Nice hotel on Bayerstrasse, very next to the Central railway station (Hauptbahnhof). Very friendly service in the lobby. Breakfast was ok even if there weren't very much vegetables. Hotellin sijainti oli erinomainen. Lentokentältä pääsi S8-junalla suoraan hotellin vieressä olevalle metroasemalle. Huoneen hintaan sisältyi loman ajaksi julkisten kulkuvälineiden lippu (zone1). Hotelli oli mukava, mutta ei ehkä ihan neljän tähden arvoinen. Meillä oli parempi comfort room, mutta sekin oli aika pieni. Kylpyhyoneessa ei ollut pistoketta ja hiusten kuivaaminen piti tehdä eteisessä peilin edessä eikä sillä kohtaa taas ollut valoa. Aamupala oli mahtava! Kokonaisuudessa kuitenkin oikein kiva hotelli. Olen yöpynyt tässä hotellissa aiemminkin ja ollut varsin tyytyväinen. Hotellin taso on kuitenkin aiemmasta pudonnut. Yleisvaikutelma oli kuitenkin vielä positiivinen. Very good location, quiet Hotel eventhough on railwaystation. Room was clean&tidy, but quite small. Service &breakfast were exellent. Free Wi-fi!

I will almost certainly stay at this hotel again next time I'm in Munich. It is at a great very convenient location, close to many museums and the old part of town, clean and comfortable. The hotel is in the same building as the munich central train station. You leave the station by the Beyerstrasse exit, turn left, pass a burger king and you're there. It could not be more convenient. This Hotel is outside of the central train station within easy reach from the airport by train and within walking distance of the main attractions in Munich.

This hotel is at a great location; right on top of Munich Hauptbanof, which the Central Station. I was originally skeptical about the location as I was afraid it would be too noisy - however it was surprisingly very quiet, and we never heard the trains even when we had the windows open in the night. All trams. buses, underground and overground trains […] halt here, which means you are never more than 10 minutes away from anywhere in Munich. The hotel includes the daily transport pass which is a big plus; I estimate a daily pass to cost approx 20 euros per person. So if you are a family of four, that's a 80 euro savings compared to other hotels. The hotel has a great staff and very comfortable rooms. Room size is not that great, but it's what you can expect in Europe in general. Breakfast buffet was absolutely fantastic - no complaints. Build-to-order eggs, waffles, pancakes and they even had low-fat and soy milk available, which is a rarity in breakfast buffets in Europe. Some folks have commented about the neighborhood not being that great - which is true, but only to the south of the hotel, which is unfortunately the area where the hotel main door is located, so most folks would tend to start a walk from there. The neighborhoods to the north, west and east of the station are much better; Marienplatz is a 20 minute walk due east. Nice hotel right next to the train station and within walking distance of downtown and sights. Fairly average room but clean and perfectly fine for our purposes. Desk staff will arrange for bus tours and we recommend the castles tour to Bavarian Alps..beautiful! Hotel offers free wifi, local bus/train pass and very good breakfast buffet.

The InterCity Hotel is located at the end of the main train station in Munich with immediate access to the subways and trams as well. In spite of that, we heard no outside noise. The included breakfast buffet was as good as a cruise ship's and the public transit pass provided was a well-used bonus. I have stayed at this hotel for years...but not recently. When WiFi didn't work in my room, I was quickly relocated. This hotel isn't for everyone, but it is a very good buy if you know your way around Munich. Karstadt's grocery store - with it's bistro - is easily available. Single rooms are small but adequate.

This hotel was extremely convenient with loads of options for food around. Also it is very close to the station so travelling is comfortable. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. Arrived late at night and checked out kinda early. However, I found the hotel to be very clean and spacious. Well worth the price.

We stayed the the hotel Christmas Eve to a couple days after Christmas. The hotel allowed us to check in early (around 1p) and allowed as a late check out (3p) without additional charges which we were really happy about. The hotel staff in general was helpful although one lady at checkout wasn't the most friendly and was annoyed that we asked too many […] questions about how the parking, loading of luggage etc works. (sorry! first time parking in munich!) The parking was a reduced rate and cost 16.50 Euros/ day which was nice considered that it was normally above 30 Euros a day. We were initially concerned about finding food on Christmas Eve which we heard that just about everything closes but with the hotel being right next to the Hauptbahnhof and other hotels with restaurants nearby, it wasn't a problem! Noise was not a problem either. We couldn't hear anything from the station from the room. The room was clean and comfortable. We would stay there again for the convenience, and general cleaniless. the room had mildew growing under the shower pan very objectionable odor in the entire room. Leaked keeping the bathroom floor constantly wet. Service desk not helpful when I rang backregarding an item left behind.

Best hotel breakfast I've ever had. On the same block as the main Munich train station. It's in the center of everything and the hotel staff was pleasant. Centrally located, it takes less than ten minutes to get to the shopping area, and about 2-10 minutes to four different brewery beer halls! You can't ask for more... This hotel is located right at the main train station in Munich. You need only exit the train station and it is right there. Nearby you will find some of the best shopping in Europe on the pedestrian way. Breakfast was included and delicious. An excellent value. Highly recommended.

The Intercity Hotel is perfect for thos travelling by rail as it is literally part of the Munich Hautbahnhof!( The station also has more facilities and places to eat than I have seen in a small town!) The hotel is literally next to the train station, but not exposed to train noise. I was not that impressed. even though there are a couple of well known brands in the neighborhood, you feel like you are a block away from the ghetto. I felt the rooms were small and overpriced. To be fair, the room included free breakfast, internet, and local subway […] access......................but, i was only there one night and didn't need all of these features. The hotel was conveniently located right next to the train station and other form of public transportation. We used the free pass for the subway, etc. quite frequently and was very helpful. Overall it was a nice location. The rooms were ok, warm and clean.

The Hotel was squeaky clean in every nook and corner, the staff wonderful, the restaurant very nice. The morning breakfast buffet was excellent. It's a first rate establishment. We were able to take the subway from the Airport to the central station and walk just a few feet to the hotel. The one downside we experienced was accessibility. My wife uses […] a mobility scooter and the only accessible access was a ramp to a backdoor. But it was there, just not in a convenient location. This was our first trip to Munich. I was able to find a deal for 25% off, which meant that this 4-star hotel was cheaper than any 3-star I could find here in Canada. The free breakfast buffet is quite extensive, with a very large selection of good food. The TV was fairly old, but on the second day they came through and replaced it with a new large flat-screen with digital cable. My only negative experience was with the internet, and I think it is specific to the particular room I was in.
