I thought the hotel was going to be a bit nicer than it was.

Good location and friendly staff. Breakfast lacked fruit. and fresh bread. All breads and pastries processed to last. Cofee watery. Many containers with apple and grape jam. No strawberry jam available.

this hotel was great, clean ,comfortable , perfect area close to the port.

The hotel room was nice and big, the bed was surprisingly very comfy! The location is great, we took a five dollar cab ride to Gaslamp. It was very enjoyable and I've stayed there more than once because the rate and location were great!

Downtown, harbor, and trolly easy access. Great location

Located next to the airport, train tracks, and busy street. AC unit makes quite a bit of noise. Everything else is great including the staff.

Old, dirty, would never stay here again. You could get a lot more for your money in the same area.

It was a little muskey but clean. The bed was very comfortable for me. Not too soft or too firm. All in all good for the price.

Overall this was a good selection, reasonably priced. The hotel is close to the cruise docs, The Mariners Museum, the trolley transit station and located in "little Italy". It was very appropriate for the price. I only stayed one day but the staff still made us feel very comforted and met all of our accomodations. We arranged for a shuttle to and from the airport with no problem which saved money on a cab.

Internet cost extra. Parking is free but limited. You must have the AC on to block the train and road noise. The hotel is nicely refrunished and was quite roomy.

The location is very close to most all attractions in the downtown area of San Diego. There is a very nice view of the San Diego Harbor from the rooms. The rooms are quite comfortable and provide a very quiet nights rest, considering it is located right on Pacific Coast Highway. The hotel was having some work done so it was noisy. The elevator was old & stop lower then the floor leaving a lip that caused me to trip. The rooms smelled stale and musty. I would never stay here again.

My stay at this hotel was marvellous. I was a bit apprehensive having booked on the internet and not sure what to expect. I read some of the reviews and i am convinced that you really have to experience this gem of a place. Rooms have been recently remodeled / upgraded, & # 218 that we stayed in was HUGE, including a seating area with round table & chairs

The room was clean, well appointed (including a small refrigerator, microwave and coffee maker) and quiet considering that it was close to the rail lines. Our non-smoking room was totally free of the smell of smoke even though the room next door was a smoking room. For walkers the Days Inn is close to the maritime museum, the trolley and the Gaslight […] district. Free parking this close to downtown San Diego is a big plus! The staff was friendly and, although we didn't take advantage of it, there was coffee and rolls in the morning available in the office. There are several places to eat within a few blocks from Jack-in-the-box (great coffee) to a great steak house at China Camp. The features of the hotel were very basic. No breakfast was served and the room had the bare minimum of guest comforts. I'd normally expect a simple and efficient level of service at a Days Inn but the price demand was far, far in excess of the quality of service (front desk people are quite inhospitable) and room features.

Good hotel for the money. Older elevator. Good location. Quiet. There's a Jack in the Box on the same block. Perfect for business.

