Hotellin henkilökunta respassa voisi olla hieman palvelualttiimpaa; pieni hymy olisi kiva! Sijainti oli hyvä ja hinta-laatusuhde myös.

Hyvällä,mutta rauhallisella paikalla rautatieaseman lähellä.Sujuva bussiyhteys suurimpiin tavarataloihin ja päänähtävyyksiin.Myös Hop on-Hop off-pysäkki lähellä. Huone oli yksinkertainen ja siisti, kolme tähteä siitä annamme. Vuoteessa hyvä nukkua. Henkilökunta erittäin ystävällistä ja avuliasta.

Hotelli sijaitsee keskeisellä paikalla. Ympäristössä on erilaisia epämääräisiä yökerhoja, mutta niistä ei ollut minkäänlaista haittaa ainakaan ennen puoltayötä liikkuessa. Sisäpihalle antavassa huoneessamme oli tosi hiljaista öisin. Huone oli pieni, mutta ihan asiallinen. Tarjoushintaan nähden taso oli oikein mainio.

Suhteellisen vaatimaton, mutta perustarpeet tyydyttävä hotelli. Aamiaisen olisin toivonut sisältävän pekonia yms. mutta leitä, jogurtti, wienerit jne olivat ihan ok!

Sijainti hotellilla oli hyvä kaupunkilomaan. Huone kaipaisi hieman päivitystä, mutta kylpyhuone oli siisti. Hyvä huone lyhyelle vierailulle.

Hieman kulunut hotelli, mutta mukava ja joustava henkilökunta sekä erittäin hyvä sijainti!

Päärautatieaseman välittömässä läheisyydessä sijaitseva hotelli. Lähikadulla päivystää tyttöjä, mutta ainakaan alkuillasta kadulla ei ollut mitään uhkaavaa. Huone oli kapea ja sängyt peräkkäin toisella seinällä. Koska emme olleet halunneet parisänkyä, kerroksemme oli kaverusten kerros ja yöllä huoneisiin palaavat aiheuttivat jonkin verran melua. Huone […] oli aika kulunut, mutta hyvää oli vedenkeitin ja mahdollisuus keittää kahvia tai teetä ja säilyttää aamiaistarvikkeita entisessä minibaarijääkaapissa. Jos tyytyy melko vaatimattomaan, mutta muutoin siistiin tasoon, hotelli on sijaintisa vuoksi hyvä valinta. Lisätietoja

.....ja et vaadi luxusta niin ihan hyvä hotellivalinta Kööpenhaminassa. Yhden hengen huone aika pieni, erittäin huonosti siivottu (pölyä niin paljon että kurkussa tuntui), likainen ja vanha kokolattiamatto. Plussana erittäin hyvin toimiva ja nopea ilmainen nettiyhteys. Ja tosiaan erinomainen sijainti.

Hotellin sijainti on aivan loistava! Kävellen pääsee tutustumaan kaupunkiin ja sen tärkeisiin nähtävyyksiin. Myös kauppoja, ravintoloita ja kahviloita on aivan lähellä ja Kööpenhaminan päärautatieasema on muutaman minuutin kävelymatkan päässä. Huoneemme oli mukavan kokoinen ja siisti. Oma jääkaappi saa erityistä plussaa, koska näin säästimme esim. aamupalakustannuksissa. […] Hiustenkuivaaja ei ollut erityinen, joten se kannattaa pakata kotoonta mukaan jos tarvetta on. Vanha rakennus mutta erittäin siistit ja puhtaat huoneet ja pehmeät sängyt. Tivoli ja rautatieasema lähellä.

This kind hotel had to take stars out. Room was mayber danger for healthy. Smell was so bad that had to keep window open whole night and outside was 0 degrees.Hope that healthy authorities check sometimes hotel service too. It couldnt wait this kind hotel level in Scandinavia.Staff had no interest to appologate.

Hotel Absalon is situated right at the corner of Istedsgade that starts from the back side of the central railwaystation, which used to be a a "pro" street but has been cleaned somewhat from the worst times, being two blocks away from the station. As I knew the location, did not have any problems with it. Yes, there are women standing at streetcorners […] in w/e evenings, and some strip joints close by, but one could say that the area is safe. I travelled with my 6 yr old son there if that tells something, and we have lived in CPH for 1 year five years earlier. Price value was good as all hotels in Denmark (CPH) are of poor quality (like housing as well). Breakfast was good and the employees very polite and helpful. The back side of the railway station is not a good area, neither in day or night time, lot of junkies and similar, so it should be avoided. You can easily avoid it by walkin around it, if you wish not to spend double or triple room price which anyway has a poor interior. Location is very convenient, 2min walk from the station (and from there 12min by train to airport), right next to the Tivoli and 5min walk from Ströget, the picturesque shopping street. So summing it up, if you have seen a junkie and/or a prostitute in your life and aren't afraid of them (frankly, they exist all over), and do not look after a design hotel, I would recommend it. Huoneet olivat ahtaat ja kalliit siihen nähden että aamiainen ei edes sisältynyt hintaan. Yöks, haiseva ja jopa turvattoman tuntuinen hotelli. En suosittele.

