Good location, dirty carpets...all in all nice place for the money

This hotel was so bad we had to leave Paris early. It was in a seedy part of Paris. The only good thing I can say is that the staff was understanding and we were able to leave the next day.

Room was very small, double bed was even smalller!Staff was not very helpful, When we checked out we they could not open the the safe to get our documents (35 minutes delay). No invoice presented. We prepaid throughhotels .com

This hotel is in an excellent location, very handy for the metro and right in the middle of the shopping district, next to none other but the famous Gallerie Lafayette. The hotel is very clean and has friendly helpful staff. The room was quite small but normal for central Paris and absolutely fine for the small amount of time we spent in it. We didnt have breakfast included in our room rate but there are many cafes right there, literally next door. The best part about the location of the hotel is that it is quiet at night time. There are a couple of bars and restaurants around the area but the main going out areas are a short metro ride away. I would definitely stay here again. Brilliant value.

The hotel is located with an easy access to the city centre. The room was clean and tidy, we had our bed made everyday and fresh towels changed daily. The reception staff are nice and helpful. The room was equipped with the fan (for those who are hot;-)

This is quite a basic hotel, but very conveniently located for shopping and site seeing. The room was a bit tight, but clean. We'd requested a double bed and the receptionist was rather grumpy about changing us from the twin she'd given us, but the rest of the staff were very friendly and helpful. I'd go back here, but request a room at the back rather than the front as with the window open the noise from the street was a little much (closed it was fine, so a winter stay would not be a problem). If you get the special deal prices this is definitely a great value find.

I've stayed in Paris twice before but this was my first time at this hotel. Great reception staff and the room was great, but the bed was TINY! This was smaller than a double bed and it was for my partner and me - we aren't big people so it was ok, but I would hate to be tall or big - there would be no room! Oh also in the shower the water went from really hot to luke warm which is ok in the summer I guess but annoying!

I came across this hotel in this web site, brilliant location and attractive rates. Even I read some reviews before I went there, many have recommended this hotel and so do I. Room are not as good as they appear in photos, but they are not at all bad. The one I stayed in was a bit crampy, but clean and nice. Staff is very corporative and speaks English. Some people wrote that the hotel was unsafe, but I use to sleep with open windows, so it appeared safe to me. It is in front of the street, but is calm. Metro connection is 5 Min walk; Mc-Donald’s is just behind the hotel, even indian hotel is walking distance and Rossey bus (airport transfer bus) is also 5 min walk from hotel. There are also lot of cafes around. I dint have breakfast in hotel, I prefer eating in cafes which was cheap than one in hotel. The break fast in hotel don’t even have much options. Check in time for hotel is 2.00PM , but if u land early, they will keep your luggage till 2 o'clock. You will even get a free Paris map at the hotel, but do not rely on that map, you can get lost, land marks are not good, better buy one. if you are traveling with chindren than get bigger room and not standard room. People at reception will also help you with the directions to the sites, ask them before leaving hotel. you can even ask the terminal number for your flight when leaving. Enjoy

A very nice hotel for the price. As with most french hotels, very small but not bad by western standards if you don't plan on spending a lot of time in your room. Great location for tourists. Staff was VERY friendly and helpful towards Americans, something you don't see in a lot of parisian hotels. At least try to speak French and you're in. Close to the metro and many attractions. I'd stay there again.

The hotel was in a perfect location, walking distance from the D'Antin La Fayette Metro. The room was small, but perfect for what we needed it for, the bathroom clean and tidy. The staff were very friendly, always someone on reception and always willing to help with any queries we had. Spoke good English!

It was our first trip to paris and this hotel couldnt have been better, right in between the louvre and the sacre cour, we walked everywhere from out hotel, occassionally returning to warm up!

Went with wife and son. Very central. Very neat and clean. Convenient for Eurostar on Metro.

The hotel was very clean & the reception staff were more than helpfull. The beds were comfortable & the pillows were soft. Shower was fantastic.. very hot & water pressure excellent! Hotel is easy to get to from CDG, just catch the Roissy bus & its a 2 minute walk. Good location close to metro, shoppping & eating! But quiet at night to get some sleep! Overall i was very impressed and would stay here again if i returned to paris. Good priced hotel with everything you need

Very basic but we don't go to Paris to stay at the hotel... The location is great: at the heart o Paris and a very short walk to the best places. To the rest: we get what we pay for.

If like us you don't want to blow your budget on an expensive hotel at which you hopefully only need to shower and sleep,then this place is ideal. It is situated in a great place to explore Paris, near the heart of the city. Plenty to see and do within walking distance and transport links around the corner if you wish to travel further.The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful and the room was clean and comfortable.

This hotel is located in a good location and my girlfriend and I were more than happy with it. The staff were great and it was a short work to the airport bus which is just as quick as a cab. The facilities are not amazing but for the price it is very reasonable.

