Pidin hotellista todella paljon. Hinnat olivat halvat mutta hotelli kuitenkin erittäin hyvällä paikalla ja huoneeni ja yleiset tilat olivat todella siistit. Henkilökunta oli oikein ystävällistä ja aamiainen hyvä.

Ihmettelemme hotellin käytäntöä ottaa maksu säilytettäväksi jätettävistä matkatavaroista. Jouduimme maksamaan tästä koska saavuimme hoteliin klo 0930 aamupäivällä, ja huone luvattiin vasta klo 1400. Vastaanoton henkilö (17.1., nainen) oli erittäin palveluhaluton ja epäystävällinen. muina päivinä ei tässä suhteessa moittimista. Aamiaistarjoilun henkilökunta […] oli ilmeisesti harjoittelijoita ja epäaloitteellisia. Pöytiä ei siivottu ja katettu uudestaan, tarjolla olevat ruoat loppuivat. Odotustasoa selvästi miellyttävämpi kokemus. Huoneen pieni koko arvelutti, mutta ei osoittautunut epämiellyttäviksi. Televisiota ei voi kunnolla katsoa vuoteista, mutta kuka nyt matkustaa Berliiniin tv:tä katsomaan. Palvelu oli koko vierailumme aikana ystävällistä ja nopeaa. Hotelli oli perussiisti, kylpyhuone etenkin. Suihkusta tuli mukavalla paineella vettä. Huone vastasi suurinpiirtein ruotsinlaivojen parempaa deluxe-luokkaa tasoltaan ja kooltaan. Verhot pimensivät huoneen hyvin yöllä ja kadulta ei juurikaan kuulunut ääniä, hotelli sijaitsee ns. rauhallisessa hotellikorttelissa, vähän paremmalla turistialueella. Huone oli niin pieni, että matkalaukkua ei saanut koko aikana auki muuta kuin levittämällä sängylle, mikä ei sohjoisille säillä varsinkaan ole miellyttävää. Sänky oli toivottoman kapea kahdelle. Hotellin sijainti on erinomainen, bussipysäkki (mm. 109 Tegeliin) on varsin lyhyen kävelymatkan päässä. Hotelli on siisti, huoneet kenties keskivertoa vähän pienemmät, mutta taso on hyvä. Aamiaisbuffet on runsas ja monipuolinen. Palvelu erittäin ystävällistä. Hotellin yhteydessä toimii ravintola, josta saa korkeatasoista berliiniläisen keittiön valmistamaa […] ruokaa. Huomatukset koskevat huonetta: - Sängyn patjan jouset olivat painuneet ulkoreunalta, nukkuja ei pysynyt mukavasti sängyssä. - Huoneovien sulkemiskolahdukset yöllä olivat häiritseviä. Aamiainen oli oikein hyvä, ja muutenkin hotelli oli ystävällinen ja toimiva.

Siisti, rauhallinen hotelli erittäin hyvällä sijainnilla. Ystävällinen ja avulias henkilökunta. Aamiainen mannermaiseen tapaan hyvä ja ravintola rauhallinen. Hotellin yhteydessä oleva iltaravintola pieni,mutta kaikki toimi hyvin. Suosittelemme ainakin pariskunnille.

A very comfortable hotel in Charlottenburg, which is the nicest area of Berlin. I got a very good deal on a four-day stay booking the morning of the day I checked in. The U-bahn is just down the road and Berlin's transport system is amongst the best in the world, so it's very easy to get to other parts of the city. Charlottenburg itself is full of beautiful […] shops and great bars and restaurants. But, as other reviewers have pointed out, it's best to be at least conversant in German to go here as all the staff, including in the attached bar and restaurant, prefer to speak their own language, which is understandable. Luckily I can, and as a result everyone was extremely friendly and helpful. The single room I occupied had a comfortable bed and a great bathroom and was very quiet. this is a tourist production line and totally german oriented very few foreigners no English translations on form like on how do you like us form breakfast looked ok but tight seating rooms good size tv good great area I dealt with two rude young people @ reception that spoke poor English and didn't care period. very unpleasant place no fun

Terrific little hotel just off the Ku'damm. One member of staff could've been friendlier, but otherwise I feel this is a gem of a reasonably-priced hotel. S-Bahn station and plenty of restaurants close by, nice area of town.