Wir haben am 16.02.2012 eine Nacht im Days Inn Harbor View übernachtet, um am nächsten Tag ein Kreuzfahrtschiff im Cruise Terminal von San Diego zu besteigen. Das Hotel ist dafür perfekt geeignet. Es gibt einen kostenlosen Shuttleservice vom Flughafen (die blauen Shuttlebusse, Hotelname steht nicht dran, der Fahrer erhält vom Hotel einen Voucher) und […] auch zum Cruise Terminal. Die Fahrt ist nur ein paar Minuten, das Hotel liegt sehr zentral. Wir sind am abend noch zu Fuß ein wenig herumgelaufen. Das "Little Italy" mit Restaurants und Geschäften liegt gleich um die Ecke (zwei Blocks, ca. 10 Minuten) und ist sehenswert. Wir haben uns sehr sicher gefühlt, auch abends und in der Nacht. Das Hotel ist draußen ziemlich abgenutzt (Farbe blättert ab), aber sehr sauber. Die Zimmer sind riesig. Das Bad war auch sehr sauber, es gab Seife, Duschgel, ausreichend Handtücher. Betten waren bequem. Ich habe an der Rezeption nach einer zusätzlichen Decke gefragt und problemlos bekommen. Der Service an der Rezeption war gut und freundlich. Unsere Vorausbuchung und -bezahlung über hotels.com von Deutschland aus wurde gerne und problemlos akzeptiert. Man hat wie üblich einen Kreditkarten-Blankozettel erstellt und uns den am nächsten Tag wieder ausgehändigt. Der Mitarbeiter an der Rezeption fragte uns von selber, ob wir den kostenlosen Shuttlebus zum Schiff haben wollten und hat uns zu einer uns genehmen Zeit einen bestellt, der dann auch pünktlich war. In der Nacht war es recht laut von der nahen Bahnlinie - am Bahnübergang wird heftig geklingelt. Uns hat das nicht weiter gestört, aber für lärmempfindliche Personen ist das sicher ein Nachteil. Das Frühstück war amerikanisch-übersichtlich: Kaffee, Orangensaft, Toast, Marmelade, Cerealien. Auf dem Zimmer gab es noch eine Kaffeemaschine komplett mit Kaffee und Tee, die wir jedoch nicht benutzt haben. Internet (W-LAN) war umsonst mit dabei und schnell. Ligger nära hamnpromenaden och nära restaurangstråk, om än med turistpriser. Rent och bra. Tågen och trafiken hörs väldigt mycket så det är inte så trevligt att tex ligga vid den iskalla poolen. Har man hyrbil eller är villig att åka en bit till downtown är det ett prisvärt boende, dock inte för den lättväckte.

Wir haben dieses Hotel gebucht, weil es einen kostenlosen Shuttle zum Kreuzfahrtterminal und Flughafen hat. Es hat alles prima geklappt. Die Lage ist sehr zentral, da eine Trolley-Station (Straßenbahn) nur um die Ecke ist. Tagsüber hört man zwar den Zug an den vielen Bahnübergängen hornen und vom Flughafen ist ebenfalls ein sehr lautes Geräusch beim […] Landen zu hören. Nachts war es aber ruhig. Das Hotel liegt nahe am Flughafen und den öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln. Flughafen, Stadtzentrum und das Convention Center sind leicht per Bus oder Trolley erreichbar. Ein Parkplatz pro Zimmer ist kostenlos. Der Spaziergang zum Seaport Village entlang der Hafenmauer ist sehenswert. Die Zimmer sind sauber, allerdings musste ich eine Unterbringung in […] einem Raucherzimmer für zwei Tage hinnehmen trotz meiner Reservierung eines Nichtraucherzimmers, da das Hotel ausgebucht war. Ansonsten sind die Zimmer sauber und komfortabel. Das inbegriffene Frühstücksbuffet war in Ordnung, aber etwas monoton und wurde auf Wegwerfgeschirr serviert. Am störendsten war das regelmäßige Vorbeifahren der Züge hinter dem Hotel, was Tag und Nacht mit lautem Hupen verbunden war. Trotzdem kann ich das Hotel weiterempfehlen, wenn man eine günstige Übernachtungsmöglichkeit in San Diego sucht. Lisätietoja

i forhold til pris yderst fornuftigt hotel. ok stort værelse med god komfort. Rengøring i top og hotellets stand god. Morgenmad meget enkel, men acceptapel i forhold til pris. Wifi og pool med i prisen. Det eneste vi fandt negativt, var togbanen som løber lige bag hotellet. Kanon bra motell, ligger endast ett par kvarter från flygplatsen, om du flyger till San Diego och ska se down town, old town, Sea World etc så kan du skippa hyrbilen, ta en taxi till hotellet. ett kvarter bakom hotellet ligger spårvagnsstationen Little Italy, som går mellan Old Town och Mexicanska gränsen. Ska du till Sea World så hoppar du på och åker […] ca 15 minuter till Old Town station, därifrån går bussen till Sea World. Kul utflykt att åka åt andra hållet genom hela San Diego och ner till gränsstation mot Mexico. Hotellet ligger kanon bra vid strandpromenaden, nära till allt och verkligen value for money. Frukost är alla ute på stan, men den som klarar sig på kaffe, juice och wienerbröd kan äta på motellet, eftersom det ingår, men är som sagt inte frukost med svenska mått mätt. Lisätietoja
