Upon arriving, the guests staying in the room next to me were apparently starting their party outside. Empty beer bottles everywhere. Since there's no smoking in the room, the guests stood right outside my door and SMOKED constantly. Not to mention the loud CURSING my kids and I couldn't avoid until well past midnight. The hotel has a $10 pet fee that was not on the hotels.com website. I even spoke with an agent, and he said there was no pet fee. The hotel is pretty shabby, but clean.

Everything about this place needs a good cleaning. The bed spread, pillows blankets and linens have all reached there expiration date and then some. The common areas were covered with dog feces...I actually stepped on a pile that had been left on the greenbelt right in front of my door! It is evident that there are a number of long term residents there […] that are less than concerned about maintaining the grounds. Really, if it were not for the fact that the hotel does accept pets I wouldn't have even considered it and unfortunately found that it wasn't even up to my dog's standards. Real dicey characters roaming around as well. Too bad because the location is quite good with great dining, shopping and entertainment opportunities really close by. Thie property was a real eyesore! The nicest Motel 6 we have ever stayed in. Totally suprised by the fireplace. Has a romantic touch to it. Will definitely stay there again. Very close to everything you need, nice restaurants, fast food, movies next door, and a beautiful mall/shopping center.

I booked for 3 nights in a king size room. very clean comfortable bed, fridge and microwave in the room also. Staff was friendly and was close to all access points to get around town. close to movies and food as well. Very quiet at night, did not hear anything after 10 pm. We went to the Cal Expo racing and we were able to walk avoiding parking and trying to get out after the event. Had a very good time. This was the biggest Motel 6 I've ever stayed in .

It was convenient and cheap, but the room itself was filthy. There was no carpet, just dollar store wood flooring. I was walking around with just a pair of white socks on and they were black within 10 minutes. The bedspread had a funky smell and the beds weren't comfortable, hard as a rock! Go someplace else! Very dirty..hair back of bathroom door, bathtub. Dirty carpet..see footprint from a muddy shoe across floor. Dirt behind bed..can see it when bedspread was lefted up. I didn't even try sleeping on the bed..went to a different motel to sleep..so ended paying for two hotel because this one was so dirty!

I requested/received an "accessible" room. It was a nice room, but there were 2 problems. 1. It was located on the opposite side of the courtyard from my vehicle. Since I am disabled, this made transferring my belongings difficult. 2. The shower drain was partially clogged. Room was a nice size and had a good sized refrigerator and microwave. Grounds were spacious and nicely kept. Disadvantages--the sheets were too small for the bed and no kleenex or coffee maker supplied.

access to the internet particularly for boarding passes was not user friendly

Hotel was adequate, but not over the top. Had to ask for more towels, no kleenex. Lower end of budget, but quiet and convenient.

This was a nice hotel that was fairly inexpensive compared to similar hotels in the area. The room was clean, although the bathtub had several large chunks missing from the molding. They have pet-friendly and non-pet friendly rooms. The pool and hot tub were closed for maintenance while we were there, so can't give a review on that. The area was great. […] It is close to the Arden Fair Mall, a great place to go shopping. There are plenty of places to eat nearby, from fast food all the way up to Outback and Red Lobster, all within a few blocks. I recommend The Habit Burger Grill. Great location near Cal Expo. Quiet, clean, cheap, nice bedsheets. Room even came with a fridge and microwave. Only drawback for some would be no shampoo/conditioner or lotion offered.

the hotel itself was clean, but the heater in the room did not work, and the shower went from what i set it at to severely hot to extremely cold and back to what i set it at all randomly.. i complained to the front desk and was told "maybe someone flushed the toilet in another room" and was offered another room and when i asked if that could happen […] in another room the person said "sure maybe i dont know" Lisätietoja

Room in disrepair and not inviting at all. A/C didn't work real well either.

We usually stay five star, Marriotts, wanted to save a few bucks this time. Clean room, Big pool immaculate garden and gazebo.......couldnt beleive it. Free hot beverages in lobby, convenient for shopping and kids attractions. Will be on my re visit list VERY soon !!

Considering the price, it was as I expected. Of course, there were the standard noisy neighbors heard through paaer-thin walls.

Nice room with more than enough space. The room had a 'wet bar' area in the main room with a large bathroom. Wireless internet didi not work at first, but after the front desk reset the modem it worked fine.

This Motel 6 use to be Vagabond Motel and it was alot nicer then. Motel 6 has reduced the price of a room, but in turn has attracted a whole lower level of clientele. They took away the free continental breakfast and instead have to hire and pay for a security guard at the motel! The first room they gave us had a shared door to the room next door. The […] neighbor was so loud! Our TV didn't work. One bed was hard as rocks and the other was soft and mushie. I had to change rooms. Loud people and motorcycles all night long! The room was clean and had a microwave and refrigerator, which I didn't expect. The heater worked well, though it was noisy and I could hear the TV and music from other rooms. Dated room but price was fair. Heater was very noisey so had to turn it down. But the comforters were very heavy so I stayed warm. Only had wireless access for computer would of liked to of been able to get online ....Grounds very nice

Stay there for 1 night (Saturday), great price for a shower and a bed. If I were there with my family, I would get a better one nearby. For a guy, it is good, clean, simple and has the basics you need.

Neighborhood not the best, but convenient, nice grounds, nice pool, and good for the money.

Very clean pool & Jacuzzi. Room was spotless...no cigarette smell. Surprised to find a little refridgerator & micorwave.

This used to be a "Vagabond" motel. Pros: It's physically a step up from many Motel 6s. There's a microwave and refrigerator in the fairly large rooms, and a real closet. It's clean. The outside has been recently painted, the carpet and furnishings are in pretty good condition, the water pressure and temp are ok, and the shower head is mounted high […] enough for a tall guest. The pool is nice and shielded from the street. Front desk is friendly. Cons: Motel 6 forced management to discontinue the free continental breakfast, and there are no hair dryers in the rooms. Some of the vending machines are ancient and don't work right. The maids shut off the AC when they clean the rooms, so in summer the rooms get hot by late in the day and are slow to cool the room back down when you return. Walls are not too thin but the clientele can be noisy. All but one of my 5 nights were OK. Neighborhood is neither great nor terrible. There is uniformed security on premise at night. I was very impressed with the well maintained grounds and clean rooms. This is really a great motel for the price! I had a great time at the pool. But don’t go to the Applebees next to the facility. They served the worst meal I ever had.

Our room was very clean and quiet. Down the street from Cal Expo. Nice stores to shop in the vacinity, and close to freeways.Our air conditioner worked very well.We also had varies HBO channels on TV. For the price I was very impressed. I will stay there again if the need arise.

The hotel was really nice considering the price. I enjoyed all of the shopping nearby. Everything was within a quick driving distance. I enjoyed myself so much I actually stayed another night. The pool was nice, but the security guard will yell at you for jumping in.

This worked in a pinch. Wouldn't stay there unless absolutely necessary. A/C didn't work very well, very hot in rooms. Nothing could be done (old hotel). People were friendly. Very buget hotel.
