Hotelli oli ihan mukava ja siisti. Aamiainen oli OK. Sänky oli hyvä ja TV kanavia riitti. Ainoa mikä puuttui oli golf channel. Ympäristö ei välttämättä ole hyvä kävelylle, paikalliset varoittivat rikollisuudesta. Mutta jos liikut autolla niin suosittelen.

Asuimme perheeni kanssa pari viikkoa hotellissa ja kaikki meni yleisesti ottaen hyvin. Aamupala kuului hotellin hintaan ja oli mielestäni hyvä. Ainoat mieleen tulvat miinuspuolet liittyivät epäselvyyksiin: jäi epäselväksi, onko hotellissa lapsille matkasänkyjä vai ei, sillä saimme asiasta kahdenlaista informaatiota. Loppujen lopuksi hotelli ei niitä ainakaan meille tarjonnut, joten otimme yhden mukaan. Lisäksi siivojat vähän liiankin innokkaasti poistivat lapsillemme tarkoitetut ylimääräiset pyyhkeet ja vuodetarvikkeet, mutta asia korjaantui kun sanoimme asiasta siivousvastaavalle.
Lisähenkilöistä saatetaan periä maksu, joka saattaa vaihdella hotellikohtaisesti.

"Good Stay but annoying Road works"
Great location right on freeway near to downtown, easily accessible, free wi-fi, free parking and room was clean and tidy. Breakfast was so-so with only one table and 4 chairs but it was not important as we spent most of time eating outside. The only annoying part was several road works, road blocks and dusty roads, I hope thats just temporary though. […] Overall it was good stay. "Decent Motel, Decent Price"
This nothing fancy motel is located RIGHT by the highway (I-10). There is also road construction going on on the road in front of the motel. Noise may be a problem for some. I just left the AC/fan blowing all night and the noise was not a problem for me (although my room was located farthest from the hway). The lobby is small, so the breakfast area […] seats only four. Given the limited number of units in the motel, the breakfast selection was not bad. Other reviews noted a lack of parking. There is limited parking, but I found a space on each of my three nights there. Room was decent (once I got past the fact that one wall was bright-orange) and properly cleaned. Good price for our 2 day stay in Houston. Staff was easy to deal with and timely with cleaning our room, which was very good. Comfortable bed, good supply of pillows, good water pressure on the shower, free internet, and large channel selection on the tv (more on that) Negatives would be the reception on the TV which supposedly had Comcast. Multiple […] channels had very poor reception which made watching some of March madness impossible. Also, the construction on I-10 was right outside of the entrance. This was out of their control of course, but the jack hammers on Saturday AM were annoying. And although not an issure for us, it would seem late comers are going to find parking a problem. Not a bad place, it was clean and simple. Hotel staff wasn't especially friendly or helpful in finding things in the surrounding area but the place did the job. It was located conveniently for the places we needed to get to and it worked out just fine.

After reading the reviews, I wasn't expecting much, but I was pleasantly suprised. The rom was full of amenities such as Microwave, fridge,iron, blow dryer,coffee maker and a plasma. the A/C did not work all the time in rooom 116--I got a smoking room but reserved a non-smoking room---the hot water took a long time to get to my room when water turned on--the towels were few

It was a rainy day, so that might have influence it. But the hotel looks nice enough, but the room was awful. Smell very bad, and some areas of the floor were wet. i couldn't not stay the night there. Sorry.

"Very good price and location"
The location of hotel is cheap, very close to downtown and washington st activity. Room was clean, bed was confortable, air conditioner was good, rooms have a microwave and mini fridge. The only downfall is that the area is kinda of a bad. But definitly will stay there again.

We stayed at the Howard Johnson on Thanksgiving weekend. The stay was fine expect the construction that was being work on in front of the hotel. The gates located on the side of the hotel were closed early and we had to go through the construction area which lead to the main entrance. The parking lot isn't big enough to hold all the guests so if you get there later in the evening as I did you have to park in the street.

Reserved that room with a whole month in advance, when I got there the room was the most inconvenient one in the whole building! There wasnt enough parking spaces so if you got back late at night you will have to park outside of the complex and the hood around it's not the safest one to say the least, but you get what you pay for, I'll never stay here […] again and I'd recommend everybody to spend a little extra and find a better place than this... This place is great for those who want a good nights rest in a clean room. The staff was nice and parking was not an issue. The selection on breakfast could have been a bit fresher, but that's what starbucks is for. :)

If, like me, you are working in the area of this hotel, you should definitely stay here. It's a small hotel with good onsite parking. You'll avoid Houston rush hour traffic...find attentive desk staff...enjoy extended Continental breakfast to get you out the door, and a nice, clean, quiet room. My wife and I went to a taping of Americas Got Talent at the Verizon Theater in Downtown Houston. I picked this hotel because it was the closest most reasonable hotel in the area. Check in was great, the clerks were very nice and helpful. The girl at the desk the next morning was not helpful at all. The breakfast area was very messy and unkept. The […] milk they had for the cereal was in a vase left out with no refrigeration so I stuck with the waffles and coffee, which were both very good. The outside of the room was covered in bird poop from all the pigeons that were not shood away. The room was great and comfortable as a five star would be. We weren't there very long but way too much birds and their remnants. They need anti-pigeon repellant or something to get rid of all the birds. Probably wont stay again. Lisätietoja

"Got the job done!"
I go to Houston a couple times a year for baseball games, usually stay downtown close to the ballpark. But this year with the budget alittle tighter we stayed at the HoJo. Its a quick 5 min drive to downtown, didnt stay in the room much just shower and sleep, clean rooms, nothing fancy, it worked for me....

The hotel was easy access and afordable for our business trip. Just a couple complaints. One we had ask for a ironing board for our room and never got one. Two breakfast was not as stated on their menu board. They were short things like syrup. candy machine was there but no snacks. Other than that the room was nice and clean. "HoJo Heights much improved"
I found that the attitude of the desk staff was much improved from my last stay last summer. I was greeted with friendliness instead of indifference bordering on rudeness. Also, the breakfast offerings were greatly expanded from a few cheap donuts to include several choices, including a fresh waffle-maker. Out side of the motel smelled like something rotting but i couldn't smell it inside. The place is old but pretty clean especially the bathroom. "Very comfortable, and quiet"
I'm not sure why only two stars? The area may not be the best, but had NO problems, very clean and quiet. Office staff not rude but not friendly either. All in all for the price, you just can't beat it. I would stay there again anytime.

We booked this hotel room simply as a place to crash during a road trip. It was a 5 minute drive to downtown Houston and in a relatively safe-looking area. The manager was very friendly and helpful. As I mentioned before, the owner kept calling me saying I forgot to fill out a piece of paper-he never mentioned it upon check in. Then called me twice to come to office, the second time was after I had gone to sleep at 10:45pm. He's nice until you do something HE thinks is wrong.
