Siisti ja mukava, pienehkö hotelli npoin 15 minuutin päässä keskustasta. Hyvät raitiovaunuyhteydet niin lentokentälle (10) kuin keskustaankin ( 7, 9, 10, 14) Milchbuckin pysäkki hotellia vastapäätä kadun toisella puolella. Vuode iso ja mukava, muuten aika vaatimaton perusvarustus. Henkilökunta ystävällistä.

Hotellihuone oli tosi siisti mutta henkilökunta ei ollut kovin ystävällistä. vain yhdeltä henkilöltä irtosi hymy. Hotellin sijainti oli todella kaukana päärautatieasemasta, mutta raitiovaunu yhteydet kulkivat hyvin aivan hotellin edestä.

Very nice hotel with outstanding employees. Great location and very accessible from airport and main station (direct tramways from and to both locations). Very good breakfast.

This is the cheapest hotel that came out in the search which is near the city center. My wife and I were satisfied with this hotel. Conveniently located in front of the tram station (Milchbuck station). The old town is about 10 minutes by tram (#10, #7 or #14). And from the airport about 35 minutes using tram #10. Please buy the daily pass tram ticket […] which is valid for 24 hours. The difference between a single trip and daily pass is only 0.10 swiss franc...yes that's right. The hotel itself is clean, staff are friendly and all speak English. I suggest that you take the breakfast buffet for 12 francs because you'll spend more if you eat anywhere else. Please note that Zurich is a very expensive place and avoid the taxi at all cost. We paid an equivalent of US$50 for a 4 km trip. Look for COOP, a grocery chain, where you can buy most of the things that you need. The one near Zurich main train station sells hot cooked food by the pound (I mean by the gram). There's one near the hotel about 2 blocks away. If you plan to take the cruise at Lake Zurich, consider first travelling to Lucern which about one hour away by train. The cruise at Lake Lucern is much much better. If you have a EURAIL Select pass, the travel to Lucern and the cruise are covered by the pass...yes both are free. We like the old town of Lucern than that of Zurich. Lastly, don't leave Zurich without tasting the delicious luxemburgerli (google it) at Sprungli, a chain of pastry shop. Lisätietoja

The Hotel Coronado is located directly across from a tram station with ez access to downtown (Central Train Station) in about 7 minutes. Room was reasonable size considering some of the closet size rooms we have had in other large European cities. Staff was friendly and helpful, room clean and comfortable. My only negitive would be that there are few […] TV options for English only guests. We did eat their breakfast, choosing instead to stop at some of the nearby cafes and supermarket. Very convenient location, with a tram stop right across, University of Zurich, Irchel, right up the hill, and with eateries and grocery store around. Room was comfortable. Breakfast was bread and cheese, juice, coffee and milk. Some veggies would have been good. Free (good) coffee and fruit basket in the lobby. Expensive by US standards but not by Zurich […] standards. Bahnhofstrasse and the old town is only 10 minutes away by tram and the airport is 20 minutes away. All in all, highly recommended. Lisätietoja

The staffs were very friendly and helpful. Though the room is a little bit small, it was kept very tidy. The location is really convenient and just opposite to a S-Bahn station. It was a comfortable stay for me.

Very good location and easy from airport by tram no.10 direct in front of hotel. Otherwise, not located in center city. Cleaness room. For our family it's perfect.

I chose the Coronado for its location, close to the family I was visiting. It's also a quick tram ride to the heart of downtown, while my balcony looked out across wooded Irchel Park. This hotel is great for the price, friendly helpful staff but a little out of town, however as there are a number of tram lines that run from directly out front there is not problems getting around at all. Would recommend to those on a budget happy to take a 10 min tram trip into the city.

hotel is very modern with friendly staff. conveniently located across the street from the local railway which brings you right into the heart of Zurich. Nice little Italian restaurant next door but not affiliated with the hotel. we would definitely stay there again.

This hotel is cheap relevative to Zurich and with a tram stop right outside, it is also quite convenient. The room was small but it was clean and had everything you need for a good nights sleep.

Excellent place for us. We stayed for 2 nights before heading off to Shanghai. This place has the Tram-line that runs to the Airport just across the road. Based ourselves here and used the tram system to get around. If you can cope with simple to use public transport then base your self here. The hotel staff was extremely friendly and the room was a bit small, but very clean and comfortable. The tram station is directly across the street and a short 10 min ride into downtown Zurich. Great location for a good price.

