Kävelyetäisyydellä oli kaikki toivomamme kohteet - Metroasemaa myöten. Taksi maksoi < 10 €, jos tarvitsimme sitä. Hyvin nukuimme vaikka huone olikin kadun puolelle ja ekassa kerroksessa.

Pieni hotelli sijaitsee Brunatessa aivan funikulaarin vieressä eli jännittävän köysiratajunamatkan päässä Comosta. Söpö kylä, mutta ei juuri palveluja muutamaa ravintolaa/hotellia lukuunottamatta. Hyvät ulkoilumaastot ja yhteys Comon kaupunkiin. Vaikutti perheyritykseltä tms. jossa ainoastaan yksi työntekijä puhui englantia. Huone modernisti sisustettu ja siisti. Hotellin hintaan ei ainakaan meille kuulunutkaan aamupala, josta sitten maksoimme erikseen 7e/hlö, mutta ihan maittava oli! Söimme myös illallisen yhtenä iltana: ruokalistaa ei ollut, ensin kysyttiin mitä haluaisimme syödä ja sitten kerrottiin mitä oli - ja vaihtoehtoja oli aikalailla tasan yksi. Hyvää ja perinteistä italialaista ruokaa kuitenkin oli ja ilmeisesti joka päivä vähän eri valikoima:) Perushyvä hotelli, mutta jos Comon keskustassa enemmän haluaa seikkailla, voi sijainti alkaa vähän rassaamaan.

Hotellissa oli käynnissä mittava remontti. Syytäkin on, sillä huone oli aivan kamala; pikkuinen koppero, missä oli kokolattiamatto a ei ollenkaan äänieristystä! Joka sana naapurista kuului ja vessasta...Respan henkilökunta oli ystävällisiä ja supermarketti vieressä plussaa. "Mukava visiitti"
Yövyimme vain yhden yön hotellissa. Palvelua sai hyvin englanniksi, huone oli ok: hieman vanha ja nuhjuinen, mutta siisti. Aamiainen maittava&runsas, myös ruokakauppa aivan vieressä! Lyhyt matka kävellä rautatieasemalta ja keskustaan kävellessä paljon ravintoloita matkan varrella, eli aika passeli sijainti ainakin näin lyhyelle vierailulle.
"Hyvä paikka melko edulllisesti vaatimattomalle"
Huoneessani yöpöydän lamppu eikä hiustenkuivaaja toiminut, 39 asteen helteessä tuuletus ei nyt erityinen, mutta jonkinlainen. Kokolattiamatto. Talon remontti ei kuulunut. Hyvä ruokakauppa vieressä. Raitsikalla rautatieasemalle helppo mennä ihan läheltä.

Palvelu ihan ok. Huoneessa oli parantamisen varaa. WC:n ovi oli rikki, samoin WC pönttö ja lavuaari oli vähän vinksallaan. Kangstapetit ja kokolattiamatto tekivät hieman tunkkaisen olon.

Hotellin sijainti on erinomainen. Perille on helppo löytää esim. Stazione Centralen suunnasta. Hotellilta on vain kävelymatka tärkeimmille nähtävyyksille, mutta metro- ja raitiovaunupysäkit ovat vain kivenheiton päässä, mikäli kävely ei kiinnosta. Hotelli on etelä-eurooppalaiseen tyyliin aavistuksen kulunut, mutta kaikki palvelut toimivat moitteetta. […] Huoneet ovat siistejä ja siivoojat ovat äärimmäisen tehokkaita ja ystävällisiä. Hotellissa ystävällinen palvelu ja pieni huone oli siisti, joskin vanha ja kulunut. Aamupala oli todella onneton. Tarjolla ainoastaa kahvia, mehua, munaa ja lämpimiä makkaroita. Hotellin vieressä marketti ja metroasemalle vain 200 metriä. Sijainti oli muutenkin hyvä, sillä Buenos Airesin ostosalue ja Corso Comon yökerhoelue olivat molemmat kävelymatkan […] päässä. "Good price, great location"
We were there at the middle of october and weather was still great (day +19, night +14 celsius). Nice rooms, not too big, but still big enough for 2 person. Reception speaks very good english and is very very helpful. I would recommend this for those who need budget price hotel that is near centre of Milan. It is about 8min to fashion street (Via della […] spiga) and about 12min walk to Piazza Duomo. From central station it is 10min walk to hotel. Vaatimaton pikkuhotelli. Siisti, mutta vanhahtava. Palvelu ystävällistä, mutta unohtivat herätyksen. Aamiaiset todella surkeat. Varaudu syömään aamupala muualla. Yhdessä italialaisten kanssa lähibaareissa. Huokeaa ja näkee samalla paikallisten elämää.

