Friendly. Breakfast was maintained and constantly filled.

If you want to save some money on your hotel during a long trip this is a good alternative. Easy to get into Charleston, if you have a car. We like the fact that you have a refrigerator and a microwave oven in the room. Continental free breakfast is also good to start a busy day.

I enjoyed my stay. I was very comfortable in my suite, and I had easy access to the interstate and surrounding amenities.

Everything was great, the front desk staff was very nice and friendly. My only complaint is that the pool wasn't very clean.

Room was clean, but had a musty odor. Bathroom definitely needs updating. All of the staff we interacted with were very courteous and helpful. In- room amenities were good and maintained. Hotel had roaches. They had no towels. The room had a bad smell. I will never stay in that hotel again and would not recommend to anyone.

All the people at the hotel were so great. Never had any negative converstaion. They were awesome. My room was great for the price. Was quiet and felt very confortable. I would use this hotel again Thanks.

I was not happy. When I checked in, the remote did not work, and the safe was not functional. It took two hours for them to address these problems, and I was then told to move to another room. It cut into my plans for that day, since I did not think these items would require two hours, and then me moving to another room. The hotel was in a good location and the rooms were comfortable. Good to stay in and not waste a lot of money. Not excellent but good.

worst hotel l have ever stayed in! the beds were so uncomfortable we felt as if we had been beaten by the time we woke up . my coffee pot had MOLD in it. nothing in this hotel worked. The ice machine was broken. The toilet wobbled , you felt as if you were going to fall every time you sat on it. The in room safe did not work.

The bathroom was very dirty. I put a towel down and stood on it to show.

We needed a room for one night. Made reservation last minute when we decided we did not want to get up at the crack of dawn and drive to Charleston on a Saturday. Decided instead to go to Charleston on Friday nite late and get a good night sleep. Had to leave hotel by 8:00 a.m. anyway. It was April 8th & 9th and temperatures were unseasonably warm. […] Got to hotel late turned on air condition in room on low cool. It was not on. When to bed. Woke up sweating middle of night. Switched to high cool. Tried to go to sleep again and couldn't. It never cooled off. Too late to bother anyone about it. Carpet was stained everywhere and nasty. If you like BUGS you'll love this hotel. They were in the tiny dresser, crawling on the bathroom floor and who knows where else. The beds were clean (at least what I could see) and the towels were nice and thick. Plenty of hot water but the bathroom was a disaster. This motel-style Quality Inn was very outdated and not clean. It was very noisy with truckers coming and going in the early morning hours as well as people wheeling their luggage past our room when we were trying to sleep. I do not recommend this hotel at all. Directly across the street is a beautiful Hampton Inn that looked very new. I wish Hotel.com […] had the Hampton Inn listed rather than the Quality Inn. Where do I start? Non-Smoking room had the awful stench of smoke! Pubic hairs on the floor, roaches in the room, a dead roach in the hair dryer, just NASTY! The bed was awful (could feel the springs in the mattress). Only pro was that the lady at the front desk was pleasant.

We got what we paid for by going cheap -- that is: a non-smoking room that reeked of smoke, a TV with only 4 channels with a clicker that didn't work, and an inedible breakfast (unless you like only carbs). Stay at ANY of the other hotels at this exit!

This hotel is a very poor example of a Choice brand hotel. The night desk manager did not even apologize to me after reporting some screaming lunatic drunk off his rear end outside of my room. Very poorly managed.

Quality Inn fit the bill for a simple and comfortable place to spend the night. Within a mile of dozens of nice restaurants and plenty of shopping in North Charleston. The room was fine, clean and well supplied with refrigerator, microwave, hair dryer and iron/board. The wi-fi worked great and the complimentary breakfast was good. not a hotel, but a MOTEL. I felt unsafe here.

My main concern was the roaches this hotel is infested with them. It made my skin crawl the entire time I was there. I found myself counting the hours until it was time for me to leave. Housekeeping didn't do their job because on the ceiling of the bathroom in the shower was a smashed roach I even had to shower with one crawling the wall. not even close to Choice Hotels I have stayed in for business travel...I would never stay here for leisure.

"You get what you pay for" here. The rooms are a little musty, but pretty clean. No bugs, mold, or anything like that. The front desk clerks were friendly, understanding, and accommodating. As a female traveling alone, I was worried about staying in rooms that faced the outside... But I felt a little better when I saw that there was a security guard […] that made rounds each night. I visit Charleston frequently and I have stayed in worse places (worse hotel conditions and sketchy neighborhoods) for more money. This Quality Inn is in an area with many other hotels so chances of encountering sketchy characters and other troubles are reduced. The hotel is close to the Charleston airport but the rooms are well insulated; the planes flying overhead could not be heard from the inside. The traffic in the area (especially this particular exit) can get pretty congested, so prepare be patient. However overall, you really can't beat the convenience of this hotel. Downtown Charleston and the area beaches are a 10 - 15 minute drive away. The Northwoods mall is on this exit and the Tanger outlets are one exit down. There are restaurants galore. The location of the hotel provides easy access to just about any thing to do in the Charleston area. The breakfast was really pretty good and the pool was nice. good value. Room was small, but clean. The only issue was the on-floor ice machine didn't work,causing me to go to the next floor. Still a good value for the money.

The woman at the front desk was nice. The room was old but Ok. The breakfast was better than expected. The traffic surrounding the area was horrible. If you want to go anywhere but directly on the interstate, be prepared to wait...wait...wait...in traffic.

We picked this hotel mostly because of its price. It had breakfast buffet too and we thought that might save us some dollars in the morning. The location of the hotel is alright. There are quite a few hotels/restaurant nearby. Downtown Charleston (where most of the attractions are) is about 15-20 minutes drive, which is not too bad. Rooms were clean, […] but the bath tub was quite dirty. Beds were ok comfortable. Even for king beds, they had standard.square pillows (too small). Walls were thin. Wi-Fi Internet was complimentary, but the room that we had was in 3rd building, and the internet signal was really weak. Breakfast buffet was usual (juice, bread, muffins, cereals, waffles). We ate breakfast the first day after we arrived there. But it was too uncomfortable with the number of people in that cramped dining area. For next 2 mornings, we decided to eat outside at the nearby Waffle House. If I ever visit to Charleston again, I would probably look for hotels in Mt. Pleasant (east of Charleston) or near Savannah Highway (west of Charleston). They might be expensive than this hotel, but not too expensive. They are going to be much near to most of the attractions. Hotel was close to all attractions being right off the interstate. Staff was responsive. There was no remote for the television. I called the front desk and a new remote was delivered. The staff member ensured that the remote worked be he left. Good service.

Needed a room at the last minute and reserved this on the same day as my arrival. Decent room and price. Continental breakfast was simple, but helped save some more money, which is what I was looking for.