We found the hotel adequate for our 3 day stay. The staff was very accommodating and friendly. The price was very affordable. Our only complaint was the hallways just outside our room smelled of smoke/stale cigarette, although it was a no smoking facility. The hotel is very well located, just off the Kurfeurstendamm and the bus from Tegel airport passed right by, so easy enough to find and just a short walk to the Zoo Banhoff S ban. A pretty good base for a short visit. The staff all speak far better English than the staff in London hotels do and were helpful and courteous. We booked this hotel only after reading a million reviews, so we knew the rooms would be very small. But, again we only had a day to spend there and needed easy access to the 109 bus from the airport (10 min. walk). During the day we took a Hop-On bus (10 min to boarding stop) on both routes to see the entire city. I had done an indepth stay in Berlin, […] and my husband just wanted to see sights he'd read about. Turned out OK since it was in the 30's all day. Both nights we walked to restaurants close by. Everything is near to the hotel, including Hard Rock (if you like those) a typical beer hall, and a very trendy Italian restaurant where you order at a counter with their own debit card and pay as you exit. Excellent choice and food. The hotel itself has a German restaurant that was usually full. Not our kind of food, but they had a reasonable bar. qquite satisfied. We were surprised that we were charged for leaving our luggage at the hotel after check out for just a few hours. This is the very first time that any hotel has charged has charged us for leaving the luggage at the hotel after check out , just for 4 hours, until we returned back home.

Very friendly staff. Great restaurant with traditional German dishes. Look out for the small 24 hour store oppposite the hotel to pick up a late night or early morning hot drink - very useful as there are no drink making facilities in the room.

This was a perfect choice for my needs - small, reasonably priced hotel, which is clean, comfortable and in an easily accessible and safe location. Perfect to attend a conference at the Messe. Staff are helpful, breakfast is very nice at a very reasonable price, from 0630.

My single room was perfect for me, a woman, traveling alone. It was small and basic, which is what keeps the price reasonable. But in the best area, close to bus and subway lines, right by the shopping street. Safe for evening walking, very clean, helpful reception staff.

I was surprised by the hotel because the price was very cheap. The room was clean and the bed was ok. Wi Fi was good + free. Overall a good experience. Only issue i had was that for whatever reason the staff tried to charge me for the breakfast for each of my 4 nights of stay. I explained i've paid in advance and i decided against breakfast (cheaper […] + i get up late) and that i never stepped foot in the breakfast room during my stay. At this point she made me feel like a criminal insisting i pay for whatever reason. In the end, they sort of just angrily told me to just go and not to worry about it. Very nice hotel, a pleasant, level walk to Zoo Gardens where there are buses and trains to main sights and beyond! I really enjoyed my stay at the Berlin Plaza Hotel and would recommend it to families and couples. The room was clean and tidy. The staff were friendly and polite plus the Breakfast is Fantastic! The U-Bahn is a short 5 minute walk, which gives you access to all parts of the city. Overall a good experience and would stay there again.

The Plaza is a good hotel for a short stay in Berlin, in a quiet street, but near to transport links, restaurants, shops and within walking distance of Tiergarten. The room was small for a double, with a reading light on one side of the bed only and the TV at a strange angle, but nevertheless perfectly adequate. There was also no bath, but the shower […] was very effective and soap/shower gel/shampoo provided in dispensers. The staff were courteous, breakfast buffet ample and the hotel restaurant really very good for dinner. The hotel has bikes to rent and mine was fine although my husband did not like his much. This is much the best way to move around the city as there are cycle paths almost everywhere. Cozy hotel just off the main drag in West Berlin and about a block from the U-Bahn station "Ulandstrasse". The room was small, not too much room around the very comfortable queen size bed. The bathroom was top grade with an excellent stall shower. Included in the price of the room was a full breakfast buffet that would easily cost 20 euros in most […] other hotels. Another added benefit was the hotel restaurant "Knese" which offered a 10% discount to hotel guests. My wife ordered liver and she felt it was the best she had ever eaten.
