I enjoyed my stay at the Hotel Alexandra. The location is great and my room was very comfortable...I upgraded to a corner room because the double room that i initially booked was too small for my needs.

A good place to stay if you want to live in the city. I chose a room located to the inner court due to heavy traffic. Breakfast not included in room rate. The breakfast buffé was not too bad. The wifi worked fine in my room but not in all rooms.

Our stay in Copenhagen would have been a disaster had we not been able to upgrade our room. The room we purchased from your website was miniscule and the hotel has no services, one could not even call the front desk from one's room to order a towel! In researching other hotels in the area, we found much better value and far better accomodations at a […] better price. This hotel is super cute, conveniently located, and was comfortable for my weekend stay. It's just a few blocks from Tivoli, the Glyptotek art museum and Danish Design Center. Stroget, shopping, and many historical sites are also easily within walking distance and so are the metro and busses. The hotel has bikes for rent but I didn't have time to use […] one. The breakfast spread was nice and I was glad to have the option, especially on Sunday when no place else was open in the morning. I would definitely stay here again were I to visit Copenhagen in the future. The only (very small) criticism I had were that I felt like the toilet bowl hadn't been scrubbed inside in a while, and the shower curtain kept sticking to me due to the small shower size. Staff polite, convenient location. But, it rained inside our room, not pleasant waking up in a wet bed, had to quickly gather our things and leave the room.

The hotel is on the top end of $, but if you can pick it up as a discounted deal, don't hesitate. Very small European rooms, but nice to sleep in. The location is very good.

The room was incredibly small, even for a single person, I basically had a kids bad, but the price was extremely high.

We spent six nights in Copenhagen on a trip to four northern European cities. Hotel Alexandra gave us a great room, the front desk was pleasant, well spoken in English, and accomodating. Room condition was good, bright and comfortable, Breakfast was an option, but not on par with the hotel, although a decent value (the hotel's restaurant is set to reopen […] in September). The location of the hotel was perfect for us, as we used public tranportation throughout our stay, and also were able to walk to the main train station and Tivoly, as well as a variety of nearby restaurants and cafés. This hotel was in a great location. We were able to walk everywhere from here. We loved our stay because this hotel was not to extravagant, but also had a unique European style as opposed to other generic hotel chains. There was charm and comfort in one great location. just be wary of the 25% tax placed on any purchase - I was surprised by the bill when I came to leave. Otherwise, nice enough place - not sure it's the best for the price - but I had a reasonable room - but it was toooooo noisy at night

This hotel had an amazing location - walking distance to all the main sites. The area was completely safe for a single, female traveler. The room was small, but I didn't need much and it almost encourages you to enjoy the city.

This was my first trip to Copenhagen. I thought the hotel was in a very good location and the accomodations were fine. However, the front desk staff (3 different ones) were not very friendly or helpful. In fact, they didn't seem to know or care much about the city of Copenhagen. That was quite disappointing. The room was quite small and terribly hot (an unexpected heat wave). Didn't expect twin beds, but given the heat that was probably a plus. Very basic furnishings and amenities. We were looking for a small hotel, centrally located, near Tivoli Gardens. The Alexandra was a delight - surpassed our expectations. The entire staff is cordial and helpful. Breakfast is abundant and delicious, and the Bistro served wonderful evening meals. The room was bright and clean, and the decor delightfully danish. 1. The location is perfect! It is 2 easy blocks (and I was on crutches)to the city center, Tivoli gardens, train station (good for cheap food), lots of restaurants, hop-on/hop-off sightseeing bus pickup, a 7-11, an inexpensive dollar-store type store, and a multiplex movie theater. 2. The staff is AMAZING! They went above and beyond helping me and other […] customers find what we needed - with a smile. They have comfortable seating areas (including a fantastic courtyard) where you can wait if you arrive before your room is ready and they will store your luggage so you can go sightseeing or just sit and read or play cards without worrying about your bags. 3. THE BREAKFAST!!! House-made breads and pastries to die for, several types of cheeses, at least 2 types of cold cuts, pasta or tabouli salad, cook-your-own waffles, 2 or more cut up fruits, pork-n-beans, sausages, eggs, cerals, several juices, hot tea, coffee, milk and more! We ate a huge breakfast, snacked during the day, and ate a nice dinner. 4. The rooms are clean and cozy with high ceilings and large showers. Windows open and a fan in each room for summer comfort even in July (and I am very hot natured. Great location, very helpful staff, very small room.