Very convenient location with tram links to both downtown Zurich and Zurich airport. It takes about 10 minutes to get to the centre of Zurich and this place is served by tram numbers 7, 10 and 14. We were really pleased with this hotel. It was reasonably priced and ideally located mid way from airport to city centre and on the tram line in both directions so travel was really easy. It takes only 10 minutes by tram to city centre. It is a well kept, very clean hotel with pleasant staff and good breakfast. Nice Italian restaurant 5 minutes walk […] and woods across the road on the University campus. You get what you pay for and if you're expecting plush then don't stay here - but if you're simply wanting a clean, safe and well priced place to sleep and shower - this is a winner. It is directly across the street from the tram stop, which offers direct service from ZRH airport (#14 Tram from memory - about a 20min ride for just a couple of Euro - […] it's great!). The same tram line will take you to downtown Zurich in about 15min in the opposite direction from the airport (#10 tram from memory) - it couldn't be easier - especially after a day on your feet. The hotel has FREE wi-fi in the lobby (a winner for me). The staff were friendly and helpful and although they speak English happily, I'm sure they appreciate a few German/Swiss German words to greet and thank them as we did. I'd stay here again and would recommend this hotel for a budget but not backpacker stay - save your money for other things, assuming you don't want to spend all your time in Zurich in your hotel! Location is right next to Michibuck station(I am not sure for corrct spell). Wi-fi is only works in lobby. price is reasonable(compared with other zurich hotels) Overall, quite nice hotel.

Hotel is very good, except the air-condition is very noisy

The lady at the front desk spoke English which was good for me, as my German skills are not so sharp. However she was not as forthcoming with smiles. But they did everything I asked of them. I didn't spend a lot of time in the room, which ultimately was for the best I think, as it was small but clean. The tram station across the road was great, and […] very easy to have a walk around or head closer to the city. All-in-all, I would stay there again, if I was travelling alone and wasn't trying to pretend to my wife that we are richer than what we are. Tram in directly opposite the hotel - great access to city/airport. Hotel staff friendly and very helpful. Room clean and comfortable. We enjoyed our 3 nights there.

Perfect location. Bus and Streetcars in front of Hotel. Central city( Bahnhofstrasse) 7min by bus. Airport 20 min. Friendly, Helpful staff. Nice, clean renovated rooms. Rooms facing main street noisy. I closed the windows. On my next visit I will ask for a back room.

Our stay at Hotel Coronado was very pleasant and stress-free. From the moment we arrived the staff were extra-friendly and helpful. Our room was clean, tidy and functional. Hotel Coronado is not located in the 'central' area of Zurich, however a lot of trams (very quiet trams!) stop right across the road from the hotel and we never had to wait longer […] than about 3 minutes to get a tram, all of which take you directly into the main city area in about 10 minutes. We actually preferred this quiet, peaceful area and enjoyed the quick tram ride in. For the very reasonable price we paid for our room at this hotel, it is definitely excellent quality! There are a few take away/eateries nearby so you don't need to go far for a quick meal, and there is also a supermarket about 2 mins down the road, which is also very handy. A nice hotel, well located, easy traveling to the city (4 tram lines). Clean, pleasant service, price does not include the continental breakfast. Recommended with no hesitation.

I loved this hotel. Its budget friendly and very accommodating. Pros: 1. People at the reception were extremely friendly and helpful. you can purchase bus/tram/train tickets from them and also tour tickets from them. 2. FREE WIFI IN LOBBY! 3. tram/bus stop is just across the street. 3 buses to take u to Banhof (shopping distirct & main train terminal) […] , 1 bus will take u straight to the airport in less than 20mins! saved my family and i lots of $ on trasportation 4. supermarket just a few blocks away 5. great pizza place next door. Cons: 1. Pillows were reallly flat. needs filling. HAHA 2. Floors and ceiling are thin, so u can hear people thumping and stomping their feet. A very well run hotel with co-operative staff. Outside the hotel is a tram stop and the Zurich tram service, being extremely efficient, makes it easy to get around, even with suitcases. Tram day tickets can be purchased at the hotel

The staff at this hotel were quite helpful. Everything else (room, cleanliness, etc) were in great condition, but it was the friendly helpful staff that made my stay there a great one.

A very comfortable hotel, a good central location, good food and friendly and helpful staff

Easily accessible from the Zurich main train station by the trams, 7 and 14 which stopped directly across the street. About a 10 minute tram ride from the city center. Free internet access in the Lobby and rooms. Didn't eat their breakfast because very pricy. Comfortable beds. Very clean. Much better than a 3 star hotel, 4 stars is more accurate. Just out the door from the tram that takes you to center city in 13 minutes, this hotel was awesome. Not only was the location convenient, but our room was spacious and gorgeous with an awesome view. I was so shocked when I walked into the room, because I was not expecting the cleanliness, modern decor, and super cool bathroom that was lit up with a […] neon blue light! The best bang for our buck on our entire European vacation. The staff was funny and they even had a conference room where we could utilize the internet for free...which made contacting family at home so much easier! I would stay there again in a heartbeat. We really enjoyed staying in the hotel. It's definitely no frills, but for what we paid, we were pleasantly surprised. It's right off of the Michbuck stop, so it's only a 5-10 minute ride on the tram to city center. Very convenient!

The service and location are great. The tram to downtown was durectly accross the street, which was convenient however a but loud if windows were kept open. The rooms do have air conditioning however need some updating. Breakfast was not included in the price of the room and was fairly expensive for what was available. The hotel looks alright on the outside and the lobby, but we were very very suprised when we opened the door to our room. It defenetely exceeded our expectations. Great light design and very comfortable bed and view of the mountains. The service and front desk was exceptional and very helpful.
