja

I just wanted to state that I have never been to a hotel where the staff always had smiles on their faces and a warm greeting for us, even just in quick passing. It really did make our stay there superb.

We made our reservation for our stay, way ahead of time. We had three requests: 1) A higher floor room, with a balcony 2) Overlooking the pool 3) Non-smoking NONE - NONE of our requests were met. We were placed in a second floor room, which was VERY dark, looked out onto a cement wall, and though it was supposed to be a NON-Smoking Room, someone had […] smoked there recently. When I mentioned this to the fron desk, all I got was "Sorry, we are filled-up." The bar would not serve us drinks and allow us to order food at the same time, we HAD TO do so in two separate areas, and I could go on with EVERYTHING that went wrong, but this is not to be a novel. Everything was perfect, but the hotel charged us 2 weeks later additional 60$ and we had to go through a fight with Marriott

It was very nice and the staff was very helpful. I was surprised that the noise level was a factor. It's by the freeway but they could have spent more money on making the rooms more quiet. But besides that it was an excellent hotel.

We visit family near Walnut Creek every year and continue to return to this property because we know it is high quality hotel at a reasonable price. Special kudos to the courtesy of the staff - everyone that we dealt with was very efficient and helpful.
