Definitely not 4star.Minibar?not even fridge in room the reason we booked the hotel. Rooms were good,clean.Located near main railway station 8minute walk.Trams not far away bit if a walk to city centre.Hotel located in dirty neighbor hood. When leaving hotel tried to charge extra night and only when we mentioned we had confirmed payment on Internet […] they suddenly found it on their booking site,then wanted payment for 3 breakfasts we didn't have!No apologies. Even it is located at a good place to visit the city of bordeaux, the hotel itself is dreadfull. cheaply decorated in the new style without any personality what so ever. Every time time you enter the rom there is a feeling of emptiness. The service is moderate, they still don't seem to understand that a guest has to be cared for as a guest.

The Mercure is walking distance from the Bordeaux train station.The walk through neighborhood looks seedy, but it is perfectly safe. The accommodations are simple and clean and the staff is friendly. Many British business types. If you continue walking in the same direction from the station, you will find a fascinating quarter just beyond the hotel. […] Two churches and plenty of restaurants are nearby to satiate the theatre crowd. Walk along the river bank until you see the three-story lit up "door." Qualité sans reproche, excepté la chaleur dans la chambre. Bon hôtel et bon rapport qualité / prix.

Très bel hôtel, propre, personnel très sympa et arrangeant. Situé à 3/5 min à pieds de la gare et juste à côté d'une station de tram qui emmène au centre ville en 10 min. Seul bémol, les chambres sans l'option clim sont très (trop) chauffées ! Au mois de février avec une température inférieure à 0 la nuit, on a dormi la fenêtre ouverte. :)

Je recommande cet hôtel, qui se situe à une station de trame de la Gare, le tram se trouve en bas de l'hôtel, il est donc très facile d'aller se promener dans le centre. L'accueil est très bien. Les chambres sont proprores avec aucun bruit. Le petit déjeuner est correct.

In unmittelbarer Naehe zur Tramhaltestelle. Auch zu Fuss rasch im Zentrum. Pyrmont im Hotel.

Très bon séjour passé à Bordeaux dans l'hôtel Mercure St Jean. Personnel agréable, chambre comfortable et décorée avec goût, salle de bain avec baignoire très propre et moderne, plateau de courtoisie appréciable, literie comfortable,... De plus, très bonne situation étant donné que le tramway passe juste devant...(qu'on n'entend pas grace à la très […] bonne isolation phonique) En bref je recommande vivement cet hôtel aux personnes seules et aux couples désirant passer un agréable séjour à Bordeaux Lisätietoja

Situé près de la gare très accessible y compris par métro. Confortable. Disponibilité et qualité d'accueil.

hotel a circa 1,5 Km dal cento ma molto confortante e nuovo personale cordiale che mi ha spiegato tutto in 3 lingue :-)...

Cet hôtel est situé 5 minutes à pieds de la gare Saint Jean ; la station de tram Tauzia est presque devant la porte, rendant l'accès au centre-ville de Bordeaux très facile. L'hôtel est très agréable et confortable. Les chambres sont bien isolées, très spacieuses. Le petit plateau de courtoisie (thé, café) est appréciable. Kommer man från tågstationen måste man gå igenom Bordeauxs eget "Red Light district" som ligger runt hörnet. Alla rum på de övre våningarna har ett högljutt bullerpå nätterna från någon maskin på taket. I receptionen beklagar de detta och säger att chefen är informerad men att det inte går att göra något åt. Trots att hotellet var förbetalt via internet […] fick jag betala igen när jag checkade ut. De kunde inte se att de mottagit något betalning... Väl hemma igen kontaktade jag hotels.com och de redde ut saken och hotellet lovade att betala tillbaka pengarna. Hotellet var fint og rommet romslig og trivelig. Badet var lekkert. Minibar manglet. Hotellet ligger ganske sentralt, men det er litt langt å gå til begivenhetenes sentrum. Da kan man benytte Tramwayen som passerer hotellet. Det ligger ikke langt fra promenaden langs Garonne. Det kunne virke som det var lite betjening på hotellet. Personnel très sympathique . Nous sommes partis trés tôt et on ne nous a pas fait payer le parking : geste rare et cool ! Trés bon séjour . Je conseille vivement .