Good for an economy Paris hotel; two blocks from Galleries LaFayette which means two blocks from any bus or metro station, which is nice. Room was small but comfortable enough for a couple of days. Same for the attached bath. Staff was very helpful with excellent English skills.

Less than five minutes from the Roissybus stop at Opera, it's a very convenient location. The room was clean and reasonably spacious compared with other 2 star hotels. There was a small but real sliding doors wardrobe, a table with 2 chairs and the en-suite (shower, bidet, basin and toilet) was good size. Problems: the hanger for the shower head was not holding the head in place, and a hook attached to the wall was actually detached. The room was clean but there was a lot of dirt on the external face of the windows. Basic, but confortable.

I've stayed in Paris many times and stayed at some pretty shady areas. This one wasn't that bad. The location is good, very close to Gare Saint Lazzare and to a lot of shops and restuarants and metro lines. The room was bigger than what I usually see for Paris. The bathroom was big as well but the shower is very tiny. The staff was helpful. The only thing I'd say about the hotel is that their floors are dirty. It's carpeted and you see a bunch of old stains. Bring slippers. otherwise, not that bad.

This is my new favorite downtown Paris hotel for the price. It's situated on a side street near Opera. Everything you would want to see in Paris is within walking distance or a short metro ride. The staff was friendly.

Hormis la situation ideale dans Paris rien ne justifie de prendre une chambre dans cet hotel ou l'insonoristaion est inexistante la proprete douteuse le confort de la literie mediocre A eviter

Läget på hotellet var väldigt bra, gångavstånd till mycket och nära till Metro mm. Personalen var väldigt trevliga och kunde OK engelska. Vi provade inte deras frukost, kostade 10 Euro/person så vi gick till starbucks eller valfri boulangeri för att handla frukost för halva den pengen. Rummen var väl sådär, mest störande var den väldigt osköna sängen. Nu var inte vi på rummet mer än för att sova så får ni rummet till ett bra pris så kan jag rekommendera det pga läget.

Hotel eisgnet sich gut für Kurztrips. Man fällt fast in die Metro und die Geschäfte sind hervorragend. Man kommt überall schnell hin. An der oper halten auch die Busse für Standrundfahrten - empfehlenswert aber nicht günstig. Hotel Selbst völlig ok und großes nicht zu weiches Bett.

Nous avons bcp aimé cet hôtel, le personnel est sympa, la chambre propre. Les conditions réunies pour passer de bonnes vacances! J'avais lu des crtiques concernant la lumière pdt la nuit cependant elle ne nous a absolument pas dérangée. Seul petit bémol peut-être, le bruit tôt le matin à l'exterieur...!

Porche du théatre Mogador acceuil parfait mais la chambre est petite c'est un peu bruyant mais bien pour une nuit.

Hotellet er det man forventer når man bestiller et to stjerners hotel! Ligger veldig sentralt, særlig i forhold til shopping! Rommene er noe små, men det må man forvente av et tostjerners hotel!

-Au plus près des galeries lafayettes, theatre mogador ... - proximité immédiate du métro, - large choix de restaurants et brassserie aux alentours. Quelques points négatifs quand même! insonorisation nulle (nous avons eu l'impression de partager notre chambre avec tous nos voisins !!) , et surtout l'éclairage de la rue inonde la chambre malgré les rideaux (très désagréable de dormir dans la lumière !!).

Location was great. Me and my friend both like to walk alot which meant the central placement was a superb starting point regardless of what you wanted to see. The hotel is situated just behind lafayette shopping centre. Only bad thing is that the street was very, very noisy during night and avoid it if your're not a heavy sleeper or have earplugs.

Det var perfekt, centralt läge på hotellet. Nära och enkelt att ta sig överallt i stan. Små och sparsamma rum men väl värt med tanke på prisläget. Trevlig personal. Kommer antagligen att boka rum på samma hotell nästa gång vi besöker Paris.

Die Zimmer sind für Pariser Verhältnisse (3 Sterne) geräumiger, als wir es sonst gewohnt waren. Speziell das Bad ist angenehm sauber. Das Haus ist nicht verwohnt, sondern wohl vor nicht allzu langer Zeit renoviert worden. Die Hotelangestellten sind sehr freundlich und bemüht. Sie sprechen ein gutes Englisch. Die Zimmer werden täglich gereinigt und es gibt jeden Tag frische Handtücher. Das Frühstück ist gut und bietet auch etwas an Auswahl. Das Hotel liegt nur 15 Minuten (zu Fuß) vom Louvre entfernt. Shopping ist in der Nähe sehr gut möglich. Das beste Hotel dieser Kategorie, in dem wir bei unseren vielen Parisbesuchen einquatiert waren.

Je ne suis resté qu'une nuit, mais aurai préféré un lit double comme demandé lors de la reservation plutôt que deux lits jumeaux. Matelas glissants. Voisins un peu bruyant.