The location of the hotel is good - 2 minutes walk from the train station. The room quality is not so good and the worst thing is that it was really noisy in the evening.

Copenhagen hotel prices are high, but the Hotel Absalon provided a decent and reasonably-priced base for our city break. Easily accessible from the airport (train ride directly from the airport to Central Station, then 2 short blocks from the station's back entrance), the hotel is family-run and staff were friendly. The breakfast buffet was very nice. […] The rooms we had were fairly basic but clean and warm. We didn't have any problems with the surrounding area - it was nicer than we expected. It's also an area of great little ethnic restaurants - we went to a Turkish one night and a Vietnamese another night and both were excellent and good value for Copenhagen. Of course, the hotel is also very close to Tivoli, which was idyllic at Christmas time. Copenhagen is a lovely city and if you are looking for a low-cost base, this hotel is a good choice. This hotel is in the red light district. I was approached several times and it was intimidating. Not recommended.

This hotel is in the red light district of Copenhagen and I found it quite dangerous. It was impossible to go out after 6 pm without getting approached every few steps, very intimidating. The hotel is very basic, no restaurant and poor breakfast. Not in a good state of repair and I am surprised it is a 3* - I would avoid it.

Lovely and cheap hotel to stay in, very clean rooms and great service. We didn't have any breakfast/food at the hotel but there's lots of nice restaraunts down Vesterbrogade. A fantastic sushi place (stick n sushi) on istedgade 62, just 5 min from the hotel. good clean solid room , no problem .

I would definitely recommend the Absolon if you're not traveling with children and are not looking for a bunch of hotel ammenities. I was traveling alone and this hotel worked great for me. It was only two blocks away from the Central Station. I was walking with a backpack so it only took five minutes to find the hotel which was great. I walked everywhere […] while in Copenhagen and did not need a bus or taxi. On the other side of the Central Station from the hotel is where you will find all the sites, cafes, restaurants, shops, etc so the hotel is very convenient. One drawback is that there were several strip clubs near the hotel but I didn't notice any problems, just a word of note for those of you who are offended by such businesses. The room was very small but clean and the TV worked fine as well as the wifi so I was able to stay connected. Not a bad stay at all! Lisätietoja

Room was very basic including bathroom. Digitized pictures cover up the basic nature of it. Staff was very helpful. Hotel charged extra for breakfast and like everything in Denmark, it was expensive. Hotel quite close to Train station and Tivoli Gardens. Not a great neigborhood but we were not threatened in any way. For the budget traveler, the Absalon City Hotel is a good value, but there are a few caveats. The good: the staff was very helpful and professional, the room was small and spare but clean, and the location was extremely convenient to lots of shopping and sightseeing. The bad: The beds were very uncomfortable, and in our location by the elevator, hallway […] noise kept us from ever getting a good night's sleep. Also, I would strongly recommend that all women avoid the three-block stretch of Istedgade directly to the west of the hotel, whether by day or night. If you walk it, you will likely be approached in ways that will make you very uncomfortable. However, outside that small stretch the area seems extremely safe and has a lot to offer in terms of restaurants and shopping. Lisätietoja

Cheapest of the options available in the central Copenhagen area. Arrived early and were allowed to check in straight away (11am) as room was already prepared which was incredibly convenient. Room and bathroom were clean and warm, as well as towels and linen. Very basic but satisfactory. Tea and coffee always available in the room (essential when its […] below freezing outside!), only downside was the minifridge didn't work so we couldn't keep milk or random goodies for making travel snacks. The hotel room was very small and extremely uncomfortable, but clean and adequate for a short stay because the location couldn't be better for touring Copenhagen, being within a short walk to the train station. Denmark is ridiculously overpriced, so the Absalon is probably a deal. There are very few good restaurants in the area, but there were many […] which were good enough if your stay is short and you just want a meal. They also were very expensive. The hotel is located in the red light district, which may be disturbing if you consider prostitution to be extreme exploitation of women and sex trafficking in general to be violations of human rights. The drug addicts in the area also don't seem to receive treatment, but I can't be sure. It was disturbing to see such human suffering, but they only violate themselves, and tourists needn't fear being assaulted nor feel endangered physically at all. Midt i sentrum, umiddelbar nærhet til Hovedbanegården, Tivoli, Strøget. Enkel men helt ok standard på rommet. Rent og pent.

Special pris på overnatningen - sidste minuts booking efter forholdene helt ok. Til budget pris kan man normalt ikke forvente det bedste værelse.

Ligger veldig sentralt i forhold til togstasjonen, da det er enkelt å komme seg ditt fra kastrup, 15 min med tog. 3 Min å gå fra jernbanestasjonen, kort vei til shopping og tivoli. Rommet var helt ok, badet også, kommer gjerne hit igjen...annbefaler det videre.

Grei beliggehet i närhet av det meste. Meget stort rom,med ok bad. Gratis vann og öl i minibaren. Besöker dette hotellet gjerne igjen.