Kaikki sujui hyvin, henkilökunta oli ystävällistä, siivous toimi, suihkussa vedenpaine hyvä (ainakin ekassa kerroksessa) ja aamiainen eurooppalaisittain riittävä. Metrolla kolme pysäkinväliä Duomolle. Toki huoneet olivat nuhjuisia ja niissä haisi tupakka, vaikka oli savuttomat huoneet, aamiaishuone oli pieni. Mutta sanoisin, että täysi vastine rahoille, […] onhan tämä Milanon keskustan lähellä ehkä edullisin hotelli. Hotel was nice and the location great for both shopping and sightseeing. As mentioned the hotel was good value for the money. The continental breakfast that included in the price was good enough, although some variation might be in order for those who stay for a week.

Nice hotel, especially considering price x service. Breakfast including a variety of breads, cheese, ham and salami, fruit salad and good coffee. Internet available on the bedroom free of charge. Good location for those looking to stay close to the Centrale station but it is a bit of a walk from the metro station so beware if you're carrying luggage. The condition of the room and the musty smell in the corridors did not inspire much confidence in terms of hygiene standards, which is a disappointment considering that the hotel is hardly a bargain. "Cervo in Milano- good location/bit outdated, small"
First the positives; - clean room. - quiet room (was not facing street). - good size bathroom; tiled with plenty of hot water. - friendly staff. - nice, complementary breakfast (not just contiental breads). - 5 minute walk to Republicca metro station, 10 minute walk to Centrale train station, 20 minutes to Il Duomo. Negatives; - tiny room (my single […] bedroom was the size of a large walk-in closet). - very poor lighting in the room (2 small light fixtures). - only 1 floppy pillow. - world's smallest elevator (big enough to hold 1 person with a roller suitcase, or 2 normal size people with no luggage). - TV (flat screen) rests on top of a mini-fridge. - no closet or dresser to put away clothes. - no in-room safe, no safe behind lobby desk. - poor security (the key is old-fashioned lock key with a large plastic fob to prevent people from leaving with the key in their pocket). Anyone can walk up to the lobby and ask for the key to any room number; no one ever asked me for my identification. - the room door needs to be locked with a key from either the inside or outside (just closing the door does not lock it). - maid service begins at 8:00 am...a bit early when one is trying to get some rest. - the entire hotel is a bit outdated...wall coverings, furniture...feels a bit musty. The staff are unfriendly and unhelpful. The hotel itself could do with being updated, in some parts of the hotel, the wallpaper is being held up with sticky tape. The sheets were clean but the throw on the bed was stained. The room was dark and very small. They start cleaning the rooms very early and on one occassion we were asked to leave the room […] (at approx 10.30/11!!). Hotel in very good location - walking distance to Central Railway Station (10-15 min.) and to the center of old town 15-20 min. Also public transport is reach and very near (2-5 min walk) - even 2 lines - bus and tram - are in front of the hotel. Hotel is very quiet, reception speaks perfect english and is very helpful. Loved the big clean room. The staff was very friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. Free wifi in the lobby. Breakfast was good. Tiny showers. The location is a bit off the beaten path, but if you are not afraid of the subway/ metro that is not a problem. The price is right and I would stay there again.

"Great Price, Hotel & Convenient To Subway & Tram!"
I was a little reluctant to stay at Cervo based on a couple of comments from 2009 about it being a 2-star hotel instead of a 3-star. However, I LOVED Cervo as a single traveling female who values a clean, convenient and safe hotel. It was so easy getting to and from the Repulica subway station and much easier than I thought based on a couple of customer […] reviews. The hotel staff were all fabulous and the breakfast decent for me as a vegetarian. The maid on my 3rd floor was nice enough to find a vase for my rose that I had put in a glass. The taxi the hotel desk rep called for my trip to Centrale was there in less than five minutes. Very important for me as a frugal solo female traveler was the 7 Euro bus ride to Malpensa airport from the Centrale station. There is a Sicilian pastry shop two doors from Cervo that is fabulous and a grocery store also next door. In walking to the subway station I passed by a pizzaria that always had a line of people waiting to get in. My next trip to Cervo I plan to check out that popular spot. Thanks to Cervo for a great reasonably priced hotel that is in a perfect location. A friend stayed at the ATA Milan hotel and she wasn't happy with the remote location. Non lontano da corso Como, via Solferino e corso Garibaldi, a due passi dalla stazione della metro Repubblica, l'hotel Cervo è in una posizione molto comoda per visitare la città. Mi è stata data una camera più confortevole con affaccio su un cortile interno. Decisamente migliore, ma sempre troppo buia per i miei gusti (e nel bagno non c'era il bidé). Ci ho dormito la prima notte e la mattina dopo ho chiesto se ce ne fosse un'altra ancor più luminosa. Finalmente me ne hanno data una soddisfacente al terzo piano con affaccio sulla strada.