Excellent Location, great breakfast, bathroom sink was a challenge to use when brushing ones teeth. Given the option of not cleaning our room everyday, in return received vouchers, 200 Kronen, to be used at their restaurant for dinner.

This is an excellent hotel for the rates, especially with an excellent breakfast included. Restaurants are expensive, therefore the breakfast is a real saving. The room was small by USA standards, but manageable if you don't have to much luggage. The location is great, just walking distance to major attractions such as Tivoli Gardens. Första hotellrummet vi fick låg precis vid en fyrfilig bilväg. Dålig isolering gjorde att det kändes som att man sov på motorvägen. Trevlig och service inriktad personal gav mig dock öronproppar så att det gick att sova den natten. På morgonen gick duschen sönder så vi fick tack och lov byta hotellrum till ett mycket mindre lyhört rum.

Fint och trevligt hotell med fantastisk service och perfekt läge. Personalen var artig, trevlig och hjälpsam.

Sentral beliggenhet, hyggelig og hjelpsom betjening og gode senger. Men toilettet kunne vært renere!

Jag och min sambo bodde här under nyårshelgen, och vi har inget att klaga på. Vi bodde i ett classic danish designroom och det var helt fantastiskt mysigt och rymligt! Personalen var väldigt trevliga och hjälpsamma. Finns det nåt som bara var godkänt så var det frukosten. Men åker hit nästa gång jag besöker köp.

Hotell rummet var mindre än vad man trodde...men läget var helt perfekt. Vi utnyttjade hotellets parkering som tar betalt per natt,dag eller dygn???? vi parkerade från fredag eftermiddag ca kl 16 till söndag morgon kl 10 och fick betala för 3 dagar ...enligt min mening skulle vi betala för 2..men det var bara NEJ ...ett stort minus..och inte nog med […] det...det står ingenstans att man måste lämna ifrån sig bilnycklar till det garage där vi lämnade bilen...för man står 2st bilar framför varann och skall den andra ut så måste dom kunna flytta din bil :(..Garage låg en gata ifrån hotellet, och du kan inte komma åt din bil när du vill...bara under garagets öppet tider. Har tidligere vært veldig fornøyd med dette hotellet, spesielt med den fine bistroen i tilknytning til resepsjonsområdet. Nå er denne byttet ut med en vietnamesisk restaurant/cafe med en mer glorete innredning. Dette har også påvirket frokostserveringen, som var mangelfull mtp pålegg. Ble ikke tilbudt kaffe eller te. Betjeningen var generelt lite blide […] og hilste ikke på eget initiativ (med ett unntak). Rommet har lite støy fra bakgård, og hotellet er bra på å jobbe med sin miljøprofil, også når det gjelder gjestene. Lisätietoja

Ett bra och trevligt rum, inte det största men vi fick in två personer, barnvagn och där stod en spjälsäng när vi kom och det gick fortfarande att röra sig. LIgger bra till med nära till allt

Safe virket ikke. Telefon virket ikke. Kun hånddusj virket. Men temperaturen skiftet fra farlig glohet til iskald. Vanskelig å dusje. Fantastisk beliggenhet og god pris.

Points forts: tres bien situé, central, à coté de la rue piétonne du centre ville. Points faibles: chambres tres étroites, fenetres à l'ancienne (mauvaise isolation thermique) et salles de bains horriblement étroites et vieillottes! bonne chance avec la douche sans aucune pression! Jeg tidligere har boet på hotellet i flere år, så jeg føler mig meget hjemme! Har ikke været der i to år, men direktøren, receptionisten og oldfruen gav mig en hjertelig velkomst tilbage!! :-)

Väldigt serviceinriktad personal och toppenbra läge nära Rådhustorget, Ströget, Centralstationen och Tivoli. Bra frukost! Prisvärt! Det enda negativa var att rummet var ganska litet och inte så smart inrett (svårt att tvätta sig i det lilla handfatet med en stor hylla ovanför, svår knapp att trycka in för spolning av toaletten och det rann ut vatten […] på golvet när man duschade). Överlag fick vi dock ett väldigt positivt intryck av hotellet och dess personal och skulle därför kunna tänka oss att bo där igen! Lisätietoja
