Great service, comfortable rooms and very clean. TV reception wasn't very good if you watch a lot of tv while you are in a hotel, but I just had it on when I slept so no problems here. Fairly quiet too and we had a room very near the stairs. The air conditioner was very noisy and the room was very warm without it on which is why comfort is only 4 out […] of 5. I love the idea of a lounge and a restaurant inside the hotel and I hope to visit them next time. We did spend some time relaxing in the room and it was very pleasant. We will be back. Lisätietoja

I had a good time. The handicapped room I had (# 191) was hard to take a shower and keep the water in the shallow pan. The breakfast deal was really good and good value. The hotel seems laid out like a dogs breakfast, all over the place, constantly going in and out of buildings.

The staff was very helpful and friendly. Love the beds. The rooms are a little old but they are spacious and the beds are super comfortable with lovely clean/new white bedding and no bedspreads. Got a better rate than Red Lion could offer me from Hotels.com

Lighting in the room was inadequate. The room was very dark. Room was located near the pool equipment room. When the pumps cycled on the room was very noisy. Unable to adjust the air conditioning.

This is the first time I've stayed at the Red Lion and found the staff extremely friendly and helpful. They are located downtown which makes for easy walking or a short drive to restaurants. Rooms were comfortable and clean and met our needs. The only small downside is that there was a wedding on saturday and the pool was closed for 2 hours. There is […] another pool, but much smaller and in a more shady (buildings) area. A lot of hotels book weddings without telling hotel guests that amenities will be off limits. we were in Yakima, Wa for a funeral, convenient location very satisfied with room, it was nice and clean, allthough smaller than most rooms we have seen. Kids enjoyed be right on the pool, sadly it was not heated so was a bit chilly for me. Spent one night and slept well. Staff was friendly and helpful.

The room was far outback by the dumpsters and it was 100 degrees and stunk! We arrived to find our room door wide open. Waited in line 20 minutes to check in.(only 1front desk person) will stay down the street next time

Friendly staff. Very quick to make us comfortable and accommodate our needs. Didn't eat there, though. The outdoor pool was well equipped with lounges.

Bed was too soft. And did not like having a sliding door on floor level to outside of building. Was there on friday night, had a lot of drunks outside the building when we got in around 11:00. Hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. Room was very clean and tidy both nights when we got in.

Sup when o think of the Red Lion chain I think of higher quality, but this place could have been one of those other Motel 6 or Super 8... Is not that it was gross, it just didn't have that nice touch... Anyways good for an over nighter.

I called notifying them that we would be a late arrival. When we arrived at the hotel around 7:30 p.m. we went to our room and it had not been cleaned (bed was unmade, bathroom had obviously not been cleaned). I immediately called the front desk to ask for another room and was told to stay in this room and they would have someone right up to clean it. […] 30 minutes later I called the front desk and was told they were on their way, 30 minutes later I called and was told they were cleaning another room and would have that ready for us in 45 minutes, so I could come up to the front desk to get new keys. I went to the front desk only to be told that I needed to come back as they could not give me new keys until the room was finished being cleaned. I told them they needed to bring the keys to us once the room was cleaned, and we went back up to the dirty room and waited. Another 30 minutes went by and I called again...they were not quite done. Finally at 9:45 when I called for the 4th or 5th time, we were told that the room was ready and we could meet someone there to get the keys. I had driven for 5 hours prior to getting there and was ready to relax...I had to spend over 2 hours in an unclean room waiting to get into a clean room. It was okay. The building we stayed in was an annex in the back. Everything seemed a bit old - but, it was clean and the staff was both friendly and professional. For the money, I guess I'd expect a little more of an upgraded hotel experience.

This Red Lion was surprisingly scary. Most of their other locations I have stayed at are very clean and nice but this one is dirty and dingy. One of my towels even had a completely frayed edge, reminded me of the old ones I have in my garage for messy cleanups! First off I understand there are something that can not be helped. For instance the place being booked because of a Little League baseball tournament that was in town. BUT when I ask for a room that Non-smoking and with a king size bed, that does not mean I would like the opposite of said request. The only bad thing about the stay in the hotel was there was no hair conditioner in the room and I never had any this time was very upset.

My bathroom wreaked of urine as though someone had taken care of business on the floor and the maid service had never cleaned it. The young lady at the front desk when I checked in was a little obnoxious and acted as though I was inconveniencing her by making her get out of her chair to check me in. I wasn't sure why the rates were different for what appeared, on line, to be similar rooms but as it turned out our room was more of an outside entrance motel style. The parking was tight and our room was noisy because of the location. Ear plugs took care of that and we actually had a good nights sleep. Friendly staff, we were able to check in at 11 am. Beds were comfortable! We had a room right off the pool, would be great for kids when the weather gets nicer.

UNFORTUNATELY THERE HAD BEEN A FRIEND WITH BED BUGS IN HER BED SO WE DID CHECK FOR THOSE BEFORE WE PULLED OUR COVERS UP. NOT A GOOD RECCOMENDATION.

Rooms weren't ready, bar/rest not open during lunch. Came back at 3, rooms still not ready, staff not helpful. The hotel is right across the street from the convention center, so that was perfect. Otherwise, I would stay somewhere else.

Major disappointment. This is a very tired hotel in need of some major face lifting, starting with the rooms. Old style TV, Worn bedding. There are other hotels in the vicinity that appear to be much newer and will undoubtedly met the needs of most travelers.

Staff was great, check in was FAST, room comfortable, wifi was easy. Right before going to bed I noticed a piece of broken glass and a beer bottle cap between the desk and wall. Upon closer inspection I saw several shards of glass beyond the edge of the wall in the walking area and 2 more pieces of glass behind the desk. Pieces were larger than a quarter. […] Front desk offered to move me to another room, but I was so tired, I didn't want to deal with moving. At 2:00am, the fan on the mini-fridge started whining like the motor was going to burn out. It woke me up every time the fridge kicked on. I thought it was a refrigeration unit on a truck out in the parking lot so I didn't get out of bed to find out what was making the noise. I just slept with a pillow over my head. The hotel was clean, and staff was friendly. When we checked out, the clerk behind the counter said we did not have sign anything, that it was all done. However, when we returned home and checked out credit card account online, there was $80 worth of charges to our credit card that we did not do. My husband called them, and they took it off. Staff was excellent. Bed had broken headboard, sheet had tear that had a hand stitch repair, and TV was dated. Staff was excellent.

The hotel was nice, the grounds were well kept and our room was quiet. The surrounding neighborhood was not somewhere you can walk your dog. Be careful and do not walk the neighborhood behind the hotel at night. Otherwise enjoy Yakima and and the downtown area.

The hotel seems to have two classes of rooms in the same property. They have the main rooms attached to the lobby and auxiliary rooms in the back of the property. The auxiliary rooms in the back, where I stayed, looks and feels more like a motel. It will help if the rooms were updated and they put a micowave in the room.

The iron in my room did not work 2 of the 3 days I was at the hotel. My issue was not that the iron didn't work but when I informed the front desk the lack of importance they displayed in correcting the issue. During each discussion with the front desk staff they tried to pass the responsibility off to the housekeeper whom was not even at work when […] I reported the issues.
