Very helpful staff. Accomodating and affordable!

Hotel front desk staff not friendly at all. It took my wife 10 minutes to check in because he was busy with deliveries and trying to find out if a staff member was on the premesis. Has not been maintained very well. Water damage in the room and bathroom. Very musty smell throughout facility. We have stayed at many 2.5 star hotels over the last three years and this was the least maintained property.

As usual, no complaints.

This is my favorite hotel in Alexandria. I have stayed at a few in the area, but this is by far the most comfortable and has the friendliest staff. The hotel is well styled and very accessible, with a convenient, well-lit walking path to the Cracker Barrel next door, or the convenience store just beyond the restaurant.

The hotel was nice, the service was great. I would have given it 5 stars had it not been for the train whistle blowing at 5am.

Room originally assigned had 2 of the 4 lights burned out --no maintenance staff on duty to replace bulbs. Sink in bathroom pull stopper did not work. Thermostat on wall did not work -- discovered had to locate manual switches on wall unit and when we entered the room, the AC was set on 60 degrees and highest fan speed. Also, the hotel was in the process […] of changing TV service and the digital, flat-screen TV was not working. When I asked to switch rooms, they were quick to offer another room -- but they had no additional rooms with king size bed. We got a nice room with 2 doubles which was fine. And, it took the hotel clerk about 10 minutes to literally go to several possible rooms to determine whether or not the TV worked. Our "second" room had an operable TV but it was not a new flat-screen digital. It was an old large analogue with pretty good picture quality. what a beautiful hotel. very clean. wonderful staff. love the modern decor.

We stayed as a stopping point on a road trip. We loved that La Quinta is pet friendly. The hotel was average. The staff was not very helpful or pleasant to be around. And the "gym" didn't have any working machines - all needed service. But Alexandria is a small city so not too many choices in town.

This was our first time to stay at a La Quinta. I must admit that we were pleasantly surprised. The contemporary decorations were lovely. Our room was very nice. The bed was extremely comfortable. There were a few problem areas. The elevator was nasty. Someone apparently spilled something and the floor was sticky and the walls of the elevator were […] yucky. Even the next morning when apparently someone attempted to clean it, it was still not very clean. The floors on the entry level needed vacuuming better. The hotel was very nice and the rooms were very room and nice. But we carried our dog with us and there is not extra charge for a pet. Which is nice but the room 110 which we occupied smelled like dog urine. The instant you open the door the smell was terrible. We bought two room spray refresheners and it didnt help at all. The coffee pot had the wrong […] pot with it so to make coffee in the morning you had to hold the pot up to the basket to let coffee run out into pot. We had requested a refrigerator in the room the day before arrival and i was assured that they would have one to put in it. I requested it again a front desk and i was told they would check on it. I assume they are still checking. The refrigerator and coffee pot wasnt a big deal it was something we could handle but for what i paid for two nights i should have had to smell dog urine all weekend. Lisätietoja

The front desk was very helpful with exits and directions. The room was big and lovely. It had everything we needed in case we forgot something.Room temperature was very good and the bathroom was clean and nice. The pool and hot tub was also clean and provided a nice relaxing comfort. Parti d'un établissement identique en Arkansas où nous avons été ravis du service, il est étonnant de remarquer que dans cet hôtel identique, la serrure était cassée, les lampes ne fonctionnaient pas et pire que tout, il n'y avait meme pas de Wifi. A déconseiller
