"Good location - get what you pay for"
Decent hotel. Good location. Not awesome, not terrible. I got what I felt like the rate justified. I'd probably pay a bit more and stay somewhere else though next time.

We rented this room to have a place to crash after meeting some friends for an evening at the St. Charles casino. We were only 5 minutes from the casino, but less than half the cost of other nearby hotels. Neighborhood was quiet and the room comfortable.
"Smoke poor maintenance"
The room has so much smoke, we had to switch the room; it took hours to work with the management to do that. The chair had a bad stain on it. The staff person (Amber) tried her best to do the right thing, but the hotel is just not in such good shape. if you do stay here, try to get a room in the top floor; otherwise the noise from the room above is […] terrible. "incredible deal and extremely helpful staff"
i was just looking for a cheap place for a quick overnite stay. this place was convenient to where i needed to be the next morning early. it is no frills, but the young lady working the desk was very helpful and very sweet. i left my car key remote in room and picked up a few days later on way back thru and she had saved it for me. rooms are clean decent […] and efficient, has alot of kithen supplies and if i were staying longer would have used them. close to casinos but not much right by them. all in all a very very good deal and great staff Lisätietoja

"NOT A VERY NICE HOTEL"
THIS HOTEL IS NOTHING LIKWE THE PICTURES. OIT IS VERY OLD AND DATED. THE ROOM WAS VERY DARK EVEN WITH LIGHTS ON, AND THE KITCHEN VERY POORLY EQUIPPED. MANY TIMES THE OFFICE WAS NOT MANNED AND IF YOU NEEDED ANYTHING BETWEEN THE HOURS OF 11 PM TO 7 AM YOU WERE OUT OF LUCK. THE OFFICE WAS CLOSED AND THEIR WAS NOT SWECURITY IN THE BUILDING. "Excceded Expectations for the price! Great Value!"
Hotel was great value! Room was VERY spacious. Given the ceiling and bathroom wall paper had some obvious issues, but the wall paper was modern and the room was cleaner than I expected. No mold nor any bugs period (I thoroughly checked). ALL of the staff was above and beyond wonderful and over exceeded my expectations on helpfulness. I had a few minor […] issues. The dishes in kitchenette were mostly clean; it looked like perhaps the older dishwasher didn’t clean the plastic cups as well as the squeaky clean plates. Luckily they provide a packet of powdered soap so I just took a second to clean the cups before use. Also the fridge was hinged on the less efficient side; it was a pain to open. Being resourceful we just moved the fridge sideways and blocked the oven which we had no intention of using during our stay. The hotel was obviously older and piece meal renovations have been done to try and modernize it, but it’s was better than expected. "What you see is not what you get!"
The Studio Plus is a great concept, but failed to meet my expectations. It is marketed as a place for business travelers to have an apartment style experience. What I saw was a hotel filled with contractors, and people who had no other place to go. The hallways smelled of urine and they were extremely short staffed.

"Better than expected"
It was a very nice room. Very quiet surroundings in and out. Also, my husband is very allergic to cigarette smoke and there was not a hint of it in the lobby, halls, or room. Made for a very nice stay.

i cant possibly imagine a more uncomfortable bed. the compressor in the refridgerator kept kicking on/off all night long. the comfortor on the bed was torn in several places and had multiple burns. the walls were not nearly thick enough (you know what the people in the adjoining rooms are doing or watching on tv). i cannot believe my company booked […] me in such a shady place. i am on night one of a four night stay and i am going to do my best to get moved to another hotel, even if i have to pay for it myself. horrible, horrible, horrible place. only stay here if you cant afford anything better. actually, i think sleeping in your car would be better than this place. "Great for the price"
The complete kitchen was very handy. The regular internet offered for $4.99 was very slow, you have to upgrade the service as you log-on. Perfect location when attending a concert at Verizon Amphitheater.

I requested a nonsmoking room and was given a smoking room. I had to move all my stuff to another floor to another room. I didn't have a channel changer in my next room and had to go down to the office to get one. I was given the wrong code for the internet and had to figure that out. "Bad smell"
The hotel smelled bad when you walked through it. The room itself was clean and nice as always. So that experience was good. I just wish they could do something about the smell. It was the first stay for my friend and it was not a good one for him.

This hotel is 1 exit from downtown St Charles and easy access to the interstate. The hotel is very nice. Our room could have used more cook ware but the rest of it was great.

"The Kennel disguised as a hotel"
Two families of dogs that used the night to howl and the elevator as a hydrant made the most of a smelly, noisy, old place. Add in a broken sofa bed and it was the only bad hotel on our x-country trip at the end of 2010. Highly recommend that you choose one of the many other hotels in Earth City.
"Dirty Sheets"
This place is what you would expect for pennies per night. Since I paid hard earned money, I thought clean sheets would be included. There were yellow spots and left over leg hairs on the sheets with curly hairs on the towels.

I guess for the price, it was what we got. The surrounding rooms were having parties all night long. Comforters were uncomfortable. Recliner was disgusting. Bathroom was tiny. "What a deal"
Last weekend was my husband's and my third stay at a Studio Plus. It was the best stay yet. Every room we have had has been a little different- last weekend we had a room on the first floor and it was wonderful. Nice and spacious, and very clean. For 37 dollars with tax! Amazing.

"Great room for the price"
This is the second stay my husband and I have had at a Studio Plus. You cannot beat the price. The room was a little smelly but was clean. Better bedding would be nice, but it is still worth the price. The staff was very nice.

The young lady checking me in was very pleasant. However, the room had a stale odor and had not been vacuumed. The bathtub/shower was not clean. There was food in the refridgerator left over from the last guest(s), and there was pet hair everywhere. I just needed the room for the night so it served it's purpose. "economicaly priced"
It has some issues however for a family with limited money to spend on a hotel stay, I would choose this one all the rooms have a kitchenet so it will greatly help on the eating out bill.

"Worth the price"
Studio Plus provided everything I needed at a discount price. Staff was very helpful and friendly!
Cannot recommend this place to stay. Bed was broken/creaky, refrigerator made noise like it was leaking, noisy slamming doors. Bad experience!
"Studio Plus in St. Charles-close to area casinos"
The hotel was decent, about what you'd expect for the price. We were probably a 5 minute drive to the closest casino, which is why we chose the hotel. The front desk quickly corrected the mistake in our room and we had no problems the night we were there.
"More than expected"
For the price, I expected a very run down hotel and the thought of a full kitchen scared me as to how clean the appliances and such would be. I booked this hotel knowing we would only be sleeping in the room and nothing fancy was needed. Aside from finding some questionable items behind the dresser on the day we checked out, I was pleasantly surprised. […] My ONLY complaint was that the beds and pillows were extremely uncomfortable. We had problems with the AC unit on the first night, but we were able to make it work and didn't have any problems the remainder of our 4 day trip.
