As soon as we walked in, it smelled like mildew. Come to find out, there was some in the closet where the rug meets the wall AND under the faucet in the sink. We enjoyed our stay, except for our PTSD neighbor, who screamed obscenities from 4am-10 am!! We spoke to the front desk later that morning and they said they would speak to our neighbor. The rest of our stay was pleasant. Unfortunately, the two beds seemed oversized for the room. Cable, breakfast and the basics were available. Plus the amazing Bombay […] Tandoori & Banquet Indian restaurant which is located on the same lot as Days Inn. Try there buffet from 11 am-3 pm, you won't be disappointed!! "Expectation"
The hotel was much better than my expextation. The room was large, the king bed was very comfortable and clean. The only thing that I couldn't get to work was thr TV but I didn't care. I reported it the nexy morning and they were very nice and apologetic about it. And you can't beat the price. "Excellent value - basic but everything you need"
Stayed for three nights while in the Torrance area for personal business. I was pleased with this hotel. For starters: This is an inexpensive and not fancy hotel. The room was basic and the decor a little dated, but very clean and lacking nothing. The staff were very helpful and friendly and we did not have any issues. Great choice for the money. "Breakfast disappointing"
The hotel staff were helpful and the room was great for large family. Our room had 2 doubles, 1 pull sofa bed, and a seperate room with a king bed. The only disappointment was the breakfast. It consisted mainly of donuts, toas and juice. It wasn't what was advertised. One other problem was we were charged extra to clean our room when my son wet the […] bed. We booked Days Inn Torrance last minute. The price was cheap, we had minimal expectations. The staff was friendly enough, we checked in early to drop off our stuff and find dinner. My wife and I always check mattresses for bed bugs etc. to avoid taking home any uninvited passengers. We pulled back the sheet in HORROR to find what appeared to be a large […] (We are talking the size of a dinner plate) pool of what appeared to be BLOOD on the MATTRESS. We immediately went to guest services to make them aware of the situation. The guest service seriously replied "I believe you, and I am not surprised." I asked to be upgraded to sanitary room. "Staff better than hotel"
It was mostly clean but REALLY old and not in the best neighborhood. You know something is wrong when there is a deadbolt AND a chain. It had an ancient air conditioner. I would rate the very friendly staff as MUCH higher than the hotel itself.Aito Expedian asiakkaan arvostelu
