"Never Again!"
The hallways smelled so strongly of air freshener that I could taste it in my mouth! The room was musty and could use major updating. The walls and doors were so thin I could hear the neighbor's "night time noises". Not in a very good area, the breakfast was slim pickings and could have run a bit later.

affordable, we only stayed one night. the bathroom shower needed to be replaced. Had a hole in it. room was small. Hot tub had too much chorline. basic breakfast.
while i stayed there, it was nice and comfortable. no complaints at all with the service but just have a tiny problem that they did NOT apply the $50 deposit back onto my account (onto my card)
Great staff, good breakfast, hotel was crowded but not a problem. I had noisy neighbors above, really thin walls and floor, could hear everything, voices, TV, guitar playing. Bring earplugs.

"Port-a-potty"
The rooms weren't bad for the price besides the fact that EVERYWHERE you walked in the hotel smelled like a porta-a-potty. The housekeeping staff uses wayyyyy too much air freshner. I didn't take a dip in their pool but it didn't look the cleanest. The only big complaint I had, like i said earlier was the fact that you smelled porta-a-potty everywhere. […] I'm not talking just air-freshner, it smelled like poop in hallways in some areas. The room wasn't bad for the price like i said before, it didn't seem like the bed sheets were changed or they just weren't that clean. All-in-all if you're on the road and just need a cheap place to stay it's decent but if you plan on staying for more than one day i recommend going somewhere else unless you can deal with smelling overused air-freshner everywhere you go. "Better than it looks"
The outside looks pretty run down but the inside is what you should expect for the price. Clean, but not contemporary. Know that if you are looking to save money on a short-term stay this hotel will work for you.

very reasonable price...has a pool and hottub! Good continental breakfast...good coffee, cereal and waffles. The guy at the desk in the evening was nice but the guy working in the am for the continental breakfast was very rude!

I would discourage anyone from booking at the Rodeway Inn Fargo N.D. The bed was totally worn out and the towels were thread bare. Very old worn out hotel. Security was very very poor as the door through which left was not locked because of the rusted lock system. Very poor.
If you don't mind mold this hotel would not be so bad. We had mold by the air conditioner, in the shower and on the bathroom floor. In fact when you walked in the room it smelled like mold.

The desk clerk and cleaning staff were attentive to my questions. Comfortable bed. The mold in the shower stall kept me from using the shower. There was plaster falling off the walls. The halls had dead leaves blown and tracked in and no one clearing them out.

This hotel was terrible. The hallways and rooms smelled nauseating. The room had not been cleaned and the blanket was full of hair. I got a fungal infection from the towels.

Don't say on your web site that you have internet access i.e, a business center when you don't! i specifically inquired with reservation service and they said you had internet. Very dissatisfied with this hotel, dingy and depressing. Concerend re my personal safety. Didn't appreciate the phone calls and knock on my door "wrong number and wrong person […] ???? Really? For the price you really can't complain but .... there was a heavy incense smell throughout people at front desk were polite but not friendly the shower could do with a good scrub and would really like to see breakfast hours extended until 10am

"Wouldn't stay again til remodeled"
This hotel is horribly run down and in need of a makeover. Our bathroom was disgusting. Toilet paper on floor when we walked in. Fan didn't work and was filthy. Rusty water leaks on walls. Continental breakfast very slim and the worst coffee I have ever tasted. I didn't feel safe being alone outside after dark.

The chemicals in the pool were so strong, my eyes burned, could not stay in room. Breakfast was so so, rooms very small, we asked if we could have an additional pillow, and was told "we don't have any extra pillows", found that strange.

Good value for the money. Breakfast was good, but I would expect 'full breadfast' to have a little more choice, besides the waffles, toast, cerial, coffee, juice, and donuts a full breadfast should include an egg dish, and fruit, plus a few more baked options such as bagels. we enjoyed our stayed our stay. it was a very quick stay but it was nice, the hot tub was hot, the pool was warm the breakfast was great! and the service was friendly. the room was small but hey you only sleep there not live in it!!

Some sort of dried crusty bodily fluid was on the outside on the bathroom door. In a non-smoking room there were burn holes in the blanket. Shower had not been cleaned. Holes in the sheets. Stinky pillows and rude staff. Wouldnt recommend this place to anyone. However the Diner next door cooks a mean breakfast!

This hotel is right off I-94 and very close to the hospital. There is a restaurant and gas station right next to it and K-Mart across the street. It was nice having the pool and hot tub and also the continental breakfast. Our room was clean and we appreciated having a refrigerator in it.
Heater didn't work in our room. Front desk, moved us to the room right next door and even started the heater before we went to the room. Other than that everything was fine. Have stayed here before and will stay again. Nice place for the price.
"good for what you pay for"
I stay at this hotel as it is only minutes from the clinic I need to be at, and it is priced right. The room was decently cleaned, and front desk staff at check in was friendly, but the next morning, the staff were rude and didn't even say hi! How hard is it to smile! :)
"I would rather sleep in my car"
We recieved a normal size room but it didn't have a tub. In place of a tub was a small corner shower. The first day we came back from a stressful day at the hospital where our son had surgery and they did not clean the room. When I called the desk they said no one was in that room. I had left a light bulb on the stand has it had blown when I turned […] on the lamp and it was never replaced. We ran out of hot water showering and for a pet friendly motel they had no walking area. "Exceeded Expectations"
VERY affordable, quiet, and clean. What more could anyone ask for? We stayed so we could attend a concert, thus we didn't expect much. Just needed a place to lay our heads. Didn't have the "cheap" hotel feel at all. Sure no water slide or any outta control perks, but still had a pool! More than most hotels of that price range. "Inexpensive"
The reason I booked was there was a deal on the price. As the price was so good we actually booked two rooms for four people rather than one room. The hotel is old and eventhough they have done renovations it still showed its age. The rooms were clean and a reasonable size. The bathroom had only a shower, but that is fine with us. I'd sum up my opinion […] in that the rooms were good in relation to the price I paid. If you want a five star hotel than you'd have to pay double or triple the price of this hotel. Found empty water bottles and garbage still in room. Limit of one small towel per person for the pool was inconvenient and certainly not enough to dry off before walking to our room.
"You get what you would expect with a cheap hotel."
The room was mostly clean. The beds were comfortable, I like a firmer mattress. New towels. Pool was small but pretty nice.
