It's an ok place to stay but if u r a single woman staying alone it's kinda off the beaten path.

I chose this hotel for price. When I travel for business, i need a place to lay my head, a place to shower, and a place to hang my clothes, thats pretty much it. I paid WELL below market value for this hotel thru Hotels.com and would do it again, if the situation arose. It was not the cleanest hotel I have ever stayed in, but I have seen MUCH worse. […] The room in general was "ok", but there were several hodge-podged repairs that could have been done better. The shower pressure was EXCELLENT, which is always a plus! IF I was taking my family on a vacation and planned on spending much time in the room, i would not choose this hotel again. If I were traveling on business, by myself, to this area and the rate was the same (comparatively), I would most definitely stay here again! The outside leaves what really going on in the inside. The room was not clean I found dust along the railing of the bed. The spread on the bed had cigrette holes . The carpet was dirty and even though I was in a handcap room it shoud have been clean.

HOTEL WAS THE WORSE I EVER STAYED IN.AND NASTY. WHEN WE ARRIVED, THE POLICE WAS ARRESTING SOMEONE. AND WE CHECKED OUT VERY EARLY.DID NOT STAY ALL 3 NIGHTS

First room had surprise in toilet that would not flush. Second room filthy. Bed very uncomfortable. Food baked on stove. Cobwebs all over ceiling. Waited at front desk for almost 30 mins. No onw there to check you in. Will never stay at another hotel in this chain again.

The bed was hard as a rock. There was sticky stuff on the carpet (don't know how long it had been there), so I put down towels so as not to walk on it.

I enjoyed the room and the quiet,the lady on duty was nice eventhough I came in late ,she was very helpful.

I found the staff distracted nor, did i find them accomodating. They place two single women traveling alone on the bottom floor with out security. I requested a non smoking room for it to smell like cigarette smoke. It was very noisey.

It was a crappy hotel in a cesspool neighborhood. God-awful experience.

it was one of the worst places i have stayed at. i booked a room with hotels.com and whrn i got to the room it had nothing that they showed on the website. no morning meal or some sort of snack no kitchenatte in the room it was one i will never stay at again

Carpet in the room was filthy and the room smelled of must and mildew.

strange people knocks the door, the smoke alarm turned when i put a bread in the toaster! and my toasts wasn´t ready yet... not for avoid it, but to take care

The hotel was decent, the stay was great, and the service even better. When booking my room, my main concern was that there be a kitchen area so I went with that, along with whatever was cheapest which turned out to be a mistake on my part, If you dont mind being about seven miles out from everything (including the mall, fair grounds, Walmart, gas station) […] this would be the place for you. I also slightly disliked what i call the "highway at your doorstep" deal, YES, the highway is right beside the hotel so at times traffic can be heard. if you want an affordable room with great amenities, good service, and dont mind spending the extra cash on gas, you'll want this place. Overall, our stay was fine. The bathroom could have used a more thorough cleaning before we got there. You could tell that the people who stayed before us smoked in the room because it smelled of old cigarettes (it was a non-smoking room). We only stayed one night but if were planning on staying longer I probably would have made them come and clean the bathroom and treat for ants. Or give us a different room. The guy at the desk was friendly. The location was perfect. We were in town for a 5k and it was less than 10 min away. It was also right off the interstate and less than 5 minutes from Food Lion. If you are driving a long distance or your flight arrives early you will need to find a handout because 3pm check-in means just that 3pm not a second.earlier.

There where spider webs in just about every corner of the ceilings not to mention roaches that weren't even afraid when I approached them. The toilet "appeared" to be clean but when I wiped under the rim it had yucky black mold all underneath...I just accidentally discovered this because I had to retrieve something from the toilet incidentally. The hotel price was excellent but when I discovered there was an additional price for WiFi I was EXTREMELY ANNOYED AND DISAPPOINTED. It is a motel, people drink and talk all night around the balconies. Carpet feels wet to the touch, room smell humidity and everything is really old. I WOULD NEVER COME BACK. Staff is very friendly.

