I arrived the day this hotel ceased to be a Hampton Inn. It is now a Days Inn. I have no idea how it remained a Hampton Inn for so long as it's quite old and dated...not what I'd normally expect from a Hampton Inn. Thankfully, there's a brand new Hampton Inn in Fargo.

Breakfast was good. Breakfast service was very good. Akie, breakfast staff person was very helpful, offering a real knife to slice up our orange and apple for our baby. "Hampton in Fargo ND"
Most hotels in Fargo in your price range have a fridge and microwave in ALL guest rooms otherwise the hotel was very nice.

The only thing that wasn't great was the condition of the cot. It had no support what so ever! Otherwise everything was very good. The people taking care of the buffet breakfast were great!! The food was very fresh and there was always plenty of it! Good job!!!

This hotel is conveniently situated near to all shopping in Fargo. Our room was clean, pleasant and air conditioned. We were not able to book a room with queen beds -- not sure if the hotel even has them -- and this was a decided disadvantage for tall people. The hotel is close to great shopping and lots of reastaurants. I would stay there again. The staff was friendly and the hotel was clean, a good stay!

Great customer service with a friendly staff. The breakfast was awesome! Scrambled eggs with ham and cheese, sausage, and either tatters or french toast strips each day. After staying in other Hampton Inns I was disappointed. The room was fair but the furniture, TV etc was outdated. Staff was friendly and accomodating. I also wish they would have a lounge on the premise Serving drinks and place to entertain guests. Or just get a nightcap.

the hotel was once nice but is showing its age. peeling paint, squeaky beds, can find better places for cheaper.

It might not be a top of the heap hotel but, you can feel that they try to make it all it can be!

The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful and the rooms were very clean, however we were dissapointed to find that there wasn't a fridge in the room and the breakfast served in the morning was totally empty including the coffee and it was at prime hours and should have been better stocked.

"just OK"
Nothing special. but nothing really bad either. The breakfast was nice - always look for a place that provides breakfast especialy if you have children. HBO didn't work. But didn't watch any TV anyway. The room was standard. Overall, nothing really wrong with it but nothing makes it stand out from the crowd either.

"Hampton Inn - Fargo"
This hotel was very clean and had a great breakfast - much better than most other continental breakfasts. Found the hotel to be quite central to all the shopping in Fargo. The staff was friendly and helpful too. Would definitely recommend this hotel.

Excellent Staff, awesome hot breakfast in the am. Very accommodating for any requests. We checked in early and asked for late check out. This was a stay during the week. Clean rooms and pool/hot tub

Apparently teenage hockey teams count more than individual guests. Ranked as a 'mid range Hilton' hotel, it was more like a Motel 6. There was no fridge or microwave in our room (first come first served apparently and the 15 yr old hockey players where there first, never mind that I made my reservation a couple of weeks ahead). All the breakfast was […] eaten so they had to scramble for enough to feed the rest of the guests. Apparently no one thought to go to the local supermarket to buy bacon or sausages. They simply 'ran out ' of meat. As one would expect the pool/hot tub area was a write off. "Fargo Hampton Inn"
Check in was easy and quick but front desk attendant didn't offer a friendly smile. The first room I was given had a horrible odor (like vomit). I requested a new room and was told I couldn't have a room near other family staying at the hotel (as we'd requested). But I was offerred a can of Febreeze. "CLEAN AND COMFORTABLE"
My wife and I stayed at the Hampton Inn in May 09. The hotel was clean, quiet, comfortable, well located and the breakfast was above average. No negative comments. I recommend this hotel.

This hotel is a great place to stay. It has a nice complimentary breakfast, firm and soft pillows to choose from, staff was excellent at check in and check out. The room was clean with comfortable beds. I would definitely stay there again as this hotel was also conveniently located for most stays.

Best continental breakfast we have ever had at a motel. Personnel were pleasant, quiet, and over all nice stay.

"location was great"
Continental breakfast was OK I didn't like having to haul luggage up to the 2nd floor - due to the hotel not having an elevator. I also did not like the pool closing at 10 PM on Friday night - thought it should stay open longer with it being a weekend night. The bed was extremely comfortable.

"Nice stay"
This hotel was a nice place to stay, the continental breakfast was outstanding, the staff were friendly, and the rooms were clean. The only thing needed is an elevator as there was not one and it was hard to haul everything upstairs with a sleeping child.

The hotel is undergoing a massive remodel, so many of the hallways look horrible with plaster and paint, etc. However, the rooms were great and there was no construction noise even with the remodel.