The overall comfort of the room was acceptable for the price and a one night stay. I was not pleased with the condition of the carpet in the room. It was stained and in need of cleaning. There was also a crack in the floor by the bathroom and a water leak from the tub.

It took more than 15 minutes to check in because the loan clerk couldn't figure out how to make change for the guest in line in front of me. When I got to my room the key didn't work, so I had to get the loan clerk to come to the room to remedy the situation. While she was re-keying the room I noticed the light over the desk was burned out, She said […] maintenance would take care of it the next day, which did me no good for my one-night stay. After a long day of driving from Cleveland, OH in constant rain, we made last minute reservations when we stopped for dinner about 2 hours before our arrival. Our check-in was seamless. Meanwhile, another customer who thought she had confirmed a reservation with another booking service, was being told that there were no more rooms available. Lets face it, you get what you pay for. I wasnt expecting too much for the price of the room. We were only going to be there for a couple of hours for some sleep on our way south. I do expect a certain level of comfort in any hotel room I may stay at. This hotel room was so dirty that I wore shoes the entire time. The carpet was filthy and was ripped up in part of the room, the kitchen was grimey and old, and the towels in the bathroom were no longer white. The room was clean for the price we paid. But this hotel ranks at the bottom as compared to other extended stay hotels I have leaved in. The utensils were not cleaned, the bed sheet even though clean was pale yellow. I will not recommend this hotel to any one.

Got a non-smoking room that stank like an old ashtray. The front desk insisted the room was non-smoking but they could not control who smoked where and would not accomodate me elsewhere.

This hotel is located on the outskirts of Columbia, SC and very near the Zoo. It has easy access on and off the highway. There is a Waffle House, gas station and Food Lion all right nearby. Technically walking distance for all. There are train tracks nearby, but I never found the train too annoying. this hotel was the worse one i have ever seen the off duty workers stay there and starts things with you have their boy friends there with them curses my wife and then turns and calls the cops and you get asked to leave

It was very clean, comfortable and affordable. I had a wonderful time there. I will be making another reservation at the Extended Stay America.

I suppose I should have expected a subpar experience from a hotel that asked so comparatively little for the room. I checked in late and had to call the night manager to get checked in. Once in the room I was appalled: while tidy, the room was hardly clean. The smell of urine was noticeable after a few minutes. The kitchenette was very dated and overrun […] with ants. Overall the stay was most unpleasant. The manager to whom I brought these concerns the following morning was sympathetic but unable to help directly as I had booked through hotels.com. While I was assured that the problems would be dealt with, I doubt strongly that any establishment willing to accept such accommodation as ready for guests would have little difficulty doing so again. My boyfriend and I stayed here for thirty days with an excellent rate. Im use to staying at 5 star hotels and was very nervous to stay somewhere less but bc we were traveling for work we had to keep it cheap. Extended Stay was decently clean with convienient kitchen setup. Bring your own cookware and utensils if you're a cleanfreak bc ours were not […] clean. Bed was decently comfortable. Staff was WONDERFUL! The front desk girls were awesome with every request i had and the managers were eager to help me. Anything I was not satisfied with that i commented about was fixed with a quickness. The only real complaint I have is the type of people that stay here. Since the rates are so cheap and they offer kitchenettes there are mostly scummy construction workers that sit on the steps late at night and sometimes can make a woman feel a little less than safe. I had to wait 10 minutes for the girl to get off of the phone to be waited on while checking in. The room had no towels, wash clothes or hand towels. The lights at the bed did not work. The ice trays were empty. I had to go to the offive to get towels and they said that they had run out while cleaning. I checked in after 7 PM. Plenty of time to replace […] towels. I am handicapped and was put onthe third floor where there is no elevator. The girl would not put me on the first floor even though some of the handicapped rooms were not occupied. Lisätietoja

I had read mixed reviews upon booking the hotel, but closeness to a friend, kitchenette and inexpensive cost were the factors for me to decide to go with it. Only negative I could find was comforter did have a cig burn in it. I loved having the kitchenette, it's in a great location near grocery stores, restaurants and a gas station.
